Awful quality and customer service

Dress was stored unworn in my closet safe for 2 months. When I went to try it on for my sister's wedding, the hang tag had bled all over the dress and the company is taking zero responsibility. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IT IS AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY. I was weary to buy from them all along and I regret my decision to take a change on this horrible fast fashion brand.

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but this clothing brand—as well as Revolve—seems to consistently use excessive material in their designs. Every item I've ordered (about four dresses and one romper) has had very oversized sleeves and a heavy fabric, which ends up making me look wider and bigger than I am. I'm only 5'3", and I feel like most of these brands' styles are really made for women who are at least 5'7" or taller.

They don't care

I had one of the worst customer experiences with Club L London. I placed an order (£190.50, Order No. UK*******) and provided the correct billing and delivery details. The payment and billing postcode were correct, the first line of the delivery address was correct, yet the company's system generated a delivery label with the wrong postcode. The parcel was then marked as "delivered" to a non-existent address. The Post Office confirmed to me that delivery could not have taken place with the incorrect postcode, and that only the sender (Club L London) has the authority to investigate. Despite this, the company refused to help. Instead, they issued a "final response" denying all responsibility and left me without my goods or a refund. This behaviour is unacceptable for a UK trading company. Under UK consumer law, the retailer remains responsible until the goods are physically received by the customer — yet Club L London refused to comply. I am now pursuing a chargeback with my bank and have reported them to Trading Standards. I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before ordering, as their customer service is dismissive, unhelpful, and shows no respect for consumer rights.

I don't even know where to begin. I ordered the Dalarie dress and received it yesterday. Upon opening the package, I noticed that not only was the dress ripped, it was also stained. There is a large black scratch stain on the dress approximately 5 inches long on a light fabric. I proceeded to contact customer service. I spent $240 on this dress and as a customer when you order an item, you expect it to come in and be in perfect condition. Not only was this dress ripped, it was also stained. Upon contacting customer service, they told me to simply ship the item back? I needed this dress for my baby shower next week. How is it my fault as a customer that you guys sent me a damaged dress? To tell the customer to just simply ship the item back when your company is sending out damaged products without checking is actually insane. As a customer I would expect more considering this is 100% the company's responsibility. I proceeded to ask for a refund and all they would give me is 20%. Keep I mind that's $39. That is not enough of a refund for me to have a seamstress sew the rip and have the dress cleaned professionally. Not to mention I shouldn't even be having to do this in the first place considering I should have received an item in proper condition. Now I have a refund of $39 and have to go out of my way to get my item cleaned and sewn because customer service does not want to take accountability for their poor quality, lack of quality checks, and terrible customer service.

DONT SHOP FROM THEM.

I received my order, but it is too small and I needed to exchange it for a larger size. There are also white spots on the dress. I sent an email with attached pictures on the same night that I received the order then I attempted to process a return, but it would cost me $40, even though I only paid $14 for shipping. The same dress I purchased for $165 is now priced at $210 if I want to buy a size bigger. I was extremely disappointed. Not only do I have a dress that is too small despite selecting the correct size according to the provided sizing chart, but if I want to exchange or return it for a larger size, I will have to pay a significantly higher price. This situation is disheartening. Their respond to my email was" Unfortunately the exchange rate has increased, which means the item you ordered has also increased in price to reflect this" which part of that respond make sense? Horrible site to shop. DONT SHOP FROM THEM.

Ammara, if that's even her actual name, was rude and unhelpful. The site charged me for wrong items. Charged me for two returns. Emailed them immediately to cancel and no response. No goodwill, no nothing. Corporate greed at its finest.

STAY AWAY FROM IT

As with other reviews you will read here, I ordered several dresses that I returned and I did not get my refund. We are talking here about a few hundred euros!

This shop is 100% a scam, the customer service is terrible and unreliable. They gave me different contradictory excuses, none of them made sense.

I am currently in a dispute on PayPal with them, but I doubt I will see any of my money back.

Do yourself a favour. Stay away from this shop. The quality is super poor. The shipping and return costs are extremely high, and on top of that they will steal your money. It is not worth it.

Better go to a realible shop, that is maybe a bit more expensive, but at the end you will not lose so much money as I did.

Never again

Bought 2 dresses, 1 of which was misshaped and disfigured. I contacted Club L London within 30 days. They played games back and forth until it was too late to return. Finally sent me a link that would not allow a return because it was too late. If you ah e business practices like Club L London #clubllondon you should not be in business. Buyer beware their tactics to scam the consumer are disgraceful. And over a small amount of money. Unbelievable

Rejected return

Ordered multiple dresses, kept one and sent the rest back. I then received an email to say that one of the dresses I returned didn't meet their returns policy as there was a 'mark'on it. I found it very strange when I realised what dress was returned as it was the only dress I never tried on. After looking at the full dress it became apartment that there wasn't a single mark on the dress and in fact nothing wrong with it. After emailing multiple times and sending multiple pictures of the full dress showing not a mark on it I've still been told they can't do anything about it. Never had a bad experience with this website before but after this I certainly won't be ordering again, very disappointing as I absolutely loved the dress I kept and have loved previous items before. I would advise anyone else thinking of ordering from this website to think twice, as y returns policy isn't as described.

We ordered a Jumpsuit on the 16th Oct which came and looked cheap and nasty. We returned immediately and Club L have refused a refund because they say its been worn. It was never worn beyond trying on the garment. They sent us photo's of a grey material showing white marks, the item we have is black!
They have now returned the item and no surprise, not a single mark. According to them, they use a "special" machine identifies marks on the crotch! Nonsense and if it is correct, how do i know that it hasn't been tried on before and returned? As a consumer we don't have access to the same "special" detectors when inspecting our deliveries. It is an absolute scam and appalling behaviour for what is meant to be a reputable company.

They have since offered me a 20% refund by way of a credit note towards something else. I dont want a damn discount code, I want my money back, I have sent them a video of the item (the returned item) which clearly shows no marks on the BLACK item. There may be marks on their GREY item but that isn't what I returned.

The team simply don't listen, the service is awful and I am now having to waste time with the ombudsman. Stay away and buy from someone more trustworthy.

Do not buy anything from this website they have the worst quality and bad costumer service after they sending me a missing item from 10/1 untill now thet are trying to confirm that with ther wearhose I understand that they meed time but they don't need 2 month to find out that they are total scam Asos has better quality then they do please do jot waste your money here I paid 100 on thi s top and here is the quality and plus they never returned my 180 dollars that after massing up with my order I told to all my friend and community that they are not gonna but frim here Iam going to post everwhere

Scam - rejected return

Scam - rejecting returns!
I feel like I've been scammed by this company and reading some of the reviews they seem to have form for this type of thing.

I purchased a number of outfits for my hen party, I tried them on, kept one and returned the rest. All still had the label and protective tag on. I returned the items on the same day. They are clearly unworn. Club L rejected the return of the most expensive item (£150 jumpsuit) claiming it had a dirty crotch, they sent pictures which showed nothing but white interior - when I challenged them on what the pictures actually show they said I need to respect their decision and they have returned the item to me. I have inspected the item and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, no marks or anything on the crotch. I have attached pictures of the returned item including a close up of the crotch to show there is nothing wrong with it. I actually don't know how they can get away with this, such a con! Avoid at all costs!

I must express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I've had with Club L London. I placed a significant order for multiple outfits, and it pains me to say that I feel I've been scammed out of £200.

I carefully selected the items, anticipating a seamless shopping experience, and ensured that I followed all return policies to the letter. I returned all items except for one, which I intended to keep. These items were returned in the same pristine condition in which they arrived, without a single mark or blemish. The quality of the products should speak for themselves, yet I was met with a shockingly unjust refund denial for two of the items.

What troubles me further is the basis upon which my refund request was denied. I have been informed that the denial is due to alleged markings on the items that are not visible in the photos provided from them. This is not only unacceptable but also deeply concerning. I can assure you that there were no markings on the returned items, visible or otherwise. It is alarming to think that such unjust denials are tarnishing the reputation of a brand that many customers, including myself, have trusted.

I sincerely hoped that Club L London can rectify this situation promptly and demonstrate the commitment to customer satisfaction that I had previously believed in, however I've received no such response or solution.

Please be warned of there tactics of refusing refunds to gain customers money. This is just one of many reviews that have reported them of doing this. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU POTENTIALLY WISH TO RETURN THE ITEM.

It won't take more than a few seconds to see the number of dissatisfied customers who have posted about this company sending out marked clothing and then blaming the recipient. It is impossible to prove it was marked when opening unless we took every parcel we receive and open it on camera!
The items were not even tried on, as I tried a dress on prior to taking said outfit out of the bag and that was exactly what I wanted. Very disappointed now that I chose to keep the item because after the way I have been treated I would rather not have purchased anything from them.
I have asked numerous questions, to which they will not answer, all they state is their staff are trained!
This is by far the most awful company I have ever dealt with. They sent 'said outfit' back thrown in a postal bag, rolled up in a ball.
The item was a chiffon material and pale pink/nude in colour. Both top and bottom had huge tags on them! How I could have worn them with tags on is something I have asked numerous times because there is no way of hiding them or disgusting them! The tags are perfect, not bent or marked like they would be if they had been manipulated under clothing or something. The dress smells like a factory,the top clearly hasn't even been put on, this can be seen by the way it sat when it was out of the bag.
The items were not very expensive, I am more than capable of affording them, however this is down to principle as this company try to steal from people who, in good faith, purchase items from them, need to return them (within the returns policy requirements) and then face the company defacing the items to say they cannot be returned and refusing a refund.
What a terrible business model and a dreadful customer service department.
I will be making sure we spend our hard earned money with a company that has the right ethics, morals and standards

THIS COMPANY SCAMS YOU ON REFUNDS.
Please do not buy from them. I've never written a bad review in my life but this company has made me literally sick to my stomach. They have lied and refused a refund 1/4 dresses that I ordered by saying there was a perfume smell all over it. I tried the dresses on straight after a shower and had NO MAKE UP AND NO PERFUME ON. They are scamming other people in the exact same way, spraying perfume on at the warehouse, they do this because it can't be proved on pictures.

- my argument was that: then why didn't any of the other dresses I tried on smell of perfume? But they bypass any argument that you have and just pretend to take a second look.

I have never been more disgusting with a company on my life. They are complete scammers and stop responding to emails once they don't want to deal with you anymore.

Terrible quality products and customer service.
Dress purchased for a wedding at the last moment. Upon arrival the dress was ripped. I photographed the dress and managed to secure the tear with a safety pin and change in hair style.
For £120 I felt it was a poor quality product and sent this back.
I later received an email stating ' Hi' no acknowledgment of my name and of a very accusatory tone refusing to provide a refund. Avoid if possible. Even if you're desperate like I was.

Ordered a dress for a special occasion which arrived with a hole in! I am left paying even more to have this fixed whilst they've offered me a mere £10 refund. Consider the cost of their dresses this is nothing and I'm still out of pocket

Have ordered few times from this website but when it comes to returns it looks like they only want you to keep an item even if it doesn't fit you. Have ordered this white item honestly it's white colour so little stains might happen when you try them on.
They have refused the return because of one little tiny stain which i haven't even seen or know where it is but they have provided unclear pictures. The item could come already stained but didn't notice as being so tiny and maybe somewhere on a inside place‍ couldn't tell from the pictures where the stain was located.
I would avoid this website if I am not sure about the size and there can be a possibility of returning the item especially in a light colour. Verry dissapointed by them to say the item has been worn when it had the white strip arround it as well.
