In order to earn money your pictures must be clicked and viewed in zoom. No one is going to really do that. Plus it must be viewed for certain amount of time for you to earn pennies. You'd have to literally upload millions of pictures for people to click on them and then view it in zoom. You are just paying clicksnap fees. It's going viral but people are not making money. Clickasnap is a scam.

Our Paid Per View benefit is an amazing feature on our platform which genuinely pays photographers when their photos are viewed. We do so, at a rate which is competitive with what both Spotify and YouTube pay their creators as well!

You do not have to zoom in on a photo in order for the Paid Per View benefit to come into effect. I can assure you that this is not an element of this benefit at all. However, you are right in saying that we do have a slight time frame which a photo must be viewed. This is a matter of seconds and is specifically in place to deter fraud and to encourage people to share good quality photos that their followers would enjoy. It's also very standard, for example, for a creator on YouTube, a viewer must watch their videos for 30 seconds in order for that creator to earn any money from that viewer.

I can also attest that we pay out to multiple members daily, so we have a whole heap of people earning through our website successfully! Have a look around the ClickASnap forum, or our YouTube channel for tips and tricks to help you earn as well. And don't forget, we offer so many features beyond our Paid Per View benefit. There's so many ways to enjoy our site!

False Advertising

They say you get $0.70 per view. That is 70c. You don't get anywhere near that. I saw someone explain you get 7c. Well, that would be written as $0.07.

We do not advertise $0.70 anywhere on our platform. We offer zero point seven cents (USD) per view. This is competitive with what both Spotify and YouTube pay their creators!

True enough I did subscribe for the yellow orange subscription that had the L2 in it right above the red free subscription and when I check my bank account the following day it's negative $23.31 so I looked up what the LT meant it's like $2.36 or something to that nature so I try to find customer support with no luck at all unless I scroll through about 6,000 pictures that may be the bottom page the person was talking about but I didn't find it anywhere else plus the fact that it's very difficult to navigate through that site and a whole lot of work to do for a very little 70 Cent reward

It sounds as though you subscribed to our Ad-Free membership on an annual basis for one payment of £19.20, versus paying £2.00 monthly. I am sorry to hear you were surprised by the amount taken as you do have to manually select the annual subscription type and the amount due to be taken from your account is confirmed twice prior to us asking for any payment details. You have benefited from a reduced price though by paying annually!

Scam

Has no problem sending spam emails but cannot send a password reset email. Then customer support talks down to you saying you need proof that you asked for it instead of actually sending it. Like wtf

Having had our customer support team look into your concerns, it was clarified that the emails you referred to as 'spam' were actually 3 emails in total. Two of which were regarding your subscription with us, the first a reminder for your annual subscriptions auto-renew and the second a successful payment confirmation of this subscription payment a week later. The third and final email we sent you was one in response to an email you had sent us.

I can confirm that we do not send any marketing or promotional emails whatsoever.

I can see from your email exchange with customer support that you were provided assistance in re-gaining access to your account. Alongside this, a refund of your annual subscription was made as a gesture of goodwill.

I am confident that your experience with our customer support team, with everything taken into consideration, was not deserving of 1 star. Should you have any other concerns at all, please do get back in touch with the customer support agent who assisted you, and they will be happy to help you further.

I had subscribed to the "no ad" account and later on the same day, found they "seller" subscription better on the same day. I never knew that ClickaSnap had this high level of integrity as they refunded me payment for the first subscription. This has strengthened my trust in this organization

Better than social media. Don't waste your time anyplace else. Clickasnap is legit and I've enjoyed uploading photos, earning for views, and checking out other users' photos as well. Great staff, really nice members too. I love it there.

They had working website, they keep fixing it without testing impact on other working feature and they are ended up working only bare minimum features which is less then penny for what paid subscribers gets in return. They are 20 years back here on user experience here.

They are developing new website since ages, with no target date in mind. Handled by people who don't have any idea on how to executive such project in time within target date.

They promised to release new website by mid of 2021, late 2021, early 2022, summer 2022. And recently confirmed by CEO that no fix date in mind!

In a name of fixing things in new website, they don't provide support in current website and they are letting their paid members suffer without support since 2years and more. And that is never ending story.

In case even if they build new website, they are the people who ends up with messy website with their uncontrolled fix as it seems they don't know maintenance.

CEO(who is brand ambassador as well) is focusing on customer care instead of other important issues and gives answer to dozens of new people(ironically there are so many new people everyday, who feel they are robbed)on daily basis that 0.7c is not 0.7$.

Thank you for your feedback. We do appreciate the frustration you feel with the contact updates on the new website without getting to actually experience any of the work we've been doing as a user. I feel it is important to give you as much detail as possible on the update of the new ClickASnap site that we have been developing as a lot has been going on behind the scenes.

So, after spending in excess of £500k with our previous developers over the last 13 months, they have repeatedly failed to deliver as agreed, on the product, service, cost’s and most importantly dates. However, with them constantly dangling the carrot of 'its only 4 weeks away now', it was difficult to leave and foolishly we stood by them. This has now come to an end as we owe it to ourselves and most importantly you, our loyal customers, to take positive action (also, just so you know, we aren’t going to let them get away with their actions we have employed Taylor Wessing London’s top Tech lawyers to take the relevant action against them). So, in February we engaged with Blue Frontier, (https://www.bluefrontier.co.uk/) a UK development company with 3 offices and over 100 employees, to start working with us on not only securing the existing ClickASnap site, but also to start making some immediate changes to it, so that it is less painful to use over the coming weeks and to complete the specifications and wire frames build document for the new site and mobile App.

Following a large number of meetings, last week we gave the go ahead for Blue Frontier to start the new site and mobile App build. This will take 6 months and we want it to be an interactive process with you our users, so you can have a say in how you want the site to work. Details of how this will work will follow, but your views are important to us to ensure we don’t let you down again, and the finished product is everything you wished for.

We are open for questions so please do contact customer support with any you may have (https://clickasnap.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new) or join our Facebook discussion group (search: ClickASnap Advice & Discussion group) where we spoke about this in a lot more detail and have answered a lot of our members questions already. We will also be compiling a video interview with the ClickASnap team, to talk about the experience of the old developers, but more importantly the exciting changes and new ClickASnap team members we are now working with.

Once this is all completed, we are also going to personally fund a new trust pilot review based website around developers, so that we can help others avoid the painful and costly experience we have had over the last few years.

Awful customer service... awful payment policies. Use this at your own risk.
Influencers have no idea how the payments work and as such the actual amount is a fraction of what they say.
If you pay and on the same day change your mind... too bad! You're in for another year. They are not friendly or reasonable.

Apologies for the somewhat curt subject line but this is in response to all the attention-seeking negative reviews. Most of those reviewers actually demonstrate that they appear to be incapable of reading numbers containing a decimal point. It is the reviewers that have the problem as the amount paid per authentic view, and any other numbers that are relevant to the use of the ClickASnap website, are clearly stated. At the time of writing, the amount earned per authentic view is 0.7 cents, or, maybe in a more familiar format to most: $0.007, as in "not quite one cent". There is truly no aspect of how this could be misleading.

Views do not appear automatically, why would they? You need to work at it and there are plenty of helpful tutorials on the site and on YouTube that give you ideas on how to attract more views to your photos. If you focus on getting paid a lot of money fast, you will be disappointed. Any community is the result of its members, you will get out what you put in. There will always be people trying to spoil your fun but there are also people who will show genuine interest in the work you post, if your work is interesting enough.

Tom Oswald and his team in my experience have responded without delay to any support queries. Furthermore, they have come up with innovative ways to adjust to the market, and, in order to try and keep ClickASnap fair for users who are actually interested in photography, to fend off people who try to abuse the system for their own personal benefit. This has necessitated a few unpopular moves, such as terminating "paid-per-view" for free accounts. If you do not believe that your photos are worth GPB2 per month to be displayed on this platform, to interact with other photographers, and use a few of the other features – go somewhere where you reckon you will be more successful. And good luck with finding such a site!

The point that you are not allowed to upload stock images downloaded from the Internet or any other photos you do not have any rights to is really a no-brainer, it should not even be necessary to have that in the T&Cs! Or on every Upload page...

The entire site is being rebuilt, and judging by the Preview video it looks very promising, with a sleek interface, too. I certainly look forward to exploring it in the not-too-distant future!

Just reading the reviews alone make me not want to come anywhere NEAR this app! Not because of what the customer is saying… But what the company is RESPONDING with!

Oh my god! What a horrible way to respond to people who have LEGIT concerns! Gaslighting, Victim blaming and don't forget the cringe worthy tone of pure Narcissism coming from each review, with the stench getting stronger and stronger.
That is NOT how you speak to or treat people! They have very SERIOUS issues with your app and you are treating them like they CHOSE to do it! You are flat out stealing from innocent people! You have a NO REFUND policy?! That ALONE would make me not want to keep your app! That is the most SKETCHY "policy" I have ever heard of. Not to mention SELFISH, SNEAKY, ignorant, lazy, rude, immature, with a heaping side of a False Sense of Entitlement!
They really need to have a meeting and brainstorm some new ideas on how to completely over-haul their entire Customer Service department as well as the entire business plan!
You have FALSE advertisement, FALSE Hope, and all together you're just extremely bad people who I'm surprised can live with themselves and sleep at night.

Shame on you for treating people this way!
If they're coming to your app to make money, chances are they may not have TONS of it… so why would you kick someone when they're down?!

Terrible terrible terrible!

Please RUN AWAY from this company as fast as you can!

With regards to your comments on 'false advertising' I can confirm that absolutely no aspect of our advertising is false. We are aware of some tiktok videos circulating which are providing mis-advice, however, we are not affiliated with these in anyway, and we can only do so much with regards to reporting them/trying to get them taken down.

I can also assure you that our refund policy is also available to all of our members at all times, and it is advised to read this through prior to making any purchase, as it is the advice of any platform. Our refund policy is in line with the Consumer Rights Act (2015), and appropriate given that we offer digital services.

Misleading

Hi, I have only been a member of clickasnap for a few days and where it does sound like a good idea the site is very misleading. It says on the FAQ, youtube videos they have posted and customer service contacted that they pay 7 cents per view. This isn't true. They only pay you 1 cent per view that is considered eligible for payment which is shown to you on the upload page if you look at the pictures you posted. I contacted customer support about this and they literally didn't even read my question. I was just sent a copy and paste of the FAQ saying that I was suppose to be getting 7 cents and not even mentioning why I am only get 1 cent. Misleading and poor customer support. Willing to change my review when they fix these glaring issues.

Beware from Auto Renewal

Beware of Auto-Renewal. Clickasnap policy is no refund even if you ask them to cancel few hours after they charged you for the second year.
I stopped using the service 3 months after enrollment as a Professional Photographer. I did not realize I am signed for Auto-renewal when the year end. Few hours after they charge the second year I realized my PayPal was charged, I email request to stop the service for the coming year (that had just started few hours earlier) Click A Snap reply was they had strict no refund policy.
I canceled my subscription the next day.
It is a shame that PayPal gives service to such a vendor.

2.5 kindof disappointing

It's disappointing because it says it's 0.70 per click which is 70¢

If they could just correct this to make sense, people wouldn't be blindsided by it.
They insist that. 70 means a 7th of a cent or something.
It means almost a dollar in all math/currency worldwide. Just fix that and people would be less upset.
That was what bothered me most.
It makes it seem like it could really make some money. And I would have if it was at that rate.

Also, my account was shut down for stealing images, and it took 2 months to sort it out that the images are mine. They're good. Thanks. I don't steal and pass off things as my own. That's just stupid.
