I am from Nova Scotia. While searching for fabric stores in Canada, I came across Christina's Fabrics. What amused me is you are located somewhat up behind Oshawa, where I went to school at Kingsway College some 36 years ago for 2 years. A great experience. In the midst of the current pandemic I was frantic when I realized I didn't have all the fabric I needed to complete a baby quilt. I never thought I would find what I need and I was starting to panic. I was pleased with the selection and the ease of ordering and more importantly I am pleasantly surprised at how great the fabric feels. I will Definitely be placing another order soon

My order was scheduled to arrive on Friday April 10th and now has been delayed until Tuesday April 14th. I was really hoping I would have gotten my fabric before the long weekend as I would have had time to work on my project sooner.
Hi Lori C., we are sorry to hear of your disappointment in your scheduled shipment, but this is a very challenging time and the post office is trying it's best to keep the mail moving with limited employees. We are all trying to do our part. It is stated on my online store that we ship within 1-3 business days! We received your order on April 5th (Sunday) your order went out on April 8th and Friday April 10th was Good Friday and Monday Easter Monday. (no mail on either of these days) I ship the most cost effective way possible, hence the flat rate shipping. Perhaps it would have been better for you to have done a curbside pickup, by choosing pick up in store, especially if you were in need of it by a certain date. You were never given a delivery date of April 10th, by us so I am not sure how you came to that date. I understand your disappointment, but I don't believe that we could have done anything any different. We are extremely busy and trying to keep our commitment to ship within a specific time frame and we feel that we are doing this. I can't apologize for the post office, but I also know that like the rest of us they are all going through a very challenging time. We sincerely thank everyone for their patience!
I was very satisfied with how my order was handled. It was ready ontime and pick up was very simple.
I ordered fabric during the COVID-19 lockdown and they sent me all my fabric in separate vacuum sealed packs inside my package. I really appreciate this since the fabric will be used for face masks for customers. Thanks!

There was a problem with my order and I emailed them on a Sunday (hoping to hear back the next day) and they got back to me right away. They went above an beyond to fix the mistake. I purchased solid coloured flannel. The quality of the flannel is what I would rate as poor. It's stiff and rough to the touch and it's so thin that it's almost see threw. I am considering not even using it on my granddaughters quilts.
I did like Christina's Fabrics website and service. I was delighted on how quickly I received my order. I simply wish it was a better quality fabric!
Hi there, I am so sorry to hear about your disappointment. I know that you had purchased the snuggle flannel, which is soft to the touch, but a little thin, the burgundy NJ Flannel which was not as soft but a little thicker. It is important that our customers be happy with their purchases and if not then we will make it right. I wish you had sent me an email or called the store prior to this so that we could have discussed this first! I will be in contact to get this rectified. I am just as disappointed in reading your review as you were in your expectations of receiving your flannel.
