Placed an order on a Friday morning. The order was not shipped until late Tuesday. Sat in their city for two days and then finally shipped out and I received it the following Tuesday. Good thing I live in the central U.S. or it would have taken even longer! I paid $7.95 for this extra slow shipping and handling!

I placed an order which was in stock (resurrection eggs) for Easter. FIVE DAYS LATER and too late to order something else for the kids to arrive in time for Easter, I received an email that the item was no longer in stock and unavailable... I would advise people to stay away from this site and order elsewhere. Can I post 0 stars?

Like a fool I kept going back to them because of the low costs. I can't even begin to count how many defective, damaged and wrong items that I have received over the last five years. The customer service is arrogant and basically pretty much unapologetic. Not once in all my issues was I offered so much as a "We are sorry" No, they almost act like since you are a Christian you shouldn't raise cain when you have a problem. Secular Amazon treats my Christian products better then them and I told them as much. Don't be fooled by their mailings offering super savings. You will pay for it some way. Their packaging is atrocious as well.

I've ordered from this site a few times. I had to call customer service only once. When I called I also spoke to a woman named Cathy/Kathy, I thought she was sweet. Maybe some of the employees have been reprimanded for thwireless customer service and are doing better, I don't know. I called to tell them I received everything in my order except one thing but, there was one thing in my box I didn't order. She told me to keep or give it as a gift free of charge and that they would get the cd I ordered in the mail and I received it in less than a week. Side note: make sure you do read side notes about the Bibles, there are some on their page that they sell super cheap because of a scratch or it might be slightly damaged for whatever reason.

This is the WORST customer service I have ever received. On REPEATED occasions. We order frequently from this site, and their customer service is among the worst. They will ignore your questions. I have asked repeatedly for a tracking number but will never get even a response back from them. I have had orders never show up at all. My experience every time using this site is a completely negative one. I'm tired of being tricked by their lure of competitively low prices. I will never order from this company again, and would STRONGLY discourage anyone else from ordering from them as well. Lousy, rude, disrespectful, unprofessional customer "service".

Imprinting service

Really bad imprinting your name on the Bible.
Order an imprint, the Bible came defective (dent on the edge near the imprinted name).
Request a replacement, the Bible also came with a similar dent as before.
It looks like whoever did the imprint didn't care at all.

Asked for return, only gave me one label when I have 2 Bibles in 2 boxes to ship back.
Had to ask for another label.

We order a couple hundred dollars from this company a year. I can promise we will never order from here again. We placed an order in November, it was shipped in two boxes. One box arrived the other box never did. I called the company to ask about my package they offered no help. They said wait a couple more days it will eventually get there. I had already waited a week. All that I wanted them to do was call UPS. They said they couldn't do that that they wouldn't know where it was either. So I called ups myself. Hey did give me a refund but I had to order it from somewhere else and it will not arrive in time for Christmas. They did offer me one time free shipping for my in convince but they were already offering free shipping that day. Really disappointed, doesn't seem very Christian like employees! Beware if you have to deal with customer service!

Poor delivery service
December 11, 2015

I ordered a game at the end of November. Was notified on Dec. 2 that it had shipped. It is now Dec. 11 and I still don't have it. Very poor tracking system. Wanted it to reship before Christmas and now will probably not make the deadline. Would never order from them again.

Bad services
September 24, 2015

Put an order with pay pal, the Christian book.com overrode my address with an older one. They would not change the address as the shipment is out now, won't get my order on time for the bible study, have to pay again and lost about 15 CAD in shipping to a wrong address... Customer service told me can't do anything about it. Indigo and Chapters from now on.

Agree About Rude Service

I was reading the reviews and noticed the one about the rude customer service rep named Kathy. I also recently had a problem with an order and ending up speaking with Kathy, or Cathy. Not sure about the spelling. She was very rude and abrupt. She was adamant about my item not being damaged and yet I was looking at it and describing the damage to her. Terribly rude person. Will not order from there again.

I ordered magnetic whiteboards that had an excellent rating, but they were extremely thin, made from cheap cardboard material. They wouldn't erase cleanly even within seconds of using a dry erase marker. They were horrible. This site stipulates that returns be mailed through the US postal service which was extremely expensive. I had only opened the plastic on one whiteboard and didn't return it because it was also stipulated that only unopened merchandise can be returned. The one whiteboard that I kept is filled with now filled with air and warped. I returned the other 6 boards with the same packaging in which they had been shipped. The company only refunded 2/3 of my money because they said that a restocking fee had been charged because either the merchandise was returned in an unsalable condition or the return was made past the 30 day return period. I had returned the order within a day or two of its arrival so it had to be the former. I will never order anything from this company again. They sell Christian products, but they don't seem very Christian to me.

Ordered a lot of homeschool products for upcoming year from Christianbooks.com. Got an email that certain items have shipped. The rest are listed as in process. All of the items where suppose to be in stock! I called customer service and they are guessing that their where 2 boxes and one of them wasn't scanned before shipping. So now I am waiting to see if all the in process items have shipped. Need these books for a certain date and do not have time for guessing that they have been shipped. Will not be ordering from this site again. Very sloppy shipping system and policies.

Quick shipping service and I received my products within a week. They are all nicely packed, making sure no products are damaged during shipping and delivery. And the prices of the books, Bibles, DVDs, CDs are cheaper than the bookstores.
Next time when I have to purchase some resources for my church, I will buy from this website.

RODEO HERO by Shannon Taylor Vannatter---I do not know the proper words to tell you how wonderful "Rodeo Hero" by Shannon Taylor Vannatter is. It will touch your heart and soul like no other book has ever done. Kendra, as a new Christian, was struggling with a promiscuous past, while Stetson, firmly believed in waiting for marriage, was having trouble forgiving her as Jesus had forgiven her. 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be IN Christ, he is a NEW creature; old things are passed away; behold ALL things are become NEW." Shannon has indeed done a remarkable job in writing about "secondary virginity" as she so lovingly explains once you become a Christian, God does not see your past sins anymore, as they are covered by the Blood of Jesus. Have you, or anyone you know, ever had this problem? If so, let me please recommend this book and even if not, I still highly recommend "Rodeo Hero" for the wonderful inspiring message, the very sweet story of love and a beautiful ending. It is definitely a book to put on your "to read" list. God bless you, Shannon, I feel so honored to have read this book and to be able to let others know how great it is. Looking forward to reading more of your work.

If you're looking for a store that specializes in Christian merchandise this is the one stop I recommend to you. Great prices and amazing flat rate shipping price. Their online and phone customer service are excellent, efficient and fast. I once wanted to add something to my order after I submitted my order. They were helpful in adding it without any major extra fees. Their shipping department usually ships things very fast which usually ships the day you order unless you order after the time they ship their stuff that day. I found out that they had to ship it separately yet they only charged me for addition item as though it was combined with my other order.

There isn't really anything bad with this site... I would recommend it to everyone especially those who orders huge amounts because you save a lot of the flat rate shipping but for those who for example want to buy 1 little item... like I said flat rate shipping no matter what size your item is.

I ordered college books from them for my husband. They said they shipped them on the 3rd found out this was a lie. They had tracking for one and not the other orders. And my husband has still not received them 3 weeks later. I called to find out about it they said it takes 4-6 weeks to receive the items once shipped. I do not know what postal service they use but it only takes a week for my packages to get to him. When I complained the guy on the phone told me I could go through a different company next time and was very rude. Not very Christ like attitude. I will not be ordering through them again.
