I read the reviews and thought i would test the legitimacy of the site.
I set up two completely different profiles
I received identical letters from different women and identical letters from the same women to both profiles... each professing their undying love and affection for me.
In my profiles I asked them to say what country I am from and asked other questions. Never was my country stated nor were my questions answered. Just generic "I have been to your country" or "I will be visiting your country" or "I love your city" (which was never mentioned)
Several ladies profiles stated one thing about their careers and their "Admire Letter" stated something completely different.
Because I checked it out, I never spent any money on this site. As stated in other reviews, it would be very expensive and a complete waste of resources.

Relationship needs to be nurtured with communication and patience. Being an online dating does not water down the demands of a relationship building. That it is called an online dating should not make you think it should be fast and free. Every relationship comes with a price. Personally, I think online dating should be reserved for men, aged men who have seen it all, better if they are going through a heart break because it will help them endure through the recovery. Men are poor when it comes to handling emotional torture you know. Those are my views based on experience.

I don't think online dating is suitable for those who cannot do without romance because it may take forever for you to meet her. Also, if you want to hook up with a lady in a short time, it's not realistic to use the site especially if you have marriage at the back of your mind. If you don't want to spend money, it's not a good choice because a lot of subscription or service charges will be paid. The result can be under your expectation. For me, I tried many times before I got one. So think it carefully before taking a dive.

Seriously ignore the positive reviews for this site... they're as fake as the women on the site itself. I was an idiot and bought 96 dollars of credit -- it was the only way possible to read the messages I received. That should have been a red flag to me of course. I used about 3 or 4 credits before my senses came back. I created a stupid profile, with no photos and I kept getting mail and chat requests every minute. It's just really stupid.

I started a claim against them on PayPal. ChnLove responded to that (not via the PayPal system but using their own messaging system), telling me that I had used credits, could not get a refund and asked me to stop my PP claim. I refused to drop the claim. They sent me numerous emails telling me that they were just a portal for the agencies that provide the women, that they are strictly verified, blah blah blah. I told them that even if the women were genuine (which they certainly are not) that ChnLove's site is still set up in such a way in which it exploits its members out of as much cash as it possibly can. They refused to go along with this, insisting that they were doing no wrong and continued to insult my intelligence with very well crafted messages insisting that I should stay with the site. I persisted in telling them that I had no interest and that I believed that their site was fraudulent. The final straw was when they agreed to refund me but not through PayPal. They sent a form for me to fill in with my bank details, an agreement to keep it confidential and to drop the PayPal claim before they refund. Of course, I'm not stupid and declined... the way this business operates, it's likely that they would rescind their refund offer if I dropped the PayPal claim. It did not make any sense to me why they would circumvent the PayPal refund and do it in such a way as they offered. Eventually I got my money back via PayPal and ChnLove banned me from the site.

Does it look familiar to you? Yes, it's the original image that chnlove superimposed a Chinese woman's face on to.

Let's look at it this way, if you want to date physically, you would need to constantly send her gifts, take her to places and pay her bills but here all you need is to subscribe and keep in touch. This is a little more flexible form of relationship to me. But like the like physical dating, you need to be able to accept failure and be patience too. But the good part is that you know what you want and you go head-on for it (through profile details) unlike when you meet a lady on the way and hope she is what you want.

This site is just a mirror of the companies other sites, all scams.
Switch over to one of the other sites associated with this one, the chat pop ups will use the same tired old lines.
Just another attempt to get your money.
If you looking for Asian woman, it will cost you less money to use Cherry Blossoms (blossoms.com), it has a subscription fee which includes unlimited chat and e-mails.
Unlike this site that charge you to chat b the minute and fro each letter.
Be warned though, most woman on all dating sites are scammers, it takes time to actually find a decent one.

I am thankful every single second of every single day for this site and how it changed my life. Mei has completed me in a way that I never thought possible and I am blessed that she chose me to spend the rest of her days with. We are incredibly different yet remarkably the same all at the same time and I think this site knew we would complement one another well. We enjoy telling people how we met and inspiring others to try and find their perfect match as well. We are happy and in love and we want others to be too!

I have been on this site for over a year, a couple of times I bought some points to try to get something going through email. Not sure why since it has become increasingly obvious that the girls are not real.

They are all perfect, sometimes tho if you flip through their photos fast, you will notice on some of the series with same background just slightly different pose, that body parts change shape and size. Other photos have heads with skin tones that just do not match the bodies, and are not quite the right size either... other than the size being wrong its easy convince yourself its just the makeup that changes the skin tones. The photoshopping is pretty good in other words haha.

The chat requests is another clue that I am not dealing with a real person either. On Charmdate, I get 100+ chat requests within the first 20 seconds of being logged in. I find it hard to believe even one real person could successfully send a chat request to someone they just saw appear online within 20 seconds. Says automated to me, but there are other clues that it is automated as well. Often 2 or 3 of the requests in a row will have the exact same off the wall sentence and punctuation, and be from 3 different "ladies"... coincidence... rather doubt it. The number of requests skyrockets to 3 or 400 within the first minute. Perhaps I look like a sucker?

If you met your match through the Qpid network, well kudos to you, I rather doubt most men will, including myself. As I said I made a couple attempts, but nothing came of it... just rather ridiculous un-related responses to previous communication.
