I have been booking with them for the last 5 years for my company. And now the problem start. I always booked with insurance. When I had issue with one of my employees that he get a car accident and he couldn't fly, i called them to claim my insurance that covered. And the support told me I have to call another company to claim it and they cannot do nothing for me. I called that company and no answer just follow an online claim. Terrible service and I recommend to book directly on the airlines becasue they are more professional and they can give you better quality of service and insurance.

I paid nearly $1000 for a round trip flight from the US to Barcelona and the Mediterranean. When COVID initially hit, they canceled my flights as all airlines did, but when I asked for my money back they said they can't and won't accommodate, but they'll "allow' me to reschedule at a later date when called back to reschedule, they kept me on hold for HOURS, dropped my call, I called back again and waited for hours again when I finally connected to a rep, they were super unprofessional and rude, I explained that I wanted to reschedule they said the ticket has no longer has value and just like that the STOLE my money. This is unacceptable, I'll certainly make complaints to the BBB and Department Of Transportation and will not stop until they make it right. I can't imagine how many more people they did it to, total consumer abuse, appalling and shameful.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
