I want to share the terrible experience I've just gone through so others don't fall into the same trap.
I booked my flight through Cheapflyshop, and their agent promised that my ticket would be confirmed within 24 hours. After waiting and calling them repeatedly, I was finally told that I must pay more money to secure the same flight or choose another one.They then claimed the amount they initially charged me was only a "soft charge", even though I was told the booking was confirmed. It has now been two days, and I am still without a ticket and have to look for flights again.In my experience, this seems to be their way of attracting customers with low prices and later asking for extra payment after taking your money.It based on what I've been through, I would never, ever recommend booking with Cheapflyshop.

Cheapflyshop is an absolute disgrace to the travel industry and operates in a highly unethical manner. I booked a flight through them, paid the advertised price in full with my credit card, and even received a confirmation email showing my booking was secured. However, the very next day they contacted me claiming that the flight I had already paid for was "no longer available" unless I agreed to pay an additional £300. This is nothing short of blackmail — they lure customers in with false prices, take your money, send you a confirmation to make it seem legitimate, and then pressure you into paying more afterwards. It feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch scam designed to trap people once they think their travel plans are finalized. No reputable company should operate like this. They did not honor the original price I paid, and instead tried to force me into handing over more money after already charging my card. This kind of dishonest and predatory behavior should not be tolerated in the travel industry. I will never use them again and strongly warn others to avoid falling into the same trap.

Absolute rip off merchants, I booked a flight and then they telephoned me next day to tell me the flight had gone up by £350, and that the flights i booked were not available. I argued and argued with them but all they said was its the best deal out there.
I paid with my debit card so i thought they would be no way i could get my money back. WRONG I approached my banks and told them i hadnt received goods i paid for, They immediately recalledthe payment, Dont let these cowboys rip you off. Ive put in a complaint to the travel trust association and civil aviation authority...

Scammers they told you your one-way flight is confirmed but the other way is not confirmed so please pay more totally scammers I recently had a very disappointing experience with CheapFlyShop that I feel compelled to share. Initially, I was drawn in by their low prices, but I quickly discovered that it was too good to be true. Upon booking my flight, I received a confirmation email, but when I went to check in, I found that my reservation had been canceled without any notification from the company. After several attempts to reach their customer service, I was met with long wait times and unhelpful representatives who seemed disinterested in resolving my issue. To make matters worse, I noticed unauthorized charges on my credit card from CheapFlyShop after this experience, which further solidified my belief that they are running a scam operation. I had to dispute the charges with my bank, adding even more frustration to an already stressful situation. I strongly advise others to avoid CheapFlyShop. It's not worth the risk of losing your money and experiencing the headache of dealing with their unreliable service. There are many reputable flight booking platforms out there—choose one of them instead!

This is a total scam, they post cheap tickets but once u pay they tell u it's on waiting list and NOT CONFIRMED. So to confirm u must pay a higher fare, to get a refund is a nightmare lucky I booked with a visa credit card, NOT debit... absolutely disgusting behaviour, total waste of time they post up fake positive reviews to draw u in. #NeverAgain

Terrible experience
Bought 2 tickets $6k plus.
Only to be told they were not available and it would take 3 weeks to maybe receive unless I spent another
$2k to go a longer route ha ha...Note this was only one ticket 2 flights and we had not even talked about the other flight.
Christopher...not his real name im sure... was calling from India...said he would call back within 12 hours...Of course nothing happened.
I tried to contact them...There advertisement says 24/7 No one in 3 countries answered the phone...even the website customer service address was mis leading no reply.
Finally after 5 days contact was made via email...Not a good look by them

It's a scam. I want to warn everyone don't book this website. I're booked my flight on 1/02/25 and got an email that they will send the tickets by 48 hours and we'd check the conditions after got an email that carry on bag only 7kg. Then I tried to cancel and they want to charge me £197 per person. I told them leave it then. I've got a missed call on 2/02/25 tried to ring them back 2 times for 20 minutes each time but no answer. They rang me back on 4/02/25 again and told me my flight was stand by and got another option for me to change to the next day. I asked them that you charged me already b why's my flight is on stand by. I told them I don't want to change my flight because I booked my hotel and my holiday already. Im not stupid I told them I need my money back and have to be full refund then I hang up the phone. On the 5/02/25 2 of the staffs rand me again talked about the problem the day before and I told the first caller that I'm not talking to all of you about changing any flight, I need my money back and he told me he will refund for me in 7-10 working days and another phone call asked the same and I told her the same thing and I asked how long my money will refund to my account and then she said in 1 hour. I told them to send me an email to prove it as well. So fick off the website. I will report to all of organisations about this website. 🤬🤬🤬 FICK (Do not give you fake full name when you talk to customers because we're recognised from all staffs accents and no name when you sent us the emails. It's unprofessional)

Please try to avoid cheap fly shop to book tickets. When search it will show a price and once you paid, they cant issue ticket. They will call and ask you extra money or try to change date to book another ticket. If you say that you want the exact ticket, they will say its only confirm the day of the travel and asked to change your mind and also asked did you read our term and conditions. If the ticket not booked, if you ask refund they will say after the flight date only we can confirm and also it takes 35 days to refund.
I don't personally think its genuine way to deal and issue tickets. Please better avoid this cheap fly shop and use other sites.

They are scammers do not buy a airline ticket with these scumbags
They will rip you off
When you buy the tickets they are pending and they will ring you to tell you it doesn't include luggage
They wanted another $800 I of course refused
They say it's none refundable but that's ridiculous when the ticket wasn't even booked with Emirates

Do not trust it they catch you with lower price and never give you a confirm ticket and then ask you for more money for confirmation and saying we will put you in main cabin don't trust them give you very expensive tickets even more money than airline I had very bad experience never book from them it's scam they just trick people

I booked air ticket with different of approx. £200 with other trusted online websites, they called us after 48 hours and demand more money and they refused to refund, after long chase said report to police able to get my money back.

Booked flight ticket £120 cheaper than other websites, but did notice that it says hand luggage 7kgs. Looked for check in baggage allowance, it did not show up anywhere, but assumed that the airline gives 23kgs as standard. They don't issue e-ticket for upto 48 hours. These both are the real catches.
Immediately called them up and ar****les demanded £250 for one check in! Sick! Bargained for 200 and paid. Eventually, paid almost 100 more! How foolish.
If I would have waited for another 48 hours for the e-ticket, the price for the check in baggage would have gone upto 400+!

Never book with these cheap bas*** and if you book accidentally, check airline extra baggage, that might work cheaper than what they charge extra.

Cheapflyshop are a complete scam.

Here's their process:
1) They place ads on aggregators and online sites with suspiciously cheap flight prices that state they include check-in luggage.
2) After you purchase, their email confirmation will show that the tickets are actually cabin luggage only. These flight tickets don't actually exist but you won't find that out until it's too late.
Remember that at this stage, the tickets aren't confirmed... they just state that they have received your order. Their terms state they don't have to confirm the ticket until mere days before the actual flight.
3) A few things can happen after you receive that email:
A) If you accept that you don't need check-in baggage, then they will contact you a couple days after your money has been taken. They will tell you that the cheap flight isn't available and then force you to pay an extra amount (usually a few hundred) if you want real flight tickets. These will always be priced higher than other agencies.
B) If you do want to change to a check-in luggage flight, then you will contact them. In this instance, they will again tell you that you need to pay more in order to do this. Again, the price will be higher than other sites.
4) Now, if you do pay the additional fees and then change your mind to try to get your original flights, they will tell you that those tickets are no longer available... even if it was 5 minutes ago. This happens because those original flight tickets never existed.

Incredible that this company is still going. Take a look at their US site reviews cheapflyshop.com and you'll see similar. It's the same scam artists that are now operating as a.co.uk site too.

Avoid like the plague, they shouldn't be allowed on any aggregators/metasearch/online sites and hopefully they won't be around for long.

Posting this so that hopefully it appears in searches and helps others, as a vulnerable family member was scammed by these clowns, and it seems they have been operating for years, since at least 2018 in their current form.

Cheapflyshop is a scam website run out of India advertising cheap airfares. Their parent company is registered in the UK as Emeia Travel Mart Ltd, UK company number ******* at a suburban semi-detached house in Middlesex. The addresses used for Cheapflyshop itself are virtual offices. Kunal Goer, Nikhil Mohan and Jasper Kaul are registered on their UK company registration with Akash Prashad in place of Jasper Kaul for their Indian operation EMEIA TRAVEL MART PRIVATE LIMITED based in Faridabad - ******* - Haryana - India.

Ignore all the fake 4 and 5 star reviews - read the 1 star reviews.

Their scam goes like this:

You search on their site for flights and select them, then fill out a form with your contact details, and/or call or email them.

You speak/email with customer service to 'book' flights and arrange payment.

Then they send a 'booking confirmation' email with their own booking reference number, no ticket has actually been purchased for you.

Within 1-2 days you will receive a call stating your originally requested flights are no longer available at the price you purchased and you need to pay extra. If you press for a refund they attempt to strongarm you by quoting BS terms and conditions. If you pay extra to secure the flight they may actually buy you a legitimate ticket, but will then try to add extra for 'luggage' and 'meals' or whatever else they think they can scam you with.

They make the refund process almost impossible, or attempt to charge you a refund fee.

Cheapflyshop and Emeia Travel Mart Ltd have been reported to the authorities on numerous occasions and continue to operate with impunity. Cheapflyshop and Emeia Travel Mart Ltd are scammers, do not purchase or book through them.

Customer care called me that Emirates ticket is without any luggage, without any meal and without any seat and they charged credit card £3521. Also I knew that it is scam, i said that it is ok, issue the ticket. Then another excuse, your ticket is on standby and we will only confirm if seats are available or we will allocate the reservation in next available flight. I said that it is not mentioned in terms and conditions. They are totally scammer, if customer in UK are no aware of the rights then they will fleece money. Fortunately i know that i can raise the dispute and i can make them to refund since they are not providing the tickets on the dates requested, i 'll ask if any one has same problem, please contact card provider for dispute and refund.

I booked a £480 Economy ticket with Cheapflyshop, only to be told later that no baggage was included and I needed to pay an extra £406, totaling £886! The ticket wasn't even confirmed, yet they refused a refund and wasted my entire evening. By the time they refunded, flight prices had increased.

This is a scam and utterly unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and avoid Cheapflyshop at all costs.
