Wanted to use up gift cards. With extra on credit card. Ordered several shoes, the most expensive pair never sent. Asked why was credit card still charged since overage for that pair was more than amount of credit card. Then kept saying they will look into and get back in 24-48 business hours, which is such poor business. It's been two weeks and despite calling them, no one has called me back. I'm disputing my credit portion although it is still not covering the cost of shoes they decided not to send. These idiots in customer service couldn't care less about customer.

Horrible Online Order

I used to buy my jeans there, so I was given a $50 gift card for christmas. They only sell skinny jeans now, so I ended up ordering other items online, including a pair of boots. The boots I ordered ended up being canceled after I already paid for them. I would normally be very forgiving, however they only reimbursed by gift card and not the additional money I paid through paypal. So, I was no longer getting the boots I wanted and I was out $10. I called and emailed customer service several times about the refund and each time they seemed to understand my situation but they never had the ability to authorize the refund nor was a manager ever present. All very convenient so nothing ever happened with the refund. However, I did order some things from the website and I was looking forward to those items arriving. When my order did arrive it was in two separate packages, which I didn't think much of at the time. Oddly, UPS wanted me to pay at the door for shipping ( around $9). I have never had to do this before and I know that my order qualified for free shipping but I rummaged around my house trying to find cash and eventually borrowed money from my boyfriend to pay the UPS guy standing in my doorway. It turns out that Charlotte Russe sent duplicates of all of the items I ordered and the postage they printed off was also a duplicate. I contacted Charlotte Russe for a refund for shipping and they told me to take it up with UPS. This is way too many mistakes for one online order. However, I returned the duplicates items to the store and got store credit. I shouldn't have been surprised at this point when they didn't give me a cash refund at the store despite all of the clothes having the original tag and providing the package slip as my receipt. The only good thing is that store credit was worth more than the $20 they owed me but I certainly wasn't spending that store credit online.

I ordered 4 pairs of shoes for a buy one pair get the 2nd for $10 promo on Dec 16,2013. My order was shipped on Dec 22 but one pair was out of stock and was cancelled. I was upset and called customer service because the shoe that was out of stock was still showing as in stock online, the rep said the warehouse does not always update correctly so I could reorder but there was a chance it would be out of stock. If that wasn't hassle enough I would have to pay full price for the shoe and call back to get it price matched to $10, they did upgrade my shipping to overnight for this pair. This was the only pair of shoes I received! The tracking information never updated for the original order, I believe it was never shipped as fedex never said it received the shipment. I called back on Dec 31 and was told to call back on Jan 2 which would be 10 business days after shipment and they could then give me a refund or reship. On Jan 2 the rep told me they had reshipped the package but had no tracking number, it seemed very suspicious! She told me to call back on Jan 7,10 business days from the date it was reshipped. I called back on Jan 7 and was finally given a refund and was told the 10th business day would have been Jan 3 which makes me believe the previous rep had lied to me about my order being reshipped. Overall this was a big hassle, I ordered these items as xmas gifts and they never arrived. I know the holidays are a busy shipping time but I can't help but feel there is some serious shadiness going on at charlotterusse.com! Beware!

The site isn't bad, it has good discounts and everything, items arrive on time (sometimes) and in great conditions. I would say that the description is poor but understandable. I like the site, but I'd love if they have more variation in clothing and fashionable stuffs. Again, the site isn't bad, it may be just that for my taste they don't have a lot of variety. But you should try it and see how it works for you.

Worst website ever
December 30, 2013

Worst website ever. Cant even send an email to complain. I ordered a gift card on the 6 of december, have not received it yet, also was supposed to be free shipping over 65 dollars, and they charged me. They keep changing the delivery dates, and they didnt sent it out until the 15. Crappy all around.

I ordered a jacket online at the beginning of December. A few days after I placed my order, I checked the estimate shipment date online. It told me that my package would arrive on the 17th of December. The 17th arrived without a package as well as another estimated date online. The arrival estimate went from saying the 17th to N/A. After waiting a few more days, I contacted Charlotte Russe. They gladly refunded my shipment cost which was nice and told me that the package would arrive at the latest of the 27th. The package never came. I called and they could not order me another of what I wanted because they were out of the size I wanted. My guess is they were out of my size when I ordered the jacket to begin with. He said he would give me a 10% discount coupon and apologized HA. I then just asked for a refund which takes 5-10 business days. Do not order online from this company.

I just ordered 7 items off of Charlotte Russe last night... All of the bad reviews are scaring me into thinking I should have gone to the store, but I would have to deal with people instead of being in my pajamas. This is my first time ordering with Charlotte Russe but my mom goes there often and has ordered there and gotten everything she ordered. Hopefully it works out for me...

I've ordered other items from Charlotte Russe before and never had any issues. This time, I ordered two pairs of boots as they were buy one pair at regular price, get one for $5. A couple days later, I received an email stating that the one pair of boots had been cancelled. The only reason I was buying the boots was to get the two pairs for reg. Price plus $5. I wish I could have received a voucher or an option to replace the others. Not cool.

Ordered 8 items. 5 days later 7 items from my order shipped, 1 item was sold out. When it finally arrived I received 4 items that I did NOT order & 0 items that I did order! That had sent me the wrong order! After calling customer service & waiting 30+ minutes to speak to someone & then getting put on hold for another 20 minutes I'm told they made a mistake & the 7 items that were supposed to of shipped are ALL sold old! Then they were actually stupid enough to ask if I'd like to order some other items!?! Uh NO THANKS! U screwed up the first order big time & have very poor customer service! Now 2 days before christmas eve, an incoming snow storm & no gifts for my niece! Plus 4 of the items I'd originally ordered are indeed still "in stock" on their site. And for what it's worth the wrong items I did receive are cheap, ugly & useless to me.
I highly do NOT RECOMMEND SHOPPING WITH CHAROLETTE RUSSE. This was my first experience & will definitely be the last.

Definitely a one star at Christmas time. I order three pairs of boots on tuesday 12/10 and just this morning received the shipping confirmation email and an email stating that two of the pairs of boots I ordered were sold out and cancelled. Really? If a pair of shoes is sold out they should take it off the website asap. I was counting on those to be christmas gifts! So I decided to order two other pairs of boots, just now I checked those same boots on the website and one of them is not sold out in the size I ordered it. I called cust service asking if there was a risk that my part of my order was going to get cancelled again and they couldn't give me an answer. They told me to wait for any emails. This is ridiculous!

I placed a order to the Charlotte Russe website about oh 13 days ago and I still have no tracking number which means it hasn't even been shipped out yet! This company needs to get it together, I LIVE IN THE U. S they say it should only take 4-5 days to get your products. Lets just say I am never ordering from Charlotte Russe ever again. Worst experience ever.

This online company is the worse. I placed my order on 12/02. I emailed the company and was told my order would be shipped within 4-5 Business days. Okay cool. I chatted with the company online and was told by an agent all the orders for 12/02 has already been shipped out and he doesn't know where my order is. I decided to call and was told by the agent that no the orders have not been shipped out and she couldn't give me a timeframe because there warehouse is backed up. This is ridiculous and it is 12/12 and I still don't have a tracking number. I will never order in the future

I ordered my items on december 3rd and they haven't even shipoed yet! Its December 11th now. And all of my orders from other sites made the same day as charlotte russe have already arrived! If You plan on wearing anythin you order from charlotte russe within a month of your purchase online you might want to plan a backup outfit. Because the wait time is absolutely rediculos! Still waiting on my tracking number as well. But I'm sure my clothes haven't even shipped out yet.

I ordered something about 2 weeks ago and all of a sudden I'm notified that I won't be getting 2 of the items that I ordered... but they refunded my total, so I was like okay. But for my Christmas present, my boyfriend just decided to give me the clothes I wanted so I was excited because Charlotte Russe has the best deals and I love their clothes, turns out that they charged my boyfriend 138 for nothing, because for one, It didn't confirm my order, 2, it constantly told me that I had to validate his card, which I did... TWICE. And its just such a mess. Unless you want to be stressed the f*** out, then I recommend to not use this site.

Got ripped off on this one, one pair of boots not in stock for the buy one and get 2nd at $10 (even though site said they were in stock) but had no problem sending me the one pair they had... will not send me another pair for $10. Customer service said there site wasnt updated when we ordered, so while I was chatting with them I looked up same exact pair and they still showed in stock... hmmm, rip off? So instead of getting my two pairs of boots for $60 I got one pair for $50... I am returning them to the store and will NOT deal with them in any way in the future, terrible customer service. They also told me to order another pair and when they ship that I should call them and they will price match them at $10, yea I almost believe that one

This is the worst online shop that ive tried! I ordered last october 7, and until now my package havent arrived yet, it was stated in their site that i will get my package within 24 business days but until now it havent arrive yet. They have lots of excuses. Ive ordered 12 items worth 208$ including the shipping fee. Im so disappointed. I will never ever order here again

Worst customer service EVER. They lost my order and spent 10 days giving me the run around before I was allowed to even discuss a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Plus their clothes are wicked cheap. TOTAL RIP OFF!

I generally don't review websites that I order from just because they are all average. This website is absolutely amazing to order from though! I can never find what I want in store at Charlotte Russe so I order online from them all of the time and the shipping time is incredible! I literally will make an order one day and by the end of the day I get an email saying the product has shipped and it arrives 3 days later. This is at standard shipping, mind you, and that is just unheard of to me! (I usually wait at least a week if not more than that from other sites) I will continue shopping online from their website for sure!
