Purchased a 3800W dual fuel generator w/ electric start through Amazon for a backup for my off-grid home. It produces "dirty" power about about 800 W and my charge controller disconnects it. It is unusable. When briefly connected it causes problems with electronics, leds, refrigerator, phones, etc. It has now been about two years from purchase and I have wasted a lot of time and money trying to get the gen fixed or my money back. The so-called warrantee people make you jump through hoops (perform tests, etc). They sent me to a servicer who after two months, cleaned the carb and charged me $100 (not covered by warrantee). I was finally told by service that this model was not for off-grid and also recommended to not use duel fuel by service agent (not shown on advertisements). I have requested my money back and they have ignored me. Overall I have lost over $800 and lots of time and the gen has caused me problems in my off-grid rental. Check Amazon for other people with problems with their non-existent warrantee. Note the response to my complaint from Champion. So I should change my top-rated Outback Equipment to accommodate their crappy generator?

This is the second Champion generator I bought. During the last hurricane we were without electricity for 10 days and my champion kept me running a small air conditioner, fans and lights with no trouble. It was a duel fuel running on gasoline and butane. I now bought a larger model to also run on natural gas.

I bought a 5500w Champion inverter generator that died after few hours of running.
I've spent weeks calling Champion to get a return authorization from corporate. I would never buy or recommend buying Champion product unless you're willing to go through hell returning their worthless crap. I never dealt with such horrible customer service.

I liked this unit because it was easy to assemble. The best part i liked was that i only needed to press a button to start the generator. Also liked the multiple outlets. Bought the 30 amp cord to run into house and then extension cords to freezer and refrigerators.

Generator is easy to start, move around, fill gas tank, change oil, cover for storage, instructions are easy to follow.

This Tiller is very powerful and reliable and gets the job done without much effort. I hope to get many good years of service out of this product and would definitely recommend to friends and family!

I assembled the unit without any problems and it started after a few pulls. It runs perfectly and has plenty of power, I cannot tell the difference between this and my 3200 psi Karcher pressure washer. This is my first purchase of a Champion product and the overall build quality of the machine is very good.

Assembly was easy. Easy to fill oil. Great instructions. The generator runs great. Easy to maintain.

Looks great.started pretty' fast.power went out. And my sump pump did not work. It going to be stuck again

Runs great. Easy start and quiet. Main use is for power outage. Convenient for storage uses very little space.

My new champion 3500w generator is fantastic...great quality...the only thing I saw was if u do t remove screen filter wen filling with gas...the gas sputters out all over everything within 2 feet.
