I use to wake up and be interested in watching the morning news on CBS, loved loved loved the cast. It was the first thing I did when I opened my eyes. Since the cast changed, I've tuned it maybe 25% of the time and every single time I end up turning it off before the show ends... very disappointed. The new cast is terrible, unnatural and misinformed. I wake up watching a different morning news now until they change the cast.
There is never an occasion for an impartial report where it is not seized and twisted to your corporate opinions. I am able to listen and ignore your views and separate the facts but at a cost to both of us. Nora O'Donnell is so blatant it doesn't seem it would be in your best interest to have her as Anchor. I am tired of Fox too. Why can't you get smart and serve we Moderates?
Until recently my morning started with Gayle, Norah and John $#*!erson. Combined with a nice strong cup of coffee or two it was all I needed to start my morning. Of course I had the option of watching the news on my cell. Old habits, however, when they work, do not beg for change.
It was all I needed... news news and more news delivered not at breakneck speed by bullying male anchors vying for position as top dog on the network.
Gayle King of old shone, she put a human face to the hard delivery of Norah and John. But it was news. News delivered with precision, authority and compassion. Nora and John kept Gayle in check and Gayle challenged them. Now we have a bunch of rogue males rushing to deliver "news" so that they have time to share uninteresting facts with me.
I have moved on
Please stop with Robert Mueller, Daniel's, Comey, the wall, Mexico, and all other Trump related news in regards with these figures. How many times are you going to repeat the same thing over and over and over. No one cares about Mueller or anyone you guys report on. When a decision is made for a person to go to jail or etc then broadcast it other then that this is so annoying and depressing watching this every morning.
Broadcast health, science, local issues around NYC or NJ, issues around the world or something.
I know this message is going no where but thought I give it a shot.
Such a waste of news
I watched this morning show because of the news coverage and great conversation. What happened? Since Norah and John have left the show is not the same. Change back the way they sit, all bunched up on one side of the table looks odd. Of all the people to keep, Gayle is the least credible regarding hard hitting news. No way should she be the lead on this program. Disappointing how far this show has fallen in my view, I hope you get it together soon or I will no longer watch.
Really, blue and yellow, also? The reason I watched your program was for the News delivery in the morning. So disappointing to see you trying to duplicate someone else than stand on your own as you started out a few years ago. I hope you make some quick changes soon to get back to your originality. Which channel are you tuned into anyway?
It used to be "the news is back in the morning". Now we get a bunch of guffawing chitchat. I hate everything about it. It is so apparent that CBS is trying to make the show into Good Morning America
Ms. King doesn't belong on CBS. I feel sorry for the 2 token white boys. We tried watching and quit. The show Has people no one cares about. Little or no news only biased opinion.
Ms. King isn't worth 11 million smackers. The producers are not much to crow about.

I never really liked Gail King. I think she is left wing biased and showed it repeatedly. Her leanings were clear as she interacted with her co-anchors. Looking forward to Noras evening role and wish Jeff Glor could share somehow. He seemed very fair and accurate in his reporting without opinions etc. Back to OAN for the real truth news 24/7.
All the way around these guys are absolutely uneducated idiots. Just go read some of the articles they write or watch tv. I just read an article about how cbs news claims a "slide fire stock" for an ar15 actually turns the weapon from semi automatic, into a fully automatic weapon. Do they even know how stupid they sound? A slide for stock does not switch the firearm from semi automatic mode to fully automatic mode as they claim. What's funny Is ready the more recent articles on their. Absolute dummies. Haha they must be Democrats or liberals... oh you know they study core curriculum, and attempt to abort babies at home hahaha!
I like CBS in the morning with the new faces, and they need to bring the great things that are happening in our Nation to the table! Loved the interview with the Dad and son in Fort Bragg! "Wake to a great Day"!
We've Always watched CBS this morning. It was the least biased of all the morning shows.
Now, they laugh, joke and play music in the background while "trying" to report the headlines. They talk over each other and don't let their guest finish their thoughts, especially if there're conservative. It just appears that they are trying to become "Entertainment Tonight" in the morning.
Sorry, this format is a complete FAILURE. Please trash this plan and start again.
I have always watched CBS Morning News because the anchors' delivery was always professional. What happened in such a short time? It has become such a LOUD show with the anchors laughing and talking over each other. Anthony's continued loud laugh makes me shudder. The severe change is appalling! Now, I have to try to find another professional newscast, if one is out there. Someone do something FAST to get this ship righted...
Ugh. This was the one spot in the morning that I could count on for substantive, unbiased reporting of the news of the day. No longer. The sugar coated drivel dished up each day puts my teeth on edge. I'm done. Show is awful.
The CBS Morning show has continued to decline since the departure if Charlie Rose.
I can not continue to watch this ham-fisted, funk-ified version of the morning news.

Today Show, here I come.
The degradation of this program is so disappointing. I don't want light fluff. I want real news, which I used to get. If I wanted to hear all the opinions I could watch The View. I'm switching.
I always watched nothing but CBS. Then yesterday a new segment bring your own news, I thought what. I always watched for the goid news, it's only about ratings now. And Gayle puts her two cents comments in way too much. They did a dirty deed getting rid of Nora, and John. I'm sick of them screwing up a good program just for ratings. I'm switching news programs.
This morning (5/16/19) I read a news article about the abortion bill in Alabama. Whether your views on abortion, this particular article was labeled:
"Alabama just criminalized abortions and every single yes vote was cast by a white man"
So why CBS does it matter if white men voted on this bill? Why does your writer have to point this out? Why is it important to highlight this fact?
If it wasn't bad enough, the article goes on to contridict itself at the end by saying all of the Republican women voted in favour of the bill too. Not only is your writer on the $#*!ation level of Rian Johnson, you are blatantly sexist for attacking white men over nothing.
You got it all wrong. Get rid of Gayle and keep the rest of the news staff. Gayle is incredibly annoying and overly opinionated.
I know Jeff Glor is a talented journalist
However I do not feel he is comfortable
As anchor of the CBS EVENING NEWS. I, myself, depend on CBS for an adaquate synopses of the days most important news. I am stunned at the number of Trump lovers wrote negative reviews about CBS. THEY are what is wrong with our country... INCLUDING THEIR PRESIDENT. I love CBS MORNING. Nora, Gail and Charlie (I'M KIDDING!) are the best. Keep up the good work. CBS rules and is THE best network hands down.
