Bad customer service
April 30, 2023

Their policy is no refunds. So if you request a last minute sitter and you are not compatible, you are out of luck. I posted at 7:30, it was accepted hours later, I chatted with the sitter. I cancelled less than two hours later. I got charged a surprise twenty something fee. Why pay a membership? Also I cancelled less than two hours after the sitter accepted. Although, even if it was five minutes later, it doesn't matter, their policy is no refunds. Plus when I asked for the number to customer service, they refused to give it to me. They told me to look at my bank statement.

Leading people to believe the service is a certain price and then letting them know about $65 background checks after they type their credit card info is deceiving. Also, I'm assuming you run the background check the first time someone uses the caregiver, so I would think a new background check wouldn't need to be run every time

I am looking for a full-time nanny, but most of the suggested applicants are only available part time or for babysitting. Babysitting and nanny positions should be in separate categories or at least have a full time filter.

It seems rather scammy and opaque regarding required fees. Websites that keep offering additional tack-on purchases during the checkout process typically don't represent morals I align with. Time will tell if the service is worth it.

I used the site to find someone to help clean my house. I've found it easy to use and hired a really good housekeeper. My house has never been so clean. The chat feature on their Help Center was very useful when I had questions too. Great service that I'd recommend!

Deceptive marketing

Deceptive marketing. Premium said it offered background checks then the first thing you do is ask me to pay extra for backgroundchecks? I almost feel like I should submit a charge back on my credit card - I paid for a service only to be told I need to pay more for that service. I'm wondering what other features I "bought" with premium aren't actually there.
