While on my cell phone I tried upgrading as I am in dire need of immediate care for my son. I entered everything correctly over and over again and it kept saying there was an issue with one thing or another. I got on my friends laptop and entered all of the same stuff and it worked to upgrade it. This is a very stressful moment for myself and for this to not work under stress is upsetting.

The background check + security option, and all options should be offered when selecting/paying for the subscription to allow the promo code discount to apply. Only showing options afterwards + not allowing the promo code/discount to be applied feels like the discount code itself is misleading. "applies site wide..."
