Canvasonsale provides a crappy canvas product that isn't even a true canvas material that feels more like plastic and the ink chips off easily. The product I received had numerous defects from poor color matching, bad construction with staples sticking out and the canvas itself was overstretched on the wooden frame which distorted the picture.

Their customer service is terrible when it comes to receiving a refund. BE WARNED they flat out refuse to issue a refund unless you cut up your canvas first! Instead of paying for return shipping when a product is defective, they told me on more than one occasion: "Our normal procedure is to destroy the item without having to return and provide us with digital images in order for us to process a refund to the customer."

If you want a fast resolution, don't frustrate yourself dealing with their customer service by email or phone. Go straight to the Better Business Bureau (www.BBB.org) and file an online complaint for faster resolution. I've been told to expect a refund in 5 days.

Canvas straight out of the box was so poorly manufactured with a staple protruding along visible edge of canvas, canvas material that is folded over and stapled was left hanging over one side and visible, smudges along front of canvas, coloring was off, canvas pulled too tight on left edge causing picture to be wavy and misshapened, and chips of paint were missing around the edges. I followed the return policy exactly as outlined on their website and the company confirmed the defects via submitted photos and told me not to return the canvas. However, after 18 emails back and forth they REFUSE a refund until I cut through the canvas and send a picture of the destroyed canvas. "We keep our word cutting the canvas is standard procedure for us if you are looking for a refund. If we do not receieve the picture of the destroyed canvas then we are not able to process a refund at this time." I have submitted a complaint with BBB and refuse to destroy a canvas I have currently paid full price for until I have received a refund for it should they not keep their word and never provide the refund. Then I would be out the money and only have a cut and defective canvas to show for it. No reputable company would hold a refund ransom under such circumstances. And no where in their legal terms and conditions fine print for refund policy does it state the cutting a canvas is standard procedure to receive a refund.

I initially contacted this company on 4/22/16 to let them know if my issue below. I recently bought a canvas gift for a family member who lives in another state. I bought the canvas late last year and am actually visiting them this weekend which is when I noticed the canvas gift I had ordered for them had gotten pretty messed up. I paid for this by purchasing a Groupon deal which I paid $49.99 for and then I had to pay an additional amount when I picked out the canvas I wanted on the canvasonsale. My main concern is that there are large white stripes which go across the canvas and cover the beautiful art work. These white stripes almost ruin the picture. It is just a shame because they have not hung it up for this reason. I contacted the business to see if I could ship the canvas back to get it fixed or get a refund so I can order another, and they informed me no.

ZERO stars for quality and also for customer service. I found this company via Groupon. It sounded like a great deal so I purchased it. I had professional photos taken for which I purchased the disk and the copyright. I emailed one into Canvas On Sale and what I received was a canvas of my children looking like ghost figures. There is no color in the canvas, no sharpness, no life - just extremely poor quality. I tried calling the phone number they have posted on their website, *******415, and it just places you in a holding queue for 5-10 minutes before disconnecting the call entirely. Don't waste your money, they are a huge disappointment in both quality and customer service. Big Scam!

2/5/16 UPDATE: Once I posted my review, I was quickly contacted by Canvas On Sale. They remade my canvas in the exact same poor quality that lacked color and sharpness. I took pictures of their two canvas's alongside the same picture I ordered on canvas from Picture it on Canvas. The difference was so obvious. I emailed it to Canvas on Sale and requested a refund which they agreed to. I am happy I was able to get my money back but the entire experience spanned two months and I was unable to give the christmas gift of a canvas to my kids' grandparents. The cost between Picture it on Canvas and Canvas on Sale is comparable and you can also by Groupons for Picture it On Canvas so I will just stick with them in the future.

I ordered a 40x30 print from CanvasOnSale for Black Friday 11/2015 for $48 total. I had some trouble getting the code to work but it finally went through. Two weeks later I received the print and initially thought there was an issue with their printer. All the clouds in my image were washed out and details were completely lost in the print.

I emailed them and asked for a reprint per their policy. When I received the print 12/26 the image sent to me wasn't my image but some wintery scene. Terrible experience and now extensive spam emails for the same promotion.

This company is a joke. You don't have a review section, so I'm leaving this right here. Y'all have a deal going on with Groupon for the magic mugs. I ordered 3 through them. The original price on them as pictured above is $34.99 (the discount was for $6.99 each). It was even like that on the site. When I tried to check out, however, it bumped it to $39.99 leaving $5 after the Groupon coupon code. Since I have to pay separate shipping and handling (not a big deal), I wasn't paying the extra $5 per mug when I already purchased it. I tried to internet chat and email. I got a response 3 days later AFTER you guys changed the website to $39.99. (That is sneaky and dishonest) Thankfully Groupon responsed fast and took care of it. I ordered them with the correct price. They just came in today and look horrible. 2 of them are the magic mugs like they should be but the job was done horrible. You can see the picture right through the black and both mugs were horribly chipped at the bottom. The third one was a normal mug and it was def. Suppose to be another magic mug. I will never order from y'all again and I will make sure everyone I know knows the crappy job y'all did. Horrible service, horrible customer support, horrible experience all around.

The pictures were all I hoped they would be. All I did was attached a digital copy and they printed from that onto a canvas the size of my choosing. I had several different sizes made, and was extremely satisfied with all of them.
