CAMA - Conference worth experiencing.
September 11, 2018

The opportunity in attending, meeting and listening to other First Nation representatives and express their experiences with industry is invaluable. I look forward to attending CAMA 2018.

Eyes wide open
November 21, 2017

Meeting representatives from various Aboriginal communities was invaluable. Hearing individuals express their experiences associated with the persistent impacts of residential schools on entire communities (not simply those that were scooped) provided me with greater insight and will serve to inform my work moving forward.

Review by first time conference attendee
November 16, 2017

My conference attendance was my first time at a CAMA event and I found my attendance very beneficial. The topics were interesting and timely, the speakers provided new insights and the attendees had diverse perspectives.

CAMA Experience
November 16, 2017

CAMA was a rich experience full of various perspectives, and at times, passionate dialogue - a factor missing from most other conferences. The food was delicious and plentiful. MC was warm and hilarious. Networking was excellent and great to reconnect with old colleagues/friends. I would only encourage the panel discussions to have more dialogue with each other and banter, rather than the pre-planned Q&A - spontaneous discussion is more memorable.

An expensive trade show but good seminars.
November 16, 2017

Good panels and topics but I think it should be less expensive to have a booth at the show. There are some smaller vendors that would benefit by presenting their products and services.

October 25, 2017

Elize was great! However, I am truly irritated that I have to enter 100 characters to complete this survey. Really!?

Annii Roxanne, without our delegates, members and sponsors we just wouldn't have a Conference every year!

Disappointed
January 6, 2017

I was disappointed with the President's dinner, the price was high and they didn't even ask for our ticket, so anyone could've walked in. There wasn't as many vendors as in Vancouver. There were some delays.

We're sorry that you didn't enjoy the PNE dinner!
Unfortunately we had to limit the vendors in Ottawa because of space allocation.
CAMA relies on their sponsors to help keep the costs down for our delegates.
We hope that this year we will make up for it!

Dis-organized
January 6, 2017

As a sponsor and delegate I found this year to be very unorganized. I did not receive any information about the trade show until the day I was travelling to Ottawa, when I checked into the hotel they did not have any idea where things were happening, I had to leave everything for our booth in my truck. There was not much traffic at the trade show and in conversation with different people they didn't even know it was going on and as well it was not clearly identified. This has been my 4th CAMA and there was something really missing this year, hopefully next year in Toronto will be better.

Conference
January 6, 2017

Conference is low key and comfortable. It has relevant attendees, guests etc. the panel discussions could be sharpened somewhat, can drag on sometimes. The idea is good but needs good management and challenging questions that push the debate. Overall a good conference, one of the better ones that we attend.
