I registered with CanadaStartups.org as a referral from my bank branch manager. I wasn't approved for a loan via bank due to my credit but Canada Startups helped me find multiple government loan options that I applied to that count the business plan over my credit score more. A very helpful tool in funding, especially when u have bad credit and need all the help you can get.

Using the funding database was hard work. There is way too many options and for somebody not computer savvy, it gives me anxiety. However the experts working there really stepped it up and helped. They made it quite simple to find options. Thanks for that.

I like businesses however I'm too afraid of running my on business, so I just gain theoretical experience in order to understand what I can possibly face in future. I read plenty of business articles and this service jelpes me a lot because it publishes plenty of articles about startups. I don't think that I would run a startup because I prefer traditional approach to business. In my opinion, startup is a very risky idea, while the traditional business is intuitive clearer. This service is great for reading articles and various notes about business and it really helps me to gain experience.

Canada Startups was full of surprises in terms of what they offer. As a business owner, starting a new business, it is a challege by any means. They were quite helpful with the business plan write up process and planning our financial projections.
One key aspect they focus a lot on is connecting people with funding agencies. With regards to my business, this means a $******* wage support grant and a $******* loan for equipment and renovation. Very helpful and easy going provider.

Canada Startups helped us secure government funding when we were unable to get anything from BDC or Futurepreneur. Thank you for your persistence.

I signed up with Canada Startups after calling in to get info on grants and funding available. Government site wasn't helpful but these guys pointed me to the exact options available.

My only reason for the review would usually be to complain, but the service by far exceeded my expectations in every way.

This business is only intrested in your money, they will never provide you with actual real help. They will send you a copy and past PDF without dated links and claim they have done "work" for you. Even after I pointed out they have broken links in their "work" no response or apologies were made. After my Google review the threatened to close my account if I dodnt remove it or give them a positive review. They since emailed me saying my account is going to be closed. So now they took my money and refuse to continue helping me find funding. From my experience they are just scammers. I do not recommend them to anyone.

We used the platform to find funding from the government. Being from Ontario it's either go here or go there, when looking for funding. But it seems that nobody was able to help. After finding canadastartups and using the funding platform it seems that their experts actually guided us perfectly. Helped us find programs that we didnteven know existed. Our local mp said they don't exist - until we found the via canada startups. So sad that actual government doesn't care and that 3rd party providers have to step in to help. And thank god they do.
