I placed an order at By‑Esmee.nl and exercised my right of withdrawal within the legal period. According to EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers are entitled to a full refund after withdrawal. Instead, I was given: no valid return address within the EU, a return address in China (not allowed under EU law), multiple changing "offers" (15%, 30%, 50%, 75%) to avoid giving a full refund, vague and evasive communication, no physical address, no Google listing, no transparency. This behaviour is typical of dropshipping stores trying to bypass consumer protection laws. I strongly advise others to avoid this webshop.
