The product description does not match what was delivered. The refund cost money they didnt refund. Do not recomment!

I FOUND A YAMAHA KEYBOARD THAT WAS LISTED BY A PAWN SHOP, GOLD PAWN FROM WV. I PAID WITH PAYPAL AND RECEIVED A TRACKING NUMBER FROM UPS. THE TRACKING NUMBER SHOW THE PACKAGE GOING TO RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. MY LOCATION IS IN NORTH CAROLINA. STILL WAITING FOR UPS AND PAYPAL TO RECEIVE A REFUND

I purchased an item that was listed as "Like New". What I received was in fair cosmetic condition and it didn't work at all. This was from a shop (Pawn shop like the rest of the seller) that had many positive reviews.

Now I needed to return and item and get a refund. The only contact info was a direct mailto: to the Pawn Shop. No responses. I then shipped the item back (at my expense) and can't get a response or refund. Buya is completely out of the picture. Looks like I'll be contacting my credit card company.

But if I didn't shop at Buya I would have saved myself the time, hassle, and the cost to ship the item back.

I purchased a car amp and it needs to be repaired and missed a rca nut. They are not helping to have it returned or refunded

Signed up and bought a guitar tuner yesterday. Paid for it. All good… so I thought. This morning I tried logging in to check the status and get a message "account locked due to security reasons", and the item I bought is still available for sale on the site, despite having been paid for. No messages or email or anything from Buya to explain to me why my account has been locked?

I was trying buya.com for the first time. I was very disappointed that an item listed as "like new", was cancelled after 4 days the order was placed and the money was charged. Because according to the it was defective. How in the heel did they list it as new then? Definatelly save yourself a headache and disappintment. DO NOT BUY OR EVEN GIVE YOUR INFO TO THOSE PEOPLE. You''l get diarrhea afterwards. Too bad theres not a negative star to give them.

I put in an order through them for a laptop. This was to be a birthday present for a friend of mine. After a few days I noticed the payment had not gone through. No notice sent to me, btw. Checking the website, I found the order was listed as CANCELLED. There was nowhere on the website to contact BUYA. I contacted the original seller, and learned that BUYA itself had cancelled the order as "fraudulent" because the shipping and billing addresses had different zip codes!

Some of the dealers are charging a "HANDLING CHARGE" along with the shipping charge. I was charged an extra $20 for a handling charge. I did not notice it, as most dealers are pretty fair, until I paid. Shipping should have been less than $15. I was charged $35 with the handling fee.

I see a lot of folks giving Buya a bad rap, but they are blaming the platform for the merchants using it. I have never had a bad experience on Buya, but then I have paid attention to who I am buying from. Make sure that the seller has mostly positive feedback, a good return policy, and ask questions prior to purchase. Asking the seller a question can show you what kind of customer service experience you might have.

The crap they sell can be bought in china for 95% less money and it still aint worth buying i got a pressure washer hose had a hole in it and the motor just quit

Unfortunately I cant give it a zero rate! I bought a reciprocating saw from a store, it was supposed to be shipped within 3 days. After 5 days there was no indication of shipping. I called the store, they said they dont have the item anymore! I asked for refund, he claimed that they never received the money yet as they didnt ship, which made sense to me, telling me to contact the so called "customer service" of Buya, one named Michael said that Buya doesnt interfere in the deal and doesnt have my money. When I built up pressures on him he said agreed to refund the money and that I should give them 10 working days to receive it. AND THAT WAS MY MISTAKE, because at then I could have called my bank to retrieve the money back raising a fraud claim, but I didnt! After 12 working days I called them again, the same "Michael" replied but denied that he promised of any refund and that I should call the store again, of course what did I expect? He just needed time to pass so I wouldnt be able to retrieve the money.

Buya is like that big E auction site, but specifically for pawn shops. I had never heard of Buya before I found the XBox I wanted to get my son on there, and some of the reviews of the site were discouraging. But, like that big E site, you have to take note of who is selling. I was able to contact the seller directly and get a question answered. They were very helpful and I felt confident buying from them. I wasn't disappointed! The console arrived exactly as I expected and works great.

I purchased a Garmin nuvi 2589LMT. It doesn'tshows traffic data. Missing traffic receiver cable. In sellers listing stated "Complete Includes all cords, cables, connectors, and attachments as included by factory".
Despite buya.com's supposed policy of 7-day returns from its sellers this listing stated "no returns" (therefore no way to initiate a return online). But it is significantly NOT as described and both the seller and buya.com are not responding in a timely or effective fashion. I now had to open a dispute through Paypal (I WILL get my money back!). I really, really should have paid attention to the mostly poor reviews of buya.com. Live & learn I guess...
