Just another fake app/website for finding "love". They just want your money. More fake people. Don't waste your time!'nn
I've used Bumble on and off for 5 years with no issue. As soon as I decided to pay for premium features, I got blocked for no reason. I was kind and respectful to everyone and represented myself authentically. I'm unable to request a refund due to their policy, and they refused to provide any information as to why I was blocked. I've gone over their guidelines multiple times and am still confused how I violated any rules. So now I'm just out $50. Meanwhile, when I've received suggestive or explicit messages from men, they do nothing, and another friend of mine kept getting a photo taken down as "inappropriate" that's of her innocuously giving a male friend a piggyback. Like it's literally just two people goofing around, fully clothed, like middle schoolers? It makes no sense. Bumble is a supposedly feminist app that is actually deeply misogynistic, and from my reading it seems like they also discriminate against sex workers and people who are transgender. GROSS
I tried using bumble but my experience is they play with the algorithm. I did not receive matches when keeping it within 50 miles. After being on the site for about 2weeks your matches stop. My preference is to date within my race but only received photos of white males. Bumble to me is no different from all of the other dating sites. No good!
I started counting how many swipes I swiped, after I realized I was getting zero results. I swiped on literally every single female, for 8,000 swipes and have literally had zero responses. This seems statistically impossible at this point, because I'm good looking and well dressed. I'm starting to think their "Ai" is discriminating and illegally scamming me because I'm a young White Male. I've sent an email to Bumble, and haven't heard anything back. This is sincere truth, and I am extremely offended and hurt by this experience with Bumble.
After a friend accidentally pressed a button, resulting in me buying a Spotlight feature, worth £44.99, I contacted Bumble to make them aware of the mistake. All I got back was some robotic response saying it's in the Terms and Conditions and can't be rectified. I'm now going to be in rent arrears due to this, resulting in more stress at an already stressful time. I received no empathy at all. This is how they make their money. How ironic that a company trying to promote love, lacks compassion and any kind of humanistic response. If I could give them zero stars then I would.
Bumble has made several changes to it's app making it for the better. I can honestly say due to the change made, I think Bumble is a great app to meet someone. They have a great selection of very good looking men to choose from whereas other apps really seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel. Bumble has turned much more classy over the last couple of months when before they were quickly heading into the trashy category.
A+ for you Bumble! I would highly recommend this app to any single person wanting to no longer be single. In my opinion Bumble should hands down have the #1 dating spot in Google playstore for dating apps!
What a horrible experience. I do not recommend. The worst part was when they would not allow me to access my account, which I paid for in full, unless I agreed w/ their "values" supporting BLM. However you as an individual feel, you should never be forced to agree with a companies political views to gain access to a service that you paid for in full. I have cancelled... will never use or recommend again.
After swiping, swiping and swiping Right I couldn't get any response. The customer service ignored me. That app ripped me off.
I can't believe that I couldn't establish any conversation with some woman.
Only I ended up being molested by gay men when I already set up the app that I was a MAN looking for a WOMAN!.
Unfortunately I had to close my app because I felt stalked.
App unexpectedly stopped working IOS. Several emails and texts saying they were on it. No responses. Difficult to even find a way to send them issue message. Worst customer service ever.
Lots an lots of those onlyfan girls an basically mostly prostitutes. Starting a conversation asking how their day went with a response of buy my premium or something along the line of asking for credit card information like what? Deleted app after just 1 hour. Like most dating apps girls just scamming an selling them self's. Like your someone's daughter! But its 2020 I guess that's normal. I dont pay for $#*!. So not the app for me
I was blocked for talking about what I do for living. Apparently there were complaints for commercial behaviour! I mean I can swear on my life I talked about my job while I was getting to know people but I did not force anyone to spend money on anything. It's funny and stupid tbh! I never knew it is wrong to even talk about your bizz on bumble considering that there is bumble bizz in this app.
I'm not sure if bumble is struggling financially because of the current global situation but they have taken (like a few other dating apps) to misleading their customers in order to make a buck.
I have had a profile set up for a while. I have set my parameters to find a match to being within a few kms of my City. This cuts out a lot of over seas and distant match's, that imo, are generally a waste of time. Recently they added the boost' whereas if you pay a premium, you get to match with your secret admirers. Within a couple of days I had a dozen or so matches so I paid for the feature. I checked out my now uncovered list of secret admirers and was shocked to see that not one of them was in my City! They were scattered across the country and I believe a couple of them were not even in my country! I immediately contacted support (within 5 mins) asking for a refund on the basis that they had been disingenuous and had tricked me into paying for the subscription which is against consumer law in my country. They declined to refund me because I had agreed to the terms and conditions. Luckily, Apple agree to abide by consumer laws of my Country and have refunded me.
Bumble have been disingenuous and unscrupulous in their transaction with me and I would strongly recommend that people use one of the many dating apps that conduct business ethically. I gave them 1 star as I could not give them 0!
I love the "women message first" concept that Bumble runs on as a businesswoman who knows exactly what I'm looking for. I met my current boyfriend on here, would never manage that on an app like Tinder. Glad bumble exists in a time like this.
Bumble is not fair! Bumble blocked me and gave no reason for their action other than declaring "Your account has been blocked because we've received several reports about your behavior on our platform." Either my account was hacked, or Bumble made a mistake. I have always been respectful and never confrontational or offensive. Regardless, Bumble has been neither fair nor reasonable with me, so be advised that you may lose your access at any time for any reason with no explanation. Spread the word!
There is a lot to like about Bumble, the app, the number of active users, the low cost. I tend to but a months subscription every 6 months to see how I get on, been doing that for years. Sometimes I drop off after the month, other times I keep it going. I've had a lot of luck recently with a great site called WeJustFit that's a bit more under the radar, so I've not been trying as many sites as usual, but signed up to Bumble today for my half yearly check and it's good to see it's still a decent choice for me.
I used it for several hours and enjoyed it. Then I paid for bumble boost... only $9.99. After 30/40 minutes they said unit I verify my photo my profile is blocked. 10 attempts at verification and several emails saying I'll leave if you refund my money as I truly didn't use much of the 168 hours I paid for... stay away from this crack head business
This app had potential to be good but now its just horrible! Avoid this app like the plague! The men on this app only wants sex from you, dont want relationships, will not message you back if you swiped right way under the 24 hour deadline. Some men have a lot of open realationships with their girlfriends/wives too! Its turning into the next tinder which it already is! Horrible app and a waste of time.
Not a bad app to meet new people. Just do your due diligence before you meet anyone from the site. The app was easy to use.
I joined and have literally right swiped hundreds of women's photos and not a single response or activity at all. I am considered a good-looking guy and middle-aged women flirt with me all the time so I know it is not my looks that is the issue.
I believe most of these profiles of great looking women on this app are bogus and just loaded on there to entice men to sign up. What a scam and a waste of money and my time. I have had much better luck with web dating sites, but not this phone app.
I was on the site for 3 weeks. Not many people in my area on the site. I deleted the app. I didnt realize that I had accepted auto renew never planned to stay subscribed beyond one month. When I was charged the one month rate for the second month I politely asked for a refund. They said no. I recommend you stay away, really, they are terrible!
Answer: I would recommend to avoid Bumble! It's run by a pack of crooks who make money on quilting gullible people into paid subscriptions. They let in as many fakes and scammers as possible because this is how they make huge profit. They don't care about the integrity and legitimacy of their site. There are better options: http://J4Love.net was helpful to me. I met my girlfriend there. They mostly have genuine women.
Answer: You can do whatever you want but I think it's inappropriate as far as a review of this company. The company has no control over the people who are using it to date and just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean that anybody really is interested in it. You're most likely an adult and you need to handle your issues on your own. However, if the person you dated poses a danger to you or others than obviously you want to go to the police and report this to Bumble. However, other than issues with the company specifically I don't think that sitejabber is a place to air your dirty laundry. There are sites dedicated to romance scams which you can paste your experience to.
Answer: They are a real company. You can read about them on Wikipedia. Their practices would be considered by most, a scam
Bumble has changed the way people date, find friends, and the perception of meeting online, for the better. Women make the first move. On iPhone + Android.
