There is good and bad news about brainly. Good news: if you manage to sign up then people give you OK answers to your question.The bad news is: it does not let you sign up on Brainly.com (use Brainly.in instead) and people use it as some sort of online forum like Twitter. All the questions are either in a foriegn language or are a message to someone. I have spotted multiple links to Google Meet and people have even created their own code language to send private comments to each other. Other people say it's like a dating website and they're true!

Pretty sure the photo says it all. The users on brainly are ridiculous and don't understand that the people like me were there for our education and to succeeded not for them to go around acting like their sh*t doesn't stink. Recently the users use the app as if its a dating site or a meme page when it isn't. You can report people on brainly but that's about it. There's no penalty or anything that can stop idiots like the one in the screenshot. Nothing good comes out of a scam so don't get this app if you want serious answers.

When I say just bad, it means mainly that sometimes the answers will be just flat out WRONG and in general, there's too much crap on the sides of the screen, ads ads and more ads. If you try and get more than ONE answer I think every day, then you have to watch an ad. But today, I got on it for one answer, and then the second time, I needed to do some "interactive ad" BS that didn't even work and it was literally a white screen I was looking at for 30 seconds. Then after that, I HAD TO WATCH ANOTHER 30 SECOND AD, BUT I COULDN'T FAST FORWARD IT.

So many times students just go to Brainly to cheat on tests and quizzes, and it sucks. So many times, I will find that my son has been using brainly to do tests and quizzes for him, and he doesn't learn anything.

1. I hate Brainly. Every time I ask a question, people just say "don't know. Thanks for the free points tho and mark ME Brainliest." It's annoying.

2. I actually got sexually assaulted on Brainly. I'm 12 and the guy who sexually assaulted me is 19. I feel disgusted because I thought it was supposed to be a learning environment. But I guess I was wrong.

3. People are sending links to "hot and s*xy girls" google meetings and stuff.

What every you do, do NOT get Brainly. It's not worth it. Trust me. If I can give this website 0 stars, trust me, I would.

I am a 16-year-old student in Florida trying to get some help in math and science. I thought Brainly would be a good website until the ads showed up. Brainly is loaded with a crap ton of ads and promotions. For almost every question you have to go to, it will give you a 30-second ad and then another one about Brainly Plus. They even have a button that says "Ask your parents" as if they are a credit card. If I had my own company for teaching students new things I wouldn't put a price on their own damn education. This just shows how much low effort Brainly used on their website. Nobody on their team has the option to solve answers directly, but instead, they need the customers and guests to answer the questions for them. Most of the time the answers are right, but the company's greed is unbelievable.

As others have stated before, Brainly.com is a thoughtful website that attempts to engage students and assist with their learning, yet the constant self - promotion and paywalls are quite ridiculous. Users should NEVER have their right to learn valuable information denied simply because they do not pay a website. I was once even stuck on a Lysol advertisement that wanted me to complete a puzzle.

While me and others use Brainly.com to better grasp our source material and better understand our learning, this service is poorly moderated and abused by cheaters. Cheating does not help others learn, and Brainly is partially responsible for this type of behavior because they do not have real guidelines or standards enforced. Brainly.com should allow students to access UNLIMITED information without having to pay them, and instead like Quizlet, use their "Plus" service to allow benefits, not simply lock away valuable information.

For the meantime, students should check out more reliable websites like Quizlet.com.
