If I could give this company zero stars I would. BEWARE: After mailing in my books, I received a return email from Bookstores.com that said my gently used textbook had "water damage" and therefore had zero value. After emailing them, with pictures of my book's condition prior to their receipt of it, they offered to send it back as a one time courtesy if I paid $3.99 shipping. I don't see how it is my fault that either FedEx or this company's intake team damaged my book. I've had great results with other companies in the past, and so I DO NOT recommend this one.
Worst $#*!ing seller ever. Your class is going to be over by the time you get the book.
I was ripped off by two of there suggested vendors and bookstores did absolutely nothing to help fix the matter or regain my confidence. Even though I see Books cheaper listed on there site, I won't use there service as it is questionable. Horrible seller
I just purchased a book through this website. I had a promo code for 31% off so I was excited to get a great deal, but I noticed while at checkout that there was no box to enter a promo code so after checking out I sent them an email explaining the situation and requesting if it would be possible to edit the payment or give me credit. The response I got was this... "Unfortunately items ordered through the textbooksrus.com marketplace are ineligible for discounts."
So they must have several sites linked together and I'm sure this is the excuse to get out of honoring promos. I also didn't get a printable confirmation page after my purchase, although they did email one.
