This is an honest review after months of chasing BookLeaf Publishing for what they promised and failed to deliver.
I paid a hefty sum for their "Bestseller" package, plus an additional amount for post-publication edits. Despite this, the version of my book available on Amazon is still full of the same errors. The layout is poor, and the alignment is broken.
A consultant named Jaya (who I doubt even exists as a real employee) responded sporadically and unprofessionally. Her last email claimed that the revised version was updated on Amazon—which was an outright lie.
Even more concerning is their misleading marketing strategy. They use social media ads claiming their publishing company is approved by Shark Tank India. In reality, they appeared on the show, pitched, and received zero investment, i. E., they were NOT APPROVED. Using the show's name to lure unsuspecting writers is not just unethical—it's fraudulent.
I strongly advise authors—especially first-time writers—to avoid BookLeaf Publishing. This experience has cost me money, time, peace of mind, and my trust in Indian publishing startups.
