The bag I received was cheap, poor quality, and not what was advertised.

When I tried to return it, Bond & Mason demanded that I pay international return shipping costing almost half the item's price.

They stated in writing that they do not follow UK consumer laws, despite selling and delivering to UK customers. This effectively forces customers to lose money for returning substandard products.

To make matters worse, you cannot leave product reviews on their website, so negative experiences are hidden from future buyers.

Buyers beware: if the product is poor, you will be left out of pocket.

Don't be fooled by the flashy aggressive google advertising. This is not a valid retailer. The bad reviews are right. The good reviews are paid. Product is cheap nasty purses and bags made from vile plastic. Theya re shipped out 2 weeks via China Post and added a third party label from local shipper. Then the weird return policy, you ship it to a fake address in a third party country at your own expense. Mine was a car park in a military building in Norway. Then it bounces back to you 8 weeks later as undeliverable. Find a local store in your city and buy your mom a bag there instead. Don't feed the scam trolls. Ugh J'sus gross.

From the minute the bag arrived I had to hang it outside because of the really 'chemical' smell.
After writing to Bond and Mason, they told me it was the leather! The smell was on the inside and did not smell of leather. (They take you for a fool because the other bag I purchased didn't smell like that, so didn't make sense)
After writing again, to say that I had tried all the ways they suggested to get rid of the stink, they offered me a 40% refund. I replied that 40% for a bag that would have to go in the dustbin, was not acceptable, I wanted a full refund. They said, Yes, but pay the return costs myself!
Needless to say, the bag is now in the bin!

DON'T buy from them - the bags stink of petrol and are thick and heavy before you put anything into them. Then they expect you to ship $43 bag to The Netherlands when they are obviously made in China.
They come bent as well. They must remove all negative comments and reviews because I checked before I purchased 2 bags and there wasn't anything negative but i can see a couple now.
Total Scam - avoid!
