Customer service needs some work.

UPDATE: after a few days of working with customer service (and being told there was nothing they could do), I had a different rep contact me and issue the refund. If I would have spoken to her in the first place, it would have been a different experience. But it was a few days of back and forth conversations and me being persistent that it was not our error.

ORIGINAL: My mother just got a daith, tragus and nose piercing a couple days ago. And in her excitement wanted to buy some jewelry for when she is able to change out the piercings. I happened to see that there was a 50% off sale going on, so I told her she should buy a few things! So she placed an order, received an order confirmation email. Today received another order confirmation updating her existing order with a pair of $20 nipple piercings! She called me up frantic not knowing what to do, so I contacted Body Candy's customer service to say that she never ordered that, included the original order confirmation, and received back a "well there's nothing with can do" response. It definitely seems like a scam from their lack of urgency, considering that would be a major issue on their end if their system added in items/inventory to orders. Not to mention the fact that they over charged on an agreed upon amount.

Bad infection

This is my second time ordering from here and getting a piece of jewelry that causes an infection in my Piercing site. The first time, I had my surface tragus pierced for over two years and I got a piece of gold jewelry to go in and it started turning color within two or three days and made my piercing infected with pus and blood. And I got my bellybutton pierced over a week ago and it was healing fine but yesterday I put in a belly button ring from this site in now it's leaking pus and changing color around my piercing site. In the picture I posted that's the pus on top of my belly button ring and you can see just how discolored it is around the top ball. It's literally starting to sink in after 1 day. I would only recommend the site to somebody I hate. Would give it zero stars if I could. And by the way I tried to leave this review on the site under the jewelry I purchased but mysteriously my review is not there.

You wont get your order

I have emailed them about my missing order and they deflected, evaded and ignored questions and accusations. They tell me the label was made on aug 2nd and to wait 7-10 (the website said my shipping method would take 2-7 days) days for it to be shipped, then later say it was *shipped* on aug 2nd, and many more lies that i cant be bother to type all out. Im never ordering here again after this. I hope i get my money back.

I received 2 pairs of nipple bars yesterday, i noticed that firstly they were very chunky and thick, secondly they were externally threaded ( meaning they have the screw pattern on the inside, which can cause damage to inside the piercing) and, thirdly the cheap tacky material after one night of wearing a pair caused a painful infection. Will only be wearing quality stuff not from piercers, not this chat $#*!

This piece is originally gold 316 which should not fade. It's turned green only having it a week or two in my nose. It's infected my nose so bad I got a huge bump on my nose I had to hurry and switch nose rings and there is a bump inside my nose where the piercing is. I'm highly upset and they don't do anything to fix it.

Great service, quality jewelry

I cannot use anything except titanium grade jewelry. Body candy was one of the few who offered clicker nose rings in 5mm. I searched everywhere. They sent them right away, and the quality is great. I don't have keloid, pimples, swelling or bumps that other girls have and I changed my jewelry early. I would suggest purchasing higher grade metals if you are disappointed with your purchse. The shipping was fast and reliable.

Spent years supporting them in hopes that they would improve and unfortunately, they haven't! Most of the jewelry is wayyy overpriced for the QUALITY. The jewelry either irritate people or turns their skin colors. I find it funny that when someone mentions that on their site, or if given less than a 4 star, the review is deleted. NOT COOL! If you're looking for body jewelry, you honestly would be better off buying from whoever did your piercing(s)

My mom ordered a septum with bat back in March and it didn't make it til the end of May. The pink lip studs I had broke and the pink coating chipped after 2 weeks of having them in. We decided to but more the 2nd time around and although the items came in a week, 2 out of 3 of my mom's plus were the wrong size and the "green" studs I bought came as a blue ball with a singular green dot and they felt like cheap rubber. In all don't waste your time or money because the "green" stud in my left snake bite just broke in half and crumbled onto my dress. We had high expectations but even customer support sucks here.

Don't pay for the fast shipping because it's a lie. I paid $25 to have something two day air and the next day got a notification that it will arrive in 8 days... I understand business days and all and so I ordered on a Tuesday and it won't be here till next Wednesday. When I talk to customer service they said it will take a week. All I know is that is no where near 2 day air. They had no reasoning and blamed the shipper which still you are suppose to notify the customer and they have to agree to that. Asked them to just refund the difference between regular shipping and two day and that's not happening, so be aware
