I had a few personal meetings through them. But I have never gone that far on BlackPeopleMeet. I suspect it's actually impossible to meet any of BlackPeopleMeet ladies, because of the way this filthy system works. These women exist, but most of them aren't aware that their photos were put up on this dating site.

The site wasn't bad. I met a lot of mature men, but most had long soliloquy's in their bios about what they don't want in a woman, rather than what type of woman captures their interest. So much so that it felt angry and certainly not welcoming for a woman that may have found you attractive. Most lived seemingly basic lives, yet carried on like they're rolling in dough. Get a grip fellas, some of us are looking at your heart and not your pocket

I was a member of BPM back when it first came online. As of 2024,BPM is a total disappointment and shows they are only out to get money. This site does not care about black love. In order to respond to a message, you have to subscribe. It see Likes, you have to subscribe. If this site was the great site it was in the beginning, I would sign up for membership again. It may not matter to your company, but you have lost a paying subscriber. I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

The service is horrible, i have been locked out of my account from day 1 due to what they say that my phone number does not match the one that they have on record.this is day 5 and all I got from them is an email that said within 24 hrs they would respond.the customer service number does not work.and when they got back to me after countless emails and attempts, there responds was that they cancelled my accost but yet they still took money from my paypal account. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! There are better sites out there, you might pay a little more, but you get what you pay for.

Don't want someone who is white, female (I'm a woman looking for a man), out of state or the country, or who refuses to meet me if I don't post a picture. I don't know if their picture is real so I want to meet with someone who lives nearby. Messages have been sent from me to members that I did not send. Many profiles appear to be inactive, yet you have no way of knowing who has "upgraded" and therefore gets messages you have sent them.

I have a payed prescription and can't access.I have been texting them about the issue and no one will do anything about They texted me back and said I could not receive a refund and my membership expires in September.I would be ok if they just straightened it out but their not doing anything.

When your account expires then they have fake accounts send you messages like they are interested then a few days after you reactivate your account they gone

Stay away from this site. They charged my card,I tried to change my password and cannot do so. I also notice they BPM have not responded to the complaints people have. If I have to change my credit number to stop automatic renewal,I'll do that. The site is proving to be a SCAM.

Thought I was conversing with someone,but when I was sending her a message inquiring about her day, a pop appeared asking if I really wanted to send this inappropriate message! I didn't see anything wrong with it and I hit send. I never seen the message or the person I thought I was chatting with. Yeah something strange about that. Cancelled membership and will never renew!

Avoid at all costs! BlackPeopleMeet is the dumbest way to burn your money! Good dating sites still exist though

BlackPeopleMeet use all traditional scam tricks: when you sign up for monthly billing you get charged a full year, then they have auto renewal of your membership without your consent and they have all kinds of bogus unauthorized charges. And - I should have put it first - if you are able to find a real woman among endless fakes and scammers - consider it unprecedented luck! BlackPeopleMeet is a fraudulent site taking advantage of those looking for relationship.

My new husband and I met on Black People Meet three years ago. He had been on the site for awhile, and I had only been on for a short time. I came across his profile and emailed him. It seems that we had a lot in common, and we decided to exchange phone numbers. Eventually, we started to Facetime. In the meantime, I relocated to a new residence, and he came to assist me (we made sure we were both vaccinated, because this was during the Pandemic:-). I guess this was meant to be because we commuted for two years (we lived in different states).
As for BPM, we had no problems with the site, yes, there were some unusual and unsavory profiles, but that was when I used the delete button, and the site would warn me about some inappropriate characters, as well. Neither of us had any problem with the payment nor the cancellations of services, once we found one another. All we can say is thank you BPM and we wish others the best in making their love connection!

Until I did a investigation on my own & found out their are a lot & I mean a lot of fake women profiles on blackpeoplemeet! Where & why they are always use photos of people is beyond me! Glad I didn't pay any $ or I would be so sorry! I eliminated my profile!

One guys profile read "Mack"... He introduced himself as "Bruce--" When I questioned this; he disappeared... Another touted his financial stability (who cares? I can take care of myself... To prove it I've been doing so the last 40 years--) And yet another? Oh let's just forget about it! This is a place for folks who like to play games. I may NOT have much fortune in finding 'the one' on my own-- but after this experience; I'll stay gleefully single.

BPM is 100% fraud, a total money-making scheme! The women get paid. Their job is to entice you to buy more credits and keep you on a chat session. If you have ever used a normal and reputable dating site you know how genuine women act. They don't bombard you with 10 messages per day (especially if you never reply), they don't chat with you 24/7 and they don't tell you what they want to do with your body in the first letter (regardless of the fact that you don't even have a photo in your profile).
Well, they do all of this on BlackPeopleMeet - there are all kinds of red flags for fraud. You have been warned, guys!

I was a member of black people meet within the Virginia area. Most people on this site has it confused with a meet up sex site. I met several people all looking for sex. I only remained a member for 4 months and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is seriously looking for true companionship.

Horrible- paid member- locked out, customer service does not help you, even after you provide the information they requested to resolve the issue. No customer service phone number either all communications are via email so you will be ignored- and nothing you can do about it. Worst experience ever.
