I purchased a 350.00 product on dec.2nd.it arrived on dec. 6. i put it in the closet till dec. 25 and gave it to my wife for christmas. Upon using it a week after she opened it, she just didn't like it.we called bissel to return it and they won't honor it cause the 30 day return had ran out on jan. 5th. How is that fair to any customer? This 30 day policy was falsely advertised to me. I will never deal with Bissel again. Hopefully you won't either.
This company gives you a hard time about returning their product the battery died on my pet stain eraser I practically had to give my blood to prove that their product sucks I wouldn't recommend buy their products to anyone
Called customer service and man was very rude! Says my package was shipped but haven't received it although I've been given 2 different delivery dates. He insisted that I continue to wait, they refused to assist me in any way.
Customer service was kind, respectful and I felt no way advisarial. It's the policy that bissell offers for there products. I need a new battery at 75 a copy. They offered a 20% discount. I've used this for 3 months, purchased in 2019(I know hard to believe) anyway, I would rethink your cordless vacuum purchased going forward. We are looking at Dyson. Much more expensive but perhaps you get what you paid for. Bissell is not made in America. Not sure about Dyson. But I will rethink before I make another purchase.
I would give there products a 5 star review but I think s big company like Bissell would strive to make there products last longer the problem is there hoses. They always break from usage
I phoned Bissell's Customer Service this evening
(September 4,2021) at approximately 7:30pm EST, at telephone # *******691. I had a couple of questions regarding the vacuum I intend on purchasing.
The agent couldn't even answer the phone correctly. Upon answering, all I could hear was what sounded like either the phone being dropped numerous times, or the agent running into objects/walls with the phone, or both.
Eventually, the agent introduced himself as Alex. He then asked me for my first name... Which I had to repeat to him two times.
I'm not sure if I woke the guy up, if he was drunk or high, or all of the aforementioned. At that point, I hung up on the agent and am now considering whether or not to go through with my intended purchase.
In other words, I didn't get to talk to anyone who came close to Cathy Bissell... Not that I expect Cathy to answer the phone, but a somewhat likeable personality/voiced person who can properly answer a phone would certainly be nice!
Not one, but two Bissell carpet cleaners didn't work and Bissell wouldn't refund my money. I bought an inexpensive Bissell carpet cleaner through Amazon. Because I was taking care of my invalid mother, I did not open the package until after Amazon's return window had closed. The machine did not work. I contacted Bissell and they said they would replace the machine and sent another inexpensive machine to me, and not only did it not work, it left a streak of dirty water and some sort of rubber on my carpet. I contacted Bissell again and asked for my money back. They refused. They said they would give me credit off of a more expensive machine, but I would have had to spend a considerable amount of money to get the equivalent discount off of the purchase price. They offered another inexpensive machine to be sent to me, or I could return the machine to them with documentation proving that it had damaged my carpet and they would consider if I had a claim. After months of emails back-and-forth to Bissell and since I didn't have any faith this would go positively for me I refused. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they contacted Bissell immediately, and Bissell offered me the exact same options that they previously offered me. I refused them again and the Better Business Bureau closed the matter. Bissell's excuse for not refunding my original $100 was that I did not buy the machine from them. Since they made the machine I would think they would stand behind it. They will not.
Do not order from their website. I tried to order the big green machine through PayPal and it was supposed to charge me four separate payments. Instead it charged me for the full amount for 423 plus 2 payments of 106.00(two of the four payments that was supposed to be spread out in four weeks). I told them to cancel the whole order they said it would take two weeks to give me a refund. Two weeks! I have a dispute open with PayPal as well as my bank. Be very careful ordering from their site. You will be overcharged.
My grandmother purchased a vacuum and couldn't return it within the purchase year due to covid and they won't even replace the broken vacuum! It does not hold a charge at all and has no use or function. Called customer service for them to offer a 20% discount code... really? That's all? I can find that discount code with a google search. Poor poor customer service. Will not be purchasing from them again.
Bissell is not the company it used to be. I have used Bissell products for many years, but will not do so again. We purchased a carpet shampoo device which had good ratings. I used it once after purchasing it this summer. The second time the carpet shampoo device would not work. I have spent months calling customer service in the Philippines. The customer service rep. Has promised twice a supervisor would call me. The third time the supervisor did call me, but not when promised. The supervisor is named Pia. She told me if I had the receipt or warranty they would resolve the issue. I found the online warranty registration and now she said they can't help me as I registered the wrong product. However, I used their form which had the incorrect product listed and now Pia wants the receipt. The warranty registration states only a receipt is needed if purchased at a store. The unit was purchased online. I have written Pia numerous times expressing my displeasure. No help. I am astonished at how Bissell has run me around as a customer. Another issue is out of U.S. customer service. It is difficult for me to understand their representatives and I don't think they understand me well. Once a good company, but another example of a company that is no longer what it was and it should keep customer service in the U.S. They are absolutely horrible anymore. Do not buy their products. Very frustrating experience. I attached proof the carpet shampoo unit was registered online on 8/18/2020 with the correct serial number. They have the serial number, but the excuse now is that it is the wrong product. I did not list the machine as a 1400W unit. Also, the serial number was correct so they know which product was sold. The customer service person found every reason why not to replace the machine. Also, the warranty document I have posted states that is my proof of purchase. Bissell is not following its own rules for honoring its products. As an attorney I am livid and intend to pursue this matter further.
The customer service is of no value what so ever. They are from the Philippines and all they do is read a script. No knowledge of anything about the. Products. They sent a fed ex label for shipping return. To which now there is no record.
The product had a part that was unable to connect correctly. After 5 phone calls a new handle was shipped again did not work 4 more calls later another handle shipped. It didn't work either called customer service and was told to do all kinds of ridiculous things. That they were told has already been done multiple times. I returned the item with their fed ex label and now they have no record of the fed ex label or returned shipment. They are refusing to refund my money.
Called customer service maybe four times. Was told they didn't have the screws, then told they did have them and shipping out to me and expect to get them in 7-10 business days. Its been well over a month and no screws and no explanation or concern by bissell customer service. I called them back and was told the screws were on back order. When I asked why they told me 7-10 days, all I got was a BS copout answer. I normally won't write negative reviews, but this has to be the worse unprofessional customer care of any business I have ever dealt with.
Bought the product and the vacuum is OK, but it. Only comes With 4 disposable Swiffer Bissell Steamboost disposable pads, and 2 washable microfiber pads. The microfiber pads suck. The disposable pads are much better, but there's one BIG PROBLEM, you cannot get refills! The only way to buy the disposable pads is to buy a $50 bundle that only provides 4 disposable pads and the plastic bottom tray for the vac/mop. $50! If you have the vac/mop, you DO NOT NEED another bottom tray because that already comes with the vac/mop. So essentially, you are paying $50 for a useless piece of plastic and 4 disposable swiffer pads. And let me add that you cannot use any other pads with the vac/mop! So good luck with a virtually useless product!
I bought the BISSELL Crosswave Pet Pro All in One Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner and Mop for Hard floors and Area Rugs, 2306 from Amazon. I own a Bissell Carper cleaner that I absolutely love and thought this product would be just as good. I was wrong! This vac/mop clogs instantly and starts to smell like it's burning. Then shuts off. It's been two months and I'm too scared to use it. They will not let me return it and I got scammed by Bissell for $300! I'm so unhappy with them.
So then I called customer service who told me this product is not for pets. How can you advertise a pet cleaning machine that's not for pets!? You said it was for egg on the floor. (Honestly, they did!) Anyone with dogs knows that there is never egg left on a floor! They farm out their customer service to some overseas company meant to soothe you and in the end say, you are sh*t outta luck sucker.
I got scammed by Bissell and the bot keeps saying call this number. Well I did and you offered me a free brush! Woohoo. What a piece of garbage. I want my money back and I won't stop reporting on the terrible customer service until you do. So it's this design that sucks. Feel free to credit me anytime you want Bissell
Wow, I could not get over how pleased I was with the customer service. I recently bought the 3 in 1 vacuum cleaner, but I had it propped up against my bed and it somehow got tipped over and a clip broke off it. I emailed Bissel about it and told them the situation and right away they told me they would send me a new vacuum. They shipped it that day and I received it shortly after, I was so pleased. I would recommend Bissel to anyone! Ive been using my new one and its worked perfectly fine!
Bissell's local authorized service center network for their vacuum cleaners is a joke. But don't expect better from their corporate headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Bissell's Consumer Services Manager, Ravi Scharbaan, never returns calls. Alison, the "administrative assistant" to CEO, Mr. Mark Bissell, covers up corporate inadequacies with one excuse after another.
Mr. Mark Bissell signs his name to his "Thanks" for buying his product and alludes to his great-grandfather's invention. To wit:
"Your BISSELL vacuum is well made, and we back it with a limited, three-year warranty. We also stand behind it with a knowledgable, dedicated Consumer Services department, so should you ever have a problem, you'll receive fast, considerate assistance."
The facts belie his words. What he actually offers is DIS-SERVICE.
Bottom line, don't ever buy a Bissell product. Their "warranties" are worthless.
Back in May, I rescued a dog - I named him Shadow because he follows me everywhere. But he also sheds everywhere - a lot more than my previous dog.
My living room rug seemed to collect most of it. Even though I vacuumed a couple of times a week, his hair got so embedded into the fibers of the rug, that the vacuum just wasn't getting it out and the rug began to look really bad.
Then I saw a Bissell "Clearview deluxe rewind pet" vacuum for sale at my local Lowe's. I read the information about the Bissell and checked for testimonials and everything looked great. Since it was on sale for $40 off, I thought "well if it doesn't work out, I can always take it back."
I won't be taking it back. It really surprised me how great a job it did. After vacuuming and going over the rug a couple of times, I looked at it and didn't see ANY of Shadow's hair embedded in the rug. I was very pleasantly surprised.
I don't know about their other products, but this one is much better than I anticipated.
Thanks for a good product and I get to keep my rug.
I will not knowingly spend another dime on their products for the simple reason, after years of buying their vacuums/carpet shampoo machines hundreds of dollars if not more! I purchased their best carpet shampoo $35.00 bought two due to a money back guarantee. RIGHT! They kept me on the phone accusing me of during product wrong... which was normal use:(Didn't give me my money back and refuse to print my review!
Answer: Just I called and I did not have to wait to get a person and not like answer automatic voice, the person was very nice and kind and after the call i got an email and Bissel keep me informed about my request. It was so easy to get customer service.
