It was a wonderful time! This was the first time we have been on the front of The Spartanburg Living. We have put that photo in our house! It also helped women (out of incarceration) who needed help from Angels Charge Ministry, nonprofit. You all did a great job!

The article itself was well done, and the photographer did a great job. However, the follow-through after publication was disappointing. Distribution felt inconsistent. Some neighbors received the magazine while others did not. I only received the copies I purchased and did not receive the complimentary copies I was promised, nor a regular copy in the mail as I have previously.
Ultimately, the experience left me feeling more like a marketing asset than a valued feature. Being included in a publication should provide real value to the person being featured, not leave them feeling like the primary purpose was to leverage their participation to sell advertising. The editorial work was strong, but the overall experience fell short of expectations.

We had a great experience being the December 2025 feature family. Molly did a great job being flexible with our schedule, coming to our house, and asking probing questions. Lorri also fit us into her day for the photo shoot and took some really nice pictures. My only complaint is that we have never been on the magazine's mailing list!
