Here's a line from an essay about the "Civil Right Movement" - their spelling, not mine.
"The Civil Right Movement is a defining chapter in the US history because it earned the black Americans an equal right of citizenship as whites."
Whoa. Top of it's many, many errors is a construction so poor it actually appears to mean "earned [the?] black Americans an equal right of citizenship BY TURNING THEM INTO WHITE PEOPLE." Ouch.
And from an essay on stuttering:
"Stuttering is a speech disorder that is common in young children. It is also called stammering, which makes some children repeat words or parts of the word.
