I fairly quickly identified a candidate located simply in US. I asked what city and state. Her response - Wwhat is your preference. My response - my city and state. Her response - What is your city and state. My response - Would your city and state be Orlando, Florida. Her response - Oh, yes, Orlando. And it went downhill from there. E.G., me - Do you live full time in Orlando? Her response was a discussion of her culinary past-time in making certain types of cookies.

I ran out of credits before I could actually talk to the person I found...
This was my first time on the app and wasn't too sure what to do...
You'll have to pay, and keep paying, and keep paying, to chat with anyone you're interested in.
All kinds of excuses as to why you can't meet, even though they profess that they "love you" and how they envision a future with you.
You aren't allowed to exchange contact information, until you attain 5,000 credits, which is several hundreds, if not, thousands of dollars.
So, the other member who claims to "love" you... you won't be able to communicate directly with each other, unless you keep paying for the "chats" online.
Then, if they send you letters, in which many are sent, that costs extra, to read them.
You'll get lured in with love bombing, false hope that you have met, "the love of your life", and good luck, actually being able to communicate with them directly, unless you are willing to fork over a lot of money to continue to chat.
Excuse me, but two grown adults SHOULD be able to decide, for themselves, if they want to communicate directly; NOT a company's intervention and final decision, after YOU spend a lot of money, in which I was not aware of, when I initially signed up for this dating site.
Then, you'll never ever hear back, from "the love of your life", if you don't pay again, to contact them.
This preys on vulnerable people, that are truly looking for a relationship, in hopes of finding someone that they can date, and do things with, in person.
Instead, you'll find yourself in an illusion; an imaginary fantasy, with someone that tells you all of the good things, but reality is, you'll realistically, never, ever meet them, unless you pay thousands of dollars to exchange personal information.
Then, the site asks for personal banking information, according to another member review on another site. She claimed that she spent thousands of dollars, and when she refused to give her banking information, she wasn't able to connect with the person she was interested in.
So, be very cautious, as this is a huge set up for a broken heart, and a broken wallet, and a very disappointing outcome as a result of not being able to actually be with your actual person of interest.
Other members have also stated that many profiles are AI generated, along with responses. I have shown a few profiles to non-members, my friends, whose first response was this same assessment; AI generated, and not even real.
It's sad that huge profits are made off of lonely hearts, and people that are truly looking for a real, and stable connection, and instead, will spend months emailing a person, spending lots of money, then realizing that they probably will never, ever meet that person, AFTER having their hearts broken and their wallets emptied.

I felt like I was scammed by this website. It's very expensive to "chat" with members. Credits are very expensive. If members send you letters to read, or extra pics in an email, credits are used up quickly. You can't respond unless you keep buying credits. If you are interested in an individual, chatting with them becomes highly expensive. Many pics appear to be AI generated, so it's hard to know if you are dealing with an actual person; I've shown pics to my friends not on the website, and that was their first impression. One member and I had an interest; we chatted for almost 4 weeks, for hours at a time. He quit communication completely when my credits ran out but quickly resumed again when I reluctantly renewed my membership, as we had discussed we didn't want to lose each other. I don't know if he was paid a commission by the website for renewals or not. You aren't allowed to exchange personal information if you want to exchange phone numbers, etc., unless you go through customer service. I was told by their representative that, the only way that members can exchange information, is that both people must have 5,000 credits used, which is, I think but not sure if this is accurate for sure, is like 1$ per credit... so $5,000 apiece before phone numbers and/or emails can be exchanged?! That's $10,000 total... for a basic phone number/email exchange! The member that he and I became interested in each other, his very last email to me, was, he wanted to know the "highlights "of our chats; what an odd thing to say! It felt like an exit job interview performance rating, rather than someone who professed his love for me, just moments earlier. I think he wanted to know this so that he could perfect his "chats" and technique
On other non suspecting members. It had a very dishonest feel to it. I talked to customer service online, asking for a refund.
I felt very cheated with so much money taken, and they would only offer me a 10% refund credit. When I refused that, they immediately closed down my account.
Nothing was mentioned or discussed, at all, regarding my professionalism or "unsafe" conduct, as mentioned by bestdates on another review site, as the reason for closing my account. They said billing would contact me; I never, ever, heard from their billing department. It was a very disappointing experience for my first time on this dating site, and the company didn't care. I believe, BestDates is using this dishonest and untruthful response as an underhanded, and retaliatory way of discrediting my honest review of their ongoing and dishonest tactics. This just shows you how twisted and untruthful and untrustworthy, this site actually is; be very very careful!
I truly felt scammed by this website and I don't even know if I was chatting with a real person. Some of the chat's verbiage was at times very questionable, and very mis worded, calling me a male from the person i had chatted with for weeks and hours, when i'm a female. He said he saw a future with me, but then said "a black tux for you on your special day". Um, most brides wear a white wedding dress! So he talks about a future together, but then, he can't call me directly/email me/text me, not even once? We've never met and he never once, heard my voice. Then he totally disconnects once membership runs out, despite discussing a wedding and a future? I've never heard from him since, except on the dating site where he keeps encouraging me to respond to him, which costs more $$$, in which I won't spend any more. Other member profiles, seem oddly similar, in the verbiage used, so there is a possibility that one person is writing several profiles; same with responses to me; oddly similar verbiage. Sorry that TRUTH upsets this website's agenda, but I hope that more people put the word out, as I will, most assuredly, use other social media forums to voice my experience with this website. Websites that scam victims for their money, lure them in with fake promises, use deceitful means to trick people, should NEVER... EVER... be tolerated! It is my sincere hope that more honest reviews keep coming forward, to expose TRUTH.
I thought this site was good at first but expensive. I stayed using it for awhile and found a lot of girls who show you many pictures of themselves that cost you money to look at. Come to find out they don't have to pay for credits, only you do. Why is that? They all tell you that they want to meet you but the site is geared up so you cant put any information down so you can meet AI will block it out. I spent a lot of money and never met one girl It's a rip off
