I signed up for a 1 dollar trial for a single phone number but didn't end up receiving any information about it and decided to cancel and get a refund. I have to mention it's 11 PM at night and people Manning these phones are probably tired and their shifts are ending soon. The person who picked up the phone was the sweetest person I'd ever had at the end of a customer service line and was very helpful. Told me all the information about the cancellation and how the refund would work, even gave me the cancellation verification number. When I complimented her service she sounded so happy and told her I made my night and I have to say she made mine too. I know the phone number thing is good since I've had friends of mine compliment it but it's just not my thing, so I'm not going to sign up. But the people they hire for customer service are top notch!
I've used this site for about 10 years, I believe. It's excellent, especially since it added email addresses, which have been notoriously difficult to find. In searching for high school classmates (class of '55) I've been able to find most folks for whom I've searched, including females, most of whom have had one or two new marriage names since then. It has some extra cost features I've not used, but have not felt I needed to. RECOMMENDED

TOTAL FRAUD. TOTAL LIE AFTER LIE ON THEIR ADVERTISEMENT. I PAID FOR THEIR SERVICE AND I GOT NOTHING IN RETURN
Taking advantage of the elderly with "bait and switch" billing. After I caught the 2nd charge to the credit card, I found out that she was lead to believe it was a one time charge of $15, and that the information that was claimed to be available, was not. This is typical business practice for a company that scams people on a fixed income out of their limited income with recurring charges spaced out so that the consumer is not alerted. Only a scammer sets it up where you can NOT cancel from the website, and provides no mention of how to do so,
Do NOT waste your "$1.00"! When you go to cancel the service they charge you $37.00... They charge this for inaccurate information! The information that I found could be deleted from my report but others were still able to see the bogus info! This site does compile all of the free inaccurate information and charge for it!
SAVE YOUR MONEY! SOOOOO NOT WORTH IT!
They didn't have the info I was looking for hence the 4 stars. They did however make it very easy to cancel and get a refund. Good solid company.

I was quite disappointed to sign up for this service and did not get any new information. It was on someone I dealing with on a personal business matter yet nothing was accurate. And after that my money was taken. Highly disappointing and a waste of $22.86 for information that is not updated at all.

I found criminal records online through the state database which wasn't on report. No criminal activities at all when we know there have been others in addition to the one found. Similar sites said they found them according to their "report". I went with BeenVerified because they were cheaper and it really shows. I paid like 26.00 about an hour ago and have put in my cancellation already. There is NO TEST period! There is NO refund. It just says there will be no further charges. To make sure this was a really bad site, I checked other 2 other names (it showed a total of 4, but 1 was not what I initially searched for) and found a variety of crazy information as well as incomplete. I think they need to add another section titled "Ripped Off By" and add their name because that has been verified! Very unhappy!

Been Verified spreads nothing but false information over the internet. Anyone who relies on their data is being duped. In my case, I had an annulment 30 years, and that's the only information they provide regarding me. Will they update the information? I've asked - they said no. These people don't care if they ruin lives.

The information was outdated and incomplete, especially criminal records and driving records. I sent a contact form request the day I signed up for the service stating I wanted to cancel. They never responded, I had forgotten about it thinking they would cancel the service. A month later I am being charged for it. I am in the process of requesting a refund, if they give it to me I will update the review here and everywhere else I left a review, a star or two depending on how well they handle the situation.
UPDATE - They responded quickly after sending an email regarding this issue. I was given a refund and my account was canceled as requested. I think this would be good for finding basic info on a person such as location, relatives etc. The criminal history may have some info but it is not guaranteed to have everything in it.

By publicizing peoples' home addresses, ages, relatives' names, past addresses, etc without their consent, BeenVerified places people in risk for physical harm by stalkers and financial fraud by identity thieves.
BeenVerified makes it virtually impossible to remove one's own personal information from their site. I folllowed the directions on their site for removal (which it takes forever to do, by the way, compared to similar sites), even got a confirmation from BeenVerified that it had indeed been removed. A few days later, I searched my name and got a result with my age, name, and even sugggested relatives (my actual relatives).
This is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

The lead in started out at $22.86. This was for unlimited searches during a month. For another $1.99 you can have a PDF report generated. After a lengthy wait for my first search less information was provided in my initial free Google search produced. Another offer was given at an additional cost of $14.99. This is this no money produced no better results. But wait there were more green buttons for more money that might produce something. They might have her do something that I didn't bother putting any more money in.
I immediately called been verified and expressed my concern while telling them to cancel and refund the charges. This they did so immediately. On that count I give them a 3 rating because their customer service was understanding and immediate.
I do not like services that require you to keep adding money to get further into the service which is why I did not give them a high rating but I do appreciate their customer service which is why they get a 3 rating. It is possible you will get better results but be prepared to pay more than the initial subscription fee for anything useful

The results gave me no information at all! Even paid for the upgrade and no information was turned up. Should have had property records, marriage cert, etc. Had nothing listed.

BEWARE! I was led to this site because I was trying to locate someone I had lost contact with years ago. It popped up and you kind of can't get out of it, it just keeps coming back. It takes a long time doing searches before you even get what you think is the addreth ss (not a phone number). Then I tried to use the address outside of this site to get the phone number but it took me back to the site. After an hour I was sucked in to signing up for what I thought was going to cost me $1.00 for a trial period. Then I did get some phone numbers, however these were all old phone numbers or wrong numbers. Never did get a correct number. This started on the 26th of the month, by the 1st of the next month I called them to make sure that they knew I did not want their service, it was useless to me. However, they apparently charge you for a full month immediately and even though I called them as soon as I did, (even have a conf # for the cancellation), they would not refund that charge. Total scam. They get you on that site and mislead you that they can get you the info you need for minimum amount then charge you full price. Do not trust them. Take care, stay away from 'Been Verified' I can verify that!
I was just looking up my old addresses to find out dates I moved in and moved out. It downloaded everything, found me and after all of it told me then I have to pay.
A) Its asking for too much money. B) Doesnt show anything in depth, photos, no nothing besides locations, numbers, and people they /may/ know.
