04/15/20.2 weeks since I placed my order and have not received an update customer service are so bad I called and chatted a few times no one same to care and lastly they hanged up on me I'm very disappointed. I have not received my item and no one has gotten back to till now
The worst heartless company I have ever shopped at! I asked for a refund for the Beyond + membership that I signed up for on March 17,2020. I signed up because I wanted to redecorate my house but due to the virus I can not. All the stores closed a few days later and the online shopping has limited or out of stock items. AND shipping is slow, but it does not matter because I can not afford to buy anything. Well, they refused to refund me. The girl on the phone said she and I quote "I DO NOT CARE about your situation and I am dealing with a world wide pandemic"! SERIOUSLY, everyone is. Well, I called to complain and the girl hung the phone up on me! For your best interest DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS MEMBERSHIP OR SHOP HERE! These people dont care about their customers and the prices are inflated anyway. Honestly I have never had an experience like this before. I am speechless.
Bed Bath and Beyond claims to offer several ways to cancel an order when you change your mind. All of them are fraudulent and none work.

They haven't shipped my order yet, but instead of allowing me to cancel, they say "we cannot cancel and order that has already shipped."
THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS, AND BE INVESTIGATED FOR INTERSTATE COMMERCE FRAUD.
On January 25, I ordered two sets of dinnerware that I thought would compliment one another. They are the same pattern, one blue, one white. The blue set arrived intact but the white set had a broken dinner plate and a broken salad plate. I emailed customer service on January 29, the day that they arrived and asked if I needed to return the entire set for replacement or, just the two broken pieces. I received an auto response saying that they would contact me within 48 hours. When I hadn't heard from them by February 1, I emailed again and received the same auto response, but no one contacted me. Yesterday, February 8, I left two reviews- one positive for the blue set and a less positive one about the white set with the broken dishes. They published the positive review right away, but today, I received an email asking me to resubmit my review on the white set. They highlighted a part of my review in their email to me so I assume it was the part they had a problem with. (Please see photos.)
Expected delivery the 6th per email
On the 7th I get an email saying it's delayed till the 8th(understandable due to bad weather) tracking says it is out for delivery. Now a message says it will be delivered on the 11th. Delay due to bad weather yet the entire state was clear and sunny all day. Location is 15 minutes from fedex site. Insult to injury I get an email tonight telling me half the order is delayed and won't arrive till the 6th FYI that was 2 days ago. Won't be ordering from here again
Worst online company to order from. If it was something I could find elsewhere and get 20% off I would have. Original order placed on 12/19/19, gave me a huge delivery window until 2/2/20, but the shipped email said 12/23/19, didn't arrive, new delivery date of 12/27/19, didn't arrive. Checked tracking still in GA pending. I called 3 times got no help. Finally talked to a supervisor on 2/2/20 and she reordered, but now the delivery window is 1/8/20 - 1/13/20. Almost a month since my original order was placed. Will see if it ever shows up. NEVER EVER will shop in their stores or online. They can keep their damn coupons!
Yes, I depend on this store for the most mundane and necessary objects, I will confess.
It is however wonderfully/dreadfully mediocre -- depending upon your POV.
This behemoth is now located in every sizable community in the US in all of its splendid "boringness"... another metastasis in corporate Americana. I find it one step above Walmart and Dollar General, in terms of quality and originality.
If you are looking for the most average of housewares, kitchen gadgetry, bed and bath linens and such... you might be satisfied.
I long for the days of the interesting and privately own and run kitchen goods store, linen shops and even the good old five and dime known as Ben Franklin's or Woolworth's.
Most of the sales "associates" are clueless... and the layout of the brick and mortar stores is confusing and ridiculous.

Our store in Hemet, CA is closing. They say they are reducing prices in order to reduce inventory. It seems they are also increasing prices on some items so they can claim a big discount. Can't say I will miss this retailer.
I recently had a very minor issue at The Bed Bath & Beyond at 2045 Dixwell Avenue Hamden, Connecticut. I was contacted by telephone by the store's Manager - Jill.
Jill was extremely helpful, incredibly understanding, genuinely polite and an absolute joy to deal with!
She has such an understanding of the Customer Service industry and takes such pride and commitment in the operation of her store in Hamden, Connecticut.
Hats off to you Jill and my utmost respect, for running such a Top Notch location!

I ordered Fiesta dishes, I received them in 5 different boxes on different days ( because they were coming from different warehouses I assume) 1 box of 24 bowls had 1 bowl not broken. A box of 17 dinner plates and 6 salad plates had 7 items broken. The next 2 boxes also had multi things broken. My last box of 5 salad plates was packed correctly and nothing broke. This will be the last time I order on line from them. When I returned them to the store they told me that they have seen this a lot. Here's an idea... hire new packers or train them better!
I went into the BBB location in San Leandro Ca to do some returns and make new Purchases. First off there were no baskets outside for my return items and I had to drag my heavy items by hand and in my Purse. After gathering new items I went to cashier to exchange my recieted items. After making purchases I forgot one item and asked employee if I could bring basket with me, she said yes. Later an employee asked if he could take my basket to the front while I shopped. I said no problem. After shopping I noticed my paid items had been searched by a employee and items were missing. They told me they searched the camera and I did not have this item in my possession when entering. The item was in my purse because they had no baskets for me to put all my items in. Bottom line they refused to give me back my items. They never contacted police or mall security they took it upon themselves to investigate me for theft without even questioning me one time. I will be filing a claim with my local courts via my attorney.
They had the giant pillows I wanted for the bed where we watch television. The old ones wore out after so many years.
To be honest, they gave a soft landing in starting my family recently.
I don't have much experience in shopping est linens for bed, and all sorts.
Their product are top quality. They were so helpful.

Overall my experience has been positive and satisfied with customer service at Bed bath and Beyond and will shop again.
Too many shady activities by this company to go over all they pulled in recent years. They sold us a robotic vacuum that turned out to be used even though we bought a BRAND new one, for example. Their most recent poor service had a woman (Ebony) checking why an item that I was confirmed was coming was not even shipped days after the online sale. She said she would e-mail me back and follow through to get me an answer but never did.
I was misled when I called back again after not hearing back from Ebony. Lorraine told me the item was out-of-stock. I researched and found it in California. After I found it, I contacted Lorraine again, and I was told it WAS available in USA but as a Canadian I could not get it. I bought it online at their Canadian site and it showed available when I did so. Worse yet, they were STEALING my funds. They removed my giftcard funds to pay for the item and only because I called twice am I getting my money back. They were keeping it.
They did NOT notify me the item is out-of-stock. They put my funds back only when I said they will not get away with keeping my money when nothing was sent.
When I complained to the corporate customer service manager Munraj, instead of helping me, he said future orders of mine will be cancelled. He now is trying to cheat me by not giving me my Canadian giftcard value in $Canadian dollars. He wants ME to suffer for exchange rate fluctuations.
Gene (Eugene) Castagna, the president, could not care less about their customers. I wrote a heartfelt message to him, only to have it passed back to Munraj. Poor management and they do not care about longtime customers.
Unfortunately, I have not read any reviews about Bed Bath and Beyond before using this site.
I noticed I can buy their membership for $30 so that I can get 20% discount on any item for one year.
I bought the membership and bought some small orders and got the discount.
Then later I send few orders as a gift to some friends.
Then I discovered They have canceled the orders and canceled the membership!
They canceled my paid one- year membership after few days
They stolen my money.
Do not use this site they will take your money for the membership and will cancel it without reason.
I ordered two Copper Fit sports bras. They arrived in a used coffee box. One was yellowed front and back. I returned the yellowed item to the store and they ordered a replacement. The replacement arrived in a used box. The inner box was torn and scotch taped. The item was the same yellowed bra I returned. Customer service was not apologetic when I reported the problem. Later they sent an apology email and offered a replacement. The third replacement arrived yellowed front and back and has two lipstick stains on the front. To say their online quality control is pathetic is an understatement!

I Bought a Bissell 2 in 1 Steam n Vacuum early in 2018, used it once and NEVER worked again after that... lost receipt, been trying to get a copy and they just told me they do not have my info even though I paid by Debit and now I can't return it and lost out on $300... DO NOT BUY from them... they suck!
Placed an order for a child's birthday party 10 days before. It never came and they said it was SUPPOSED to be delivered on time. Now I'm told that because it came from a Vendor, it's their fault. The Vendor didn't process my order for another 6 days!
NOT FAIR! I now go to the party with no gift. Horrible customer service!

Answer: How can you share a success story when you hold on three separate phone calls for an excess of 16 hours to resolve a refund issue where you are not able to make contact through email because of a shortage of employees yet you are told that you exceeded the 15-minute window? I have been waiting for my refund since the 13th of August and I have yet to receive it
Answer: Bed Bath & Beyond is a scam! They took my money and NEVER sent my order and won't give me a refund! The worste online shopping experience I have ever had!
