I recently purchased an "Americana by Meco 2 in 1 Water Smoker" from BBQ Guys. I used it a total of three times and experienced a recurring issue with the electrical connection on the heating element cutting in and out. The only remedy for this was for someone to stand over the smoker and manually hold the connection in place which doesn't make for a very pleasant cooking experience on a hot summer evening.

I contacted their customer service department in the hope that they would offer some solution, perhaps a replacement part, that would solve the problem and make the smoker usable. Unfortunately they replied with a form e-mail informing me that I was past the thirty day return window, basically telling me "sorry your smoker doesn't work, but hey, better luck next time." Needless to say I won'd be doing business with them again.

I'm not shocked by poor, inattentive customer service these days, but I do feel it's appropriate and helpful to warn others about it.

Big fat zero to all services. Damaging instead of cleaning. Just stay away from this company uncertified bbq cleaners … Gas!

Paid them almost $5000 and got a Coyote grill with a sensor that did not work. They told me to go to make a warranty claim on the manufacturer. This is for a sensor that could be mailed in an envelope. In my world, if you buy something from a seller, and they ship something defective, they should make it right.

Sent us broken items. We emailed as soon as we opened their packaging and they claim it's outside their damage policy. Makes no sense. Beware of these guys

After receiving a faulty smoker, then speaking to several CS staff and mfg of Smokin Tex, PROBLEM has been resolved! And to their credit, the last Smokin Tex smoker purchased, I used for for ten years and passed it down to family. Will probably purchase another at a later date.

Should have known better. Few years ago I had difficulty with BBQ Guys and their complete lack of customer service. On July 4 I ordered a grill that was on sale and promised to ship within 24 hours. Grill dud ship from So Cal on July 6 and arrived Portland area July 8. Great! I was expecting, as indicated on the tracking portal, a July 11 delivery. Nope. Every day I check the tracking portal and the expected delivery date is bumped another day. Now expected July 15. Doubt I'll get it. The warehouse it is in is literally 5 miles from me. No calls. No explanation. I had made plans based upon the info I was provided. I have reached to BBQ Guys; however, the return email promises a response in 3-5 days. I have disputedthe charge with my CC and will buy at my local Costco where the item is in stocks and $100 cheaper. Buyer beware.

Arrived cracked,,, called customer service,, got a run around,,, they gave me two choices,,, send it back at a 30% restocking fee(WTF), re stock a craked egg? Or they'd send me some high heat plaster to fix it? Screw them, bought a diamond drill bit, dilled a hole at the end of the crack, filled the hole with high heat mortor, done deal,,, should have spent the money and bought a Green Egg, live snd learn

I purchased a large wood burning pizza oven and added the assembly service. I am very pleased with the purchased and the man from Handy that assembled the unit was excellent. I highly recommend this site!

Thye don't tell you everythign you need, shows you lower prices for similar items on other sites but after you order you realize you're missing important addons, shady

Ordered several Kamado joe replacement parts on Friday via internet. Order fully delivered to me via fed ex on Tuesday... 4 days later... Excellent! Super fast ship. Order 100% fulfilled and all items correct. Original Kamado parts.

I recently set up an outdoor dream kitchen with the help from components purchased through BBQGuys.com. They were not the cheapest, but they provide high quality products and services. Shipping was quick and very well packaged. Directions and extra parts for a variety of installation options were provided.
When I did have a problem with a gas hose connection being too short, they took care of the return with no problems despite the fact that I purchased the hose months earlier. See, there was a delay installing the outdoor kitchen due to a very slow contractor and plumbing subcontractor.
