I've had to contact this service twice now and they are always quick to respond and put my heart at ease
I had concerns about my horse and she offered several suggestions to help.
I didn't know any service like Ask A Veterinarian existed. Through this service I was able to have my questions answered and address my dog's problem with at home care rather than visit an emergency after hours vet. Great resource.
I spoke to a vet tech who confirmed my cats symptoms and relayed them to the vet perfectly. The vet was online with me in less than 1 minute and was very informative.
This is a great service for direct answers from a Vet without having to take time off of work to pay a hefty vet bill for the same answers.
The Dr I chatted with was very kind and assured me that the amt however much he ingested which I told her I was not sure, is DEFINITELY NOT LIFE THREATENING.
I have cats with persistent Giardia … the vet was able to give me some comprehensive helpful info that was much more thorough than I had received previously when seeing a vet in person. It's still going to take some time/work to get my cats healed but this information helped a lot!
I was given a way to help my chihuahua ease her sensitive stomach and saved a trip to the vet. It was fast and easy.
My 14 yrs old teacup Maltese was experiencing problems with his back legs and was unable to move.
I found an injured bird and did not know where to get help and how to aid the bird. They connected me with a vet who provided the information and support I needed to manage the situation. The vet was great!
We live just outside city limits and no longer have a traveling farm vet. When we woke up to a farm emergency with our flock, we turned to this site for immediate help. Dr. Mike was incredibly helpful and helped guide us to a proper disgnosis and medications. He even provided some post medication plans to bolster immunity and get our girls back to health. His help and guidance, no doubt, has saved our flock.
Dr. Brontë was super responsive snd knowledgeable. He helped calm my nerves after my daughters Bernadoodle ate his medicine and I was worried about poisoning from that.
Very pleased with Dr Wilkerson's advise. Will use again if need arises.
Very smooth. Clear communication and next steps advice.
My dog has been sick for days and I needed to find out why
Dr Paul helped me deal with the problem during the height of my anxiety with my puppy's emergency. Best of all he gave me the next steps to take based on my puppy's situation. He also asked me to check in after 2 hours and then followed up the following day. I did go to my puppy's vet the following day to rule out Parvovirus.
Both the assistant and the vet seemed to understand the problem I've been having--even used words that describe the issue better. I'll have to try the suggestion that was made. Overall a good experience that I will try again.
Ask a vet saved me a late night trip to an after hours vet hospital. After my dog had a sudden allergic reaction and his face swelled, they were able to answer my questions and I was able to give him some Benadryl. It was fast, easy and the vet I spoke with was super friendly and helpful.
Our dog ate some vitamins and instead of panicking we were able to reach out and get advice. All is well!
Extremely helpful and responsive, answered my questions quickly.
I was offered possible causes, including a possible virus and bumble foot. Without actually seeing the chicken it's difficult to make a diagnosis. I found the possible causes helpful. She is not doing worse—I'm keeping an eye on her and she is separate from the other chickens.
