WARNING: Do NOT Purchase from Artistly.ai – Misleading Claims, Broken Promises, and Unresolved Refunds I'm writing this to protect others from falling into the same trap I did with Artistly.ai and its associated products (VideoExpress and TalkingPhotos). I purchased their Premium package based on bold claims that the platform could generate ebooks, craft stories, and offer advanced creative tools. As a passionate educator and storyteller, I was excited to use these features to build meaningful, printable resources. What I received instead was a shallow, gimmicky interface that produced a few generic photos—absolutely no capacity to create ebooks, stories, or anything close to what was advertised. I immediately contacted their support team to express my dissatisfaction and requested a refund for all three products. After three days, they refunded $87.30 for VideoExpress and TalkingPhotos. However, the separate $132.30 I paid for Artistly.ai was never returned. Despite multiple emails and a response claiming the refund had been processed and would appear in my account within 3–5 days, it's now day 6 and still nothing. Today, I received another message confirming only the $87.30 refund—completely ignoring the Artistly.ai charge. This is not just poor customer service—it's fraudulent behavior. Artistly.ai made false claims to elicit purchases, failed to deliver the promised services, and has not honored their refund commitment. They are headquartered in Canada, and this kind of deceptive conduct violates Canadian consumer protection laws. Furthermore, as an American citizen, I believe this constitutes interstate fraud, which is a federal offense. Artistly.ai is NOT what it claims to be. If you're considering purchasing from them, don't. Their platform is misleading, their support is evasive, and their refund process is unreliable. I urge others to avoid this company and report any similar experiences. Let's hold these companies accountable and protect fellow creators from being exploited.
