Complete and utter incompetence. Hope you don't seriously need something because you aren't going to get it until after you've died.
These people are like so many today who can abuse the system and cash in from people that often can't afford to throw money away. They will send you an order even when you haven't made an order and then expect you to pay for whatever they send. You can't half understand any of their people from India or wherever. This is the swamp of customer service.
Do not order Oxygen concentrators from Apria Conyers Branch, You will never get it. Waiting since January! Other branches have tried to assist Angie, but no go! Pt cannot carry any size tanks, per physician.
I am a current customer at Apria. Horrible customer service and have no idea to run a business. Takes over a month to get supplies, if you even recieve them. Changing companies due to their lack of cutomer service, Tell you the same story, order is being processed, bunch of crap.I will be glad to get rid of them Do yourself a favor and go elswhere, you don't need the aggravation. I would rate them at -10 if they had that on the scale.
A person in our household needs oxygen 24/7 so we use Apria to deliver oxygen tanks. To reorder, we have to call Apria every week (no standing orders allowed). They don't have enough agents so its a minimum 15 minute wait on the phone, and half the time the call rolls over to leaving a message and waiting for a callback. Its basically a monopoly in our area so they spend as little money taking care of customers as they can get away with. I would switch in a minute if there was another provider.
My husband had surgery a few months ago, part of the prescribed recovery was the use of a machine from this terrible company. First, my husband wasn't really into the idea when his doctor first presented it, but when he was given the device, he went ahead and took it. The following appointment, his doctor tried to use it and found the machine would not work. For this, his doctor told him he was going to call the company to figure out how to get it to work and on his next visit, he would teach my husband how to use it so that we could do the treatments at home. By the next visit, the doctor has no resolution and then felt the device was unnecessary. So my husband initiated a return of the device.
This terrible company sent out a broken device that never worked, now has the broken device back and has the nerve to charge everyone money for it. Kaiser isn't off the hook here either, because it was the Kaiser doctor who ordered a device my husband already did not want. Nevermind the fact that it didn't work and his doctor would later flippantly decide it wasn't even necessary. So Kaiser is just as bad to me. But this ridiculous company is greedy and only cares about dollar signs. I see they have been sued in the past for similar practices and are currently in litigation over a security breach. Anyone else forced to deal with them, has my sincere thoughts and prayers.
I wouldn't let my neighbors dog use this company! My insurance paid for all but $100 of this claim but they have consistently harassed me by phone saying I owe over $600! I have my EOB but they're so rude and will not even speak to me about my proof! Someone even left a door hanger saying they were at my home to pick my machine up! My next step is to get an attorney!
NEVER let your doctor send your rx to them!
Been waiting for two months to get my supplies as a new patient. I transferred from another ok company to Apria because I changed to HMO, I own the machine but Each time I call I get a different answer. Not to mention there is no way you can get a hold of a supervisor or a manager. They created two accounts for me and that caused lots of issues until One rep solved that issue. They are supposed to set you up as new patient and get the authorization and all, but they asked me to do it and I am in the run around between Apria, Aetna, and my doctor. I decided to first drop them and second get a PPO plan so I don't have to deal with this non sense.
I have severe obstructive sleep apnea. When my old Cpap died after 10 yrs, I had to get another Rx. Dr prescribed it & sent it to Apria, It took 2 weeks to get the new Cpap. I literally almost died. My PB rose to nearly 200. I was begging them to get it to me. Finally it arrived. After 2 yrs it started making a loud squealing noise that kept us up all night. I called Apria they said bring it in. I left it with them & they promised to get back to me ASAP. After a week I called back, they had to take a message. The tech called back 2 days later & sd she had not been told it was there, bet she checked it & it was A-OK. I explained the problems I was having, she sd I would have o come in with my mask. Drove across town again, met with her & turned the Cpap on. It immediately began a loud screeching noise, which she seemed shocked by. She sd she would send it to ResMed. Sd it would take about a week & she would call back with cost of repair. Sd it would take about 2 weeks to repair & return. Three & 1/2 weeks later- No call back, can't get a hold of the tech. I could have died & they don't care.
Jason, Manager made my phone calls so comfortable and he was so very helpful to take time out for my concerns and still doing his job. Went right to the source of my concern and took action to relieve my worries.
My doctor sent work order and my sleep study results to Apria. Each time I called, they said they had the work order but not the sleep study. I called my doctor, and they told me they had sent everything to Apria and will send them again. Over a period of six months, my doctor sent the required documents a dozen times and each time Apria claimed that sleep study was missing. Finally, I asked my doctor to fax the document to me. Apparently, each time the doctor's office faxed the documents they had placed the work order on top and sleep study at the bottom. I changed the order of documents (placed sleep study on top and then the work order) and faxed the documents to Apria. This time it worked. Finally after six month the CPAP machine was shipped to me. I set up appointment with a therapist to go over the equipment. I then tried the machine and it did not work for me. I was then told that a therapist will call me to figure out which mask will work for me. Few days later I had a missed call from the therapist asking me to call her back. I called back the number, and the person who answered the call had no idea who had called me or even did not know why I need to talk to a therapist. I was supposed to exchange and get a fitting mask free of charge within 30 days. But that 30 days had started from the day they set up my account before even shipping the equipment. Finally, by the time I was able to talk to a therapist for full face mask, 30 day was past. The therapist told me they will add a note to my file that I am still eligible for a full face mast. After several other calls and waiting days to be contacted again, they told me I was not eligible for a mask since the 30 day was gone. Now I have a useless machine that Apria keeps charging me and my insurance company. So far, they have charged me on the day the account was set up, and a second time right 30 days after that. I am returning their equipment before the next billing cycle. I have already reported them to my insurance company. I will also make stop payment on my credit card so that I will not be charged next month. I have lost more than eight month not having/getting a usable medical device that I have been prescribed by my doctor. Even if Apria does not refund me, I am happy to finally go with another capable company. Apria cannot even read the second page of their incoming fax documents. I feel that was partially my fault that waited so long and hoped they can deliver. That was a mistake.
Horrid customer service. Got new cpap and two days and a row they stood me up on Telehealth visits On how to use machine. Pitiful service. Typical in todays world. Do not expect any service. Horrid. I'd rate zero if I could
Title says it all. I don't know why I need to add 100 characters beyond that but here we are at 100 characters.
My order was placed over a month ago, with several follow calls to find out what the delay was. I was told it was "in process." Got the same comment today, asked to speak to a supervisor, who was too busy to take my call, but relayed for the FIRST TIME, that they were waiting for authorization from my insurance. REALLY! This could have been dealt with a month ago, by a simple phone call, or the correct response to any of my phone calls. So sad they have a monopoly in this area, because I sure would not do business with them by choice. Sleep specialists, hah! I stop breathing 40-60 times an hour for heavens sake! No rush though, please, take your time and continue to provide your top notch service. Karol
Great people
BUT they trained me on what cpap I was getting
They sent a completely different cpap
I called they said they shipped what was available
And then said call your doctor for what cpsp you want
I'm sry but this is very poor service
It seems like it's always a hassle to get supplies from this company.
It's funny that when you call, they give you all challenging questions to verify who you are, but yet they got hacked.
Try to pay my bill for three months, figure out everybody's password remove / dumped. When they got hacked, they canceled it, but they didn't tell us that they canceled our passwords.
Their online billing website is a mess. I think the only way to solve the problem is to bring a class lawsuit against them. For letting our information be stolen.
These people do not empower their workers to do well for the customer so they don't.
Asked three times to have my order shipped right away as I was going on extended vacation. Each time I was told my request would be forwarded to supervisor but the shipment arrived two weeks afterwards.
No excuse! Called in to complain, was told to leave call back number, missed the calls when agent called me, agent left callback number that went directly to voicemail. BASICALLY LEAVE A CALL BACK NUMBER YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF ANSWERING!
This order was late and had missing item.
THEY COULD CARE LESS.
Only two things for these folks to do:
1 ship product to arrive on time
2 collect money
Fails miserably on first item!
I'm considering paying out of pocket to a competitor, just to avoid them. Have never had a good experience with them going back more than 15 years. The latest two were that one order was still sent to my previous address after assuring mutable times I wanted it shipped to one of their own offices. This round, I ordered back on May 11th, called for update on May 31st where they said it should be in the next day. Checked back today (June 6th) they told me whoever ordered it did it wrong and I would have to resubmit.
I had received a sleep Apnea machine of which I was not able to use a get to sleep with after contacting the company to come get machine several times with no show I took it upon myself to return machine they sent me a bill and said my insurance company refused to pay which was a lie they never contacted my insurance provider they now want me to pay for machine of which I could not use they are wanting to rob me I have called several time but the last time someone from the Philippines got nasty with me and said they would just keep billing me.
RE:APRIA Healthcare
Be aware of this company, they will do anything to get money out of customers.
I have tried for over a year to return equipment they delivered to my doorstep without my consent. I have called, sent messages and letters for this past year, a couple of times they scheduled a time to pick the equipment up, but never came.
Now they have sent the bill to a collection agency, and I am up for almost $100 for equipment I never authorized, never needed and never used!
