I was contacted via social media and persuaded to transfer cryptocurrency from Coinbase to a platform called GridPorte. I was told my funds would be traded by an experienced trader and was shown profits on the platform.

When I attempted to withdraw my funds, I was instructed to connect my Coinbase wallet to GridPorte. Coinbase advised me not to connect my wallet to an unregulated third-party platform and informed me that GridPorte has been linked to reported scam activity.

GridPorte then stated that the only alternative was to pay an upfront 5% fee to release my funds. I agreed and asked that the fee be deducted from my balance. After this, communication stopped. This occurred around December of last year.

I later contacted SoulagementLLC for recovery assistance. After providing documentation, the recovery process began and is ongoing. I have recovered a portion of my losses so far.

I am sharing this experience so others can make informed decisions before engaging with this platform.
