Buyer beware
June 5, 2025

I purchased 2 pairs of prescription glasses for $200. They took forever to come with tracking that did not work. The frames are cheap plastic, which i was okay with for the price of the frame and the unique styles. However, the arms are way off and not able to bend to fix. One pair was sunglasses but the tint is barely there thus they just look like light transitions. The bifocal is not in the right places basically making it impossible to use- id have to be cross eyed. We discovered that the script was put in the opposite eyes ( they are not that far off from each other) but they offered no solution for any of the issues or refund. Just a 20 credit to order again. I cant use these at all. The site says quick easy refunds but they won't give you one. It's ashame cuz i do really like the frames colors and style.

Horrible, Cheap & ATROCIUS Glasses
April 27, 2025

It took 3 weeks to send me these PLASTIC, $dollar$ store glasses? It literally look like you walked directly from the factory, across the street to the cheapest store you could find, picked up these cheap azz frames and attempted to put a prescription in them! The box they came in is worth more than the glasses themselves! And oh, your website is awesome when it comes to advertising, and I can't speak for anyone else, but the quality of my glasses SUCKS! Not to mention that you cannot effectively clean the lenses because they are so flimsy that I know they will break in half annnnd they WERE SUPPOSED to be transition frames, but they barely turn dark in the sunlight... smdh. Now, I am stuck with these $104 PAPER THIN CHEAP dayum glasses because I'm not about to spend one more Penny trying to return them because it's not worth it. Your return policy is as follows: The time frame for return & exchange must not exceed 30 days from when the original order was received. All items must be returned in their original condition, without scratches or signs of wear, and must not be altered in any way. I ordered the glasses on 3/27, but did not rec them until 4/20/25, so how in the hell is that enough time to return them? Remove my e-mail from your company roster because I am blocking your azz from sending me anymore e-mails regarding discounts or anything else. This negates everything China, Japan or where ever the hell you are, said on social media about the so-called decent quality of your products. Apparently you made sure there was no listed PHYSICAL LOCATION for your company, so how about you consider yourself WARNED! Don't take the American consumer for granted like most companies here and abroad because your azz's can be dismissed as well.

Thieves, liars and poor Customer Service.
February 2, 2025

This frame is very large and doesn't look good on my face. I emailed customer service to return them. They haggled with me for 2 days while offering discounts instead of the refund, if I kept the glasses. They also said that I can only receive$12 from the $40 I paid for the frame. This is not stated in their return policy. Going back and forth shows their unprofessionalism, immaturity and silliness. DO NOT ORDER FROM AOOLIA! They are unprofessional and will screw you out your $$!

Don't order from this company!
September 18, 2024

There is small print that says after 7-12 days they will express ship your glasses in 4-6 days after completion of the glasses. That express is $25.00. So $25 for getting them in 3-4 weeks! I broke my glasses, thought they would be quick, NOT! I called 13 times and it rang then cut me off. They sent 9 emails about my address and it was on the order! I tried the live chat, no help at all! I have not received the glasses, probably never will. I'm on Medicare and out $77. I need glasses so I have to go out and get a pair so I can see. They can't even tell me when I will get the glasses. I could have gone to another eyeglass store and already gotten them. So, this month is not looking good. I wish I knew about this company before. First time I got them online. Never again! This is a nightmare! If you need glasses quickly do not order from here. All my dealings with this company have been extremely shady! Shame on you Aoolia, you lied!

Beware
May 24, 2024

There are lots of great online glasses sites now and I was lured in by the variety offered by this company. If you get lucky and buy a frame you like, it's a good value. However, unlike Zeelool and Vooglam and Zenni and Lensmart (and more!), this is the absolute worst of the bunch for any kind of customer service. They have bots that will keep you in endless loops without resolving your issue and have so many conditions in their satisfaction guarantee. It's not worth the headache with so many great alternatives out there- avoid this scam company profiting off the business models set up by their competitors but not offering good service.

They do not meet their mission statement
May 22, 2024

This experience has been over purchasing glasses at Aoolia.com This is an ongoing experience, which I've been sharing with the public because of my concern for anyone dealing with a company like this.
I would give them ZERO 's, for company policy, and customer service.
I gave 1 because in general, as long as you don't need to return them, exchange them, or need customer service in any capacity, then they will be okay. As long as you don't buy the "transition lenses" that don't work for whatever reason, on random pairs of glasses. The transitions are a fluke, but the customer service is not.

I purchased 3 pairs of prescription lenses. 2 pairs had transition coating.
However, 1 pair of transitions lenses don't completely return to light. To the point where it actually shades my vision. Another pair pinches my head, even though they are the correct size

I looked up the process for returning and exchanging. I emailed customer service.

Their first response to me was to send a video of the transitions not transitioning, for the "purpose of helping their team fix flaws in the future."
Which is a silly request considering it would take 10 minutes for these lenses to even start to go back due to the type of transitioning they use apparently.
I said I can provide you with photos that are time stamped, which I did.
2 days later, I get an email back stating that " they do not accept the pair back that is not transitioning that it is supposed to be that way."
As smart as that is.that means that even though I can't see at night in these glasses, if I were to wear them like they say, drive, and have an accident, I could sue the pants off this company!
Furthermore, they state in the same breath, that they will accept the pair back with no questions, that are pinching my head.!?

(I'm already growing tired of this reps hyjinx.
The last company I needed to an exchange a pair of glasses that didn't fit correctly, that offered "satisfaction guaranteed" took two emails and required no problems. Just sent me another pair didn't even ask for the others back.
Instead I feel that this company is acting like I have nothing better to do than scam glasses on the Internet. I've spent hundreds of dollars, how is this an unfair exchange!?)

SO, to reply, I copy and past in the email the company's own Mission Statement of" an exceeding online shopping experience." Along with their satisfaction guarantee.
I offer the information on the two replacement pairs I would like ( with no transition coating, might I add). So as to explain without emotion, that I expect them to honor their policies.
I basically negate their reps rude disambiguation of my issues.
(At this point I'm certain I could sue them for negligence.
I've been polite and proper all along. This is a business, and yet I feel they're trying to personally jab at me.)

So I tried to call their customer service at the appropriate times listed, (which are very few,)
It says to "have the order number ready,,". And then hangs up. Every time you call it hangs up.

Nothing left to do but wait for them to respond...
Two MORE days and the email reply states "they are happy to do the exchange, but to include the item numbers of the glasses to exchange."

Okay I put the item numbers with everything again back into a 4th email.

Another day later, "They then tell me they need to process how much it will cost."
Well why haven't they done that already!?

I'm fed up now, and I simply want a barcode to send to the post office or an address to get this going!
So I contact the Chat" thinking they can look it up and send the info here, help speed of up so I'm not wasting any more of their time and vice versa.
NOPE, they tell me that they haven't finished calculating the difference. I replied, "yes, I received that already, I just need info on how to send them back", if they SO insist.
They say I have to wait at least 24 hours before they can get back to me about a shipping label...
What the heck are they talking about!?

Okay that's my experience... I would absolutely never purchase from these people again on principal.
There are plenty of other places to shop for glasses online. They claim to honor veterans discounts I can only imagine how difficult that could be to get done.
So I'm not going to get my husband glasses here for sure.

I will be writing there corporate which is located in the UK of all places.
This kind of thing is exactly why people need to stand up against companies that act like they are legitimate online, but really what they do is take people's money, and waste time to make it difficult, so that you won't want to exchange or return items.
I actually have a great deal of anxiety around confrontation with people. I shop online because I have trouble talking to people in person sometimes while purchasing things.
If the company's mission statement is to make this exceedingly easy for for customers. Then why is customer service bullying?
Telling me that my concerns were not valid, was really disconcerting.

Companies need to honor their policies and guarantees that they state online just like any other business would.
Being an online business does not negate or give an exception to the rule.

I placed a review on Trust Pilot,
Voicing my same concerns about this process.
I received a response from Aoolia underneath my review on Trust Pilot. Many other people had complaints about Aoolia as well. Most all of them, legitimate. Anyway, I've included the screenshot of Aoolia's response.
It's completely worthless. In no way does it help me resolve my issue.
I also include a pic of the 3 pairs
I bet you can tell which pair is the one that doesn't return fully to clear. Funny that they're rep told me that that was normal.
