SCAM.

Not sure how this is still a legal business. They are acting out fraudulent business practices day in and day out and all of their employees know it. Their call center is in the Philippines somewhere and you get the runaround every time and they will keep charging your card for absolutely nothing. We had to have a fresh card made because of their fraud.

Deplorable and dishonest business practices and they've been doing it for 20+ years now. First under the business name ServiceMagic, now Homeadvisor/ Angi. Someone close these criminals down and throw the book at their CEO.

This is the second time I have gotten a professional to do work needed at my house. The first was for the electrician and the second, was the plumbing done today. I am glad Angi does a very good job of vetting people who are true professionals and are easy to work with ---for the most part, pleasant and trustworthy and really know what they are doing and you come out more than just satisfied with the job that was done but hopefully because of the experience, remain a repeat customer.

I would recommend 100%, very professional clean up the site after work is finished put everything back in it's place would recommend these guys 100%

Called Bricks chimney service westmont nj for our yearly cleaning of fireplace chimney.they tell you they will clean all and inspect. Next day I realized they never took off the chimney cap thus they never went above and cleaned the chimney/flue. Did not brush or clean out 15 foot chimney. The most important aspect of chimney cleaning so the homeowner can rest knowing. Never a chimney fire due to blockage or creasote buildup. They more focused on an inspection taking photos to price repair work, They are misleading customers by only cleaning your inside firebox and nothing above that level My husband had to remove the chimney cap, buy brushes and ckean the flue himself so I don't know why I paid $279 to Bricks company. Nice people but they do not do a chimney cleaning. We have images of the creasote removed from the chimney flue by my husband. I paid for a chimney cleaning that was never done. Hire another company if you want your fireplace cleaned. The inspection is a joke.as well. Just hunting for work

The professional I have haire agree with me and have asked that if I want to hire them again I shoul contactact that directly. Website is very difficult to navigate. Call site has static phones and reps wire unintelligible accents. Nobody can help you. I recently had a guy come to clean the leaves from my lawn. Great guy, did a great guy. The, all of a sudden, two weeks later, another guy shows up to do the same thing. Unbeknownst to me, I was signed up for "recurring" service at over $600 each visit. It took me an hour to get somebody from AnGI to help me. Then the people BLamEd me! I got it straighten out, the the whole experience was a nightmare. Ditch AnGI. Ask friends and do your own research. Forget AnGI. Professionals Agee. Terrible.

This was my first time using the service therefore I'm not a member and never will be after my experience.
PROS: Firstly, I would like to say that the person who provided cleaning services for me was wonderful! He was professional, kind, on time, and efficient.
CONS: Miscommunication in scheduling. I called in and booked with an "Angi's list" customer service attendent,we discussed 2 people coming over to clean for 2 hrs. I also spoke with a second attendant who confirmed. I got a text to get the app for more details, and the info was incorrect: 1 person for 3 hrs. When the individual came over, he stayed for 4 hrs.
When I called customer service to explain how what transpired was not what was discussed, they had no interest in taking ownership of their mistake. In addition to the experience being inconvenient because I believed it would take 2 hrs when it took 4hrs; I also felt unsafe because I was unsure of when the person was supposed to leave. They said they could do nothing because I am not a member of Angi's list.

I purchased a desk and purchased assembly. Well I had appointment for Sunday at 130.30 minutes before said appointment time, I received text saying that because of a call out I was being rescheduled to Thursday. The assember arrived, and after about an hour and half, he informed me that it was going to take at least another hour. He let them know, and then I received text stating that it would be an additional charge. REALLY!
Big time SCAM! I contracted for one price, not an hourly wage.
Never will use Angi services again.

Guys, think twice before signing up with Angi. Do you research on youtube first and trust me, 3 years with my business listed but almost 2 years having it on pause all the time. You can get wrecked with the leads, then when you get a good lead from them, you will need to charge a lot more just to cover the leads that you paid for but didn't get it. Also, you can claim when you had a bad lead, if approved (rare) you NEVER get your money back, they keep your money in the plataform. You also can only pause the leads for 48h on the app, if you stay away the phone for 2 days... then they will shell you with leads at the first minute when the 48h are over. Btw, most of the time you pay a bunch of money just to talk to customers that are only browsing. Be careful with Angi, they are experts in taking money out of your pocket, that's it. I just lost 2k in bad leads and cancel my subscription with them.
