Who is THE fraudster?

I want to share my experience with Amuse, because what happened here was not just disappointing - it was outrageous.

I signed up to distribute my music and, before I could do anything meaningful, I was required to pay a membership fee of around 20 euros. I paid it. Then I invested even more of my time preparing my release, uploading my tracks, filling in all the required information, and submitting everything for review.

And then, out of nowhere, Amuse blocked my account and accused me of intending to use the platform for fraud or artificial streaming manipulation.

That is a very serious accusation. So naturally, I asked a very simple question: based on what? What exactly did I do? What triggered this decision? What evidence was there? Amuse gave me no real answer. No specifics. No transparency. No meaningful explanation at all.

I then tried to explain the situation in good faith. I made it clear that I had no intention of doing anything fraudulent, that these tracks were uploaded for legitimate use, and that I was not planning any kind of manipulation. Again, no real response. Just vague, dismissive communication.

At that point, I stopped trying to prove that I was not guilty of something they could not even properly explain. I simply asked for my money back, because if you take someone's payment, block them, refuse to provide the service, and refuse to explain why, then the least you can do is issue a refund.

Instead, I received another generic brush-off saying, essentially, that they would do nothing.

That is the part I find especially disgusting: they accuse the customer of fraudulent intent, while their own behavior looks deeply questionable. They take your money, deny you the service, provide no clear justification, avoid proper communication, and then keep the payment anyway. If you treat people like this, you should not be surprised when your own conduct starts to look dishonest.

I am not writing this because my release was rejected. I am writing this because of the complete lack of transparency, the refusal to explain a serious accusation, and the refusal to refund money for a service that was never actually provided.

My conclusion is simple: Amuse was quick to label me as suspicious, but in the end, their own behavior was the most suspicious part of this entire experience.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before paying for this service.

I really liked amuse at first they make collecting you distribution very easy and smooth.
How ever i stoppped using them for a few years until a few days ago and am remembering why i stopped.
It is beacuse their customer service is nothing but garbage. They don't want to answer your questions they get; patronizing, rude and disrespectful borderline degenerate
So if something ever goes wrong they expect you to just sit there and take it so i would steer clear for these reasons
They need to fix that customer service they not perfect!

Incompetent

For 2 months I have been trying to get Amuse to monetise my video's on Youtube. Instead of doing that simple thing, they have flagged my account as being in violation of their terms of use. I have sent over 25 emails asking them to show me specifically how I am in violation and they completely ignore that. I know I'm not in violation, they are just inept and are hoping I will go away - I won't!
