Their business model is based on convincing you to sign on to the program, and then they solicit you with hard sales tactics for other services, some of which are unsavory. For instance, they urged me to pay to trademark a book title, which is not allowed under US law. Even after I pointed this out, the same employee tried to sell me on an audio book. Their excuse for violating US law was to send me a link they said showed they weren't doing anything illegal. But the link was to the intellectual property rights page on the KDP site. This had nothing to do with trademarking a book title. Either they didn't understand the law, or they were trying to bamboozle me. Both, most likely.
Most important of all, the quality of their work is terrible - everything they produced needed massive editing. Also, they offered to produce a paperback edition for KDP, but the manuscript came back with literally hundreds of errors. They clearly did not know what they were doing.
I cancelled the contract after a few weeks, and it's now been a month since they told me a full refund is on the way. Their excuses for the delay change every time I contact them. The latest said: "As there is a merchant involved between the bank, they are currently reviewing the payment and will authorize it once their review is complete. Once authorized, the full amount will be credited to your account." This makes no sense, so I asked what merchant was involved other than their own company. No reply.
As I said, avoid this company. If you want to contact me, I have complete documentation for everything I've said here and more.
