It took a while for my filters to arrive, but when they did the packaging was in good shape and when I opened the box the filters were also good. The. 5 (1/2) micron carbon filters were heavy and felt like they had carbon material in them, but the 5-micron carbon filters are very light, and they appear to only be painted with some thin layer of carbon, not enough carbon to really do anything. I thought they would be carbon through and through. Overall, for the cheap price I will probably use them, but I will try and buy some full carbon 5- micron filters somewhere else

Old filters were much thicker or texturous on the filter side and trapped much more dust and extraneous particles, your filters are very thin in comparison and allow more particulate particles to penetrate into the house.
