Ordered a gown that was supposed to have long sleeves to cover a burnt arm. They were to make it according to the pcture that had long sleeves but when it arrived the sleeves were up to my elbows. They kept me in a chat for about an hour and gave me every excuse in the book for not refunding my order. I coped all of the conversations I had with them. I was asked if a tailor here could fix it, told they had to pay for the material and would not be able to pay their workers and even that maybe my arm was too fat? I am a beanpole! Then I kept getting sad faces, crying faces and so on. How did they get a gold medallion rating? I finially told them I would singlr handedly try to ruin there company, so this will be posted everywhere for a very long time!

I bought a meat grinder from "The wind crafts Co" in China. I knew the rating for this site is pretty low so I just tried petty cash product costing $10.00 to test the water.

As I expected, the product arrived late and broke for the first time in use. The plastic parts were made out of cheap material and brittle. The first time when I turned the handle, it broke the hole that the handle goes in. IT IS WASTE OF MONEY and TIME.

They did not care about the feedback because they renew the product posting and old feedback is no longer posted for new potential buyers.

Aliexpress taking parts for sellers. You can not file a claim when you discover that you have been scammed. You can only file a claim if you do not receive the item.
I have been scammed by Aliexpress. I have bought many electronics and ALL of them become
Broken after a few times use.
My suggestion DO NOT buy electronics from Aliexpress. They look cheap but they do not
Work. And warranty is a joke.

Well: aliexpress is the end customer portal, while alibaba is the B2B portal for bigger purchases (1000pcs and up).

I'd like to compare it to ebay in chinese with just the option to buy it now!

I guess one needs to be very patient when buying from asia. Usually there is nothing wrong, sellers are friendly folks as long as nobody do upset them with wrong wording.

I don't know how aliexpress buyer protection works, but I guess they are using an escrow system.

Can't give them a bad name. All orders from different sellers went smooth, but took their time (talking in weeks).

Usually on Ali you find the best price. Alternatively have a look at banggood with their incredible customer service and world wide free shipping.

I have had lots of things shipped now from this site direct have a few on the way now too! Cant see anything wron with it to be honest. I used to shop on one of the biggest auction sites in the uk/us but I wont name names they know who they are, no fault of thiers it seems there are more scammers on those sites than ever before, at least you get reviews to go by on this site. I have yet to ask for my money back on any item and hope to do more business with them in the future! I have had to wait for a refund on items 6 times over the last couple of months on the other evilbay so each to thier own.

To be honest, i am a seller from aliexpress. I have some suggestions want to share with our customers.

1. Language difference
I think most of our seller and supplier is good.the problem is the language differences. That is really hard to avoid. So, the communication is really important before you place an order. I have meet some customers that mix up my production model number with other seller's. Luckly, both he and i have solve the problem, because we have a good communication.

2 about the shipping time.
Some customers choose free shipping, but at the same time, they don't know what is free shipping. Free shipping always means you need to wait for about 1 month.and the tracking information can't be find on the website. Especially if it's a special period in China. For example, now is the People's Congress in China, some package has been check again and again before send out. I know some sellers parcel has been in China for about 2 month just because the congress.

3. Some customers reply that the differences between the picture and the real products. It always happens in the clothes.so i recommand that if you want to buy clothes from aliexpress (actually i hope you don't buy clothes, shoes from aliexpree because the size differences and colour differences between the different computer screen), you can try to ask the seller to send you the real picture of the staff. Without
Computer processing.

4. feedback is good for references.Don't think it's a waste of time before you place an order. Compare with orther shops.

I've purchased about 10-12 times from this site and have never had an issue (knock on wood). It was all crafting items so perhaps that's has something to do with it. All of the sellers I used have several feedback responses. I also only use my actual credit card, not debit mi called to verify that I would be covered with my credit card company in case something were to happen and they assured me I would be. I obviously can't wholeheartedly recommend this site for everything but for the little things my friends and I have purchased we've had no problems.

My experience with this site worked out very good. I bought hand fans and necklace charms from 3 different suppliers. Each one arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was exactly as I expected. One of the suppliers (Tracy from I Am Your Fans) actually emailed back and forth with me to make sure I got the exact product I wanted from her selection. I did not have to deal with returns so I cannot speak to that. I know that is often the challenge with these types of sites.

STAY AWAY from aliexpress.com website. Designer dress with a designer model's picture was advertised on the website. Purchased a dress, only to receive a fake, poorly made, low-quality dress not even close to the original dress ( I bought original dress from dillards before). Tried to dispute as they encourage on the website (If customer is not satisfied with the product), only to be answered as below (copy & paste):

"Tom jiang17 Oct 2012 10:13 (GMT -7)
Hello friend
Sorry to hear that. But all our dresses are made by our factory "EROSE" as describled in the description page. They are all copies.
So we cann't accept your return
Regards
Tom"

I did not see anywhere on the website advertised that I was purchasing a copy of a dress. Something needs to be done with aliexpress website; because, he is entertaining fake suppliers.

They are scam
August 24, 2012

They are scam. Most of the products in their webpage is not viewed with the actual price but lower, just to fool you to order the product an there is no way to cancel the order once you learn the real price and all the exact info.
My opinion do not order anything from them, unless you want to give some donation to them poor Chinese people

Terrible...
August 3, 2012

Terrible... to say the least. I actually found a really good supplier who delivered the goods in a very timely manner and I had great correspondance back and forth with him. The problem? It was impossible to pay for things on aliexpress. I tried paying with a VISA and it kept telling me my VISA 3D verification was not authorized. I called VISA and my bank MANY times and they assured me my card was in perfect working order. I was even on the phone with my bank while putting an order in and the bank assistant on the phone told me the transaction wasn't even showing up on his screen. It was a problem with their website. So I did what everyone else would do... I contacted customer service. Well little did I know that it is non-existent. I sent 4 emails and it has been weeks now with no response to any of my inquires.

Apparently aliexpress is linked with alibaba which is supposed to be a credible company. Not the case, I contacted alibaba several times with no response.

Stay as far away as you possibly can.

Never order anything even if it's a few dollars less than Ebay as they are crooks. I bought 1 android tablet on June 27 and have not received it yet and the seller does not answer my email so I bought another one on Ebay last week and it is arrived in Canada this morning. I lost 107.00$ with Aliexpress and will never buy anything again as they do not accept Paypal anymore and never credit anything and their ESCOW customer protection only protects their sellers.

Aliexpress is the same as alibaba. They are the same scam artists. You pay for escrow service it makes no difference or you are offered free aliexpress buyers guarntee. Its a lie. You have to dig through their customer service site to find non existent replies or one replydays late. Finally i found a phone number for their california office. Wendy was very condescending. I should read the email first to question or dispute the items defective within 5 days. I replied that i received the order it looked fine when i washed it within 30 days as required by california law where they are based i found it was cheap hair from grace yao qingdao grace hair product co ltd. to no avail. You try to dispute the order the button online will not show up they refuse to cancel orders and you find they are synthethic wigs from qingdao long and xin and qingdao au shine co ltd. i am going to fight these people tooth and nail. They have unfettered access to our markets we have very limited access to theirs. I am going to fight them to the very end. I returned all hair items to china refused shipment for the last one. That has not been entered as returned order on their site in my order history i will hope mastercard sees this is a pattern. I thought john ma and yahoo china were honest. I was wrong.

Dude i keep trying too order something on the site, like the payment goes through, and a few moments later, it says in my email that the order was closed and the money was refunded. Im so confused. I keep trying too talk too the sellers and they have no idea what im talking about, and then im emailing these people like crazy and trying too verify that my card is not fraud but nothing works. I see that they go through escrow so i dont know if theirs some specific specifications i need to do in order too be approved, its driving me nuts, im really trying too order this specific thing on their Thats really cheap, and these people must want to drive me crazy!

BEWARE!
May 16, 2012

BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM INCREASINGSHOES, COM of Brooklyn, NY. They sold me three pairs of shoes that look great but fell apart in 3 Weeks. The soles separated from the body of the shoe because they are glued together and although the say the shoes are leather, my shoemaker said they are all plastic. One pair I left in the box and when I took them out I say that the soles were separated from the tip of the shoe, in the box before I even put them on. The shoes were cared for and never set foot in the rain. The customer service agent admitted they have this problem with many of their shoes, but there was nothing he could do. I wanted the shoes repaired or replaced, but he said the company policy is to offer a free pair with my next purchase of shoes. I wrote two letters to the company office in Brooklyn, NY, requesting my 3 pair be repaired, but the letters were returned to sender Not At This Address. BEWARE-OF-INCREASING SHOES.COM

Their escrow sucks!
I ordered a goku cosplay (jackson xie's store calls it boy mascot).
They sent me a goku head as in their picture, but i received a NARUTO top.
Emails went back and forth but JACKSON XIE's store never corrected the problem and stated that "maybe different countries have different look."
I stand firm. They DID NOT send me what was in the picture from their website.
Save yourself headaches dealing with china and their poor customer service. NO WONDER PAYPAL pulled out from alibaba.com
