AliExpress Reviews Summary

The overall reputation of the company reflects significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to pervasive issues with order fulfillment, delayed deliveries, and inadequate customer service. Many customers report difficulties in receiving refunds and resolving disputes, often feeling ignored or misled by the company's support channels. Positive aspects, such as product variety and competitive pricing, are overshadowed by complaints regarding fraudulent sellers and the lack of buyer protection. This trend indicates a pressing need for the company to enhance its customer service protocols and ensure accountability among its sellers to rebuild trust with consumers.

Lost $570
February 18, 2017

Bought car media player but had missing cables and main car connector is incorrect. All messages to seller were completely ignored and arbitration, which seems to be automated rejected photographic evidence saying I needed a video to prove it didn't work. How can I connect it to make a video if cables are wrong? Now they want me to send back to China. I only want the correct cables but can make no contact with human. Never again.

For all those people bashing Aliexpress, all I can say is that you are not careful while buying. I have been using the website for 2 whole years now and have hardly had to cancel my payment. Please follow these simple steps to always be in a good position to buy what you want:

1) Always contact the seller before buying an item. Wait for their response, and see how good their reply is. Dont buy from people not responding, simple.

2) Always check store credibility, especially checking user feedbacks on their products to gauge whether the store is good or not.

3) Remember: CHINA POST IS EITHER FREE OR HAS A SMALL CHARGE AND YES, SHIPMENTS ARE SOMETIMES DELAYED BY MORE THAN 2 MONTHS, AND EVEN GET LOST. For confirmed delivery, order via DHL or EMS. In my case, whenever a shipment was lost, i opened a dispute and my money was returned within 2 weeks.

4) If you are seeing something dirt cheap, do consider that it is a copy of the original. It WILL WORK, I am not implying that it is a fake, but it still would be a copy. Alot of items are worth it even if they are copies of the originals.

Even though they have large varieties of products their customer service is very poor. The products take more than months to be delivered, Sometimes they're not even delivered.

I BOUGHT A COMPUTER MOUSE FROM JIANGLIANG AT ALIEXPRESS.COM. UPON RECEIPT I INFORMED STORE IMMEDIATELY THAT THE ITEM WAS DAMAGED. I KEPT GETTING USELESS RESPONSES FOR MONTHS. ALTHOUGH I PROVIDED EVIDENCE OF DAMAGE, ALIEXPRESS SAID I DID NOT, (CLEARLY VISIBLE PICTURE WAS PROVIDED). NEEDLESS TO SAY, I HAVE WASTED MY MONEY AND ONLY WANT TO WARN OTHERS NOT TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM JIANGLIANG!

Lie about delivery time, lie about orders being cancelled, lie about signature required for shipping, lie about returns and lie about refunds - If I could give 0 stars I would! If you like throwing money away, go ahead and order from these people.

Scamexpress... at all
February 16, 2017

Despite there is a complain center and aliexpress mediates in the conficts with sellers, practically compells you to return the items in order to get back your money. Also, in case of defective items, Mediation of Aliexpress is very problematic, compelling you to demonstrate with evidences the item's defects. Sometimes, this is impossible to demonstrate, by instance, if you have buyed apparently a stereophonic device but the seller have sent a monophonic device (scam). So, better buy in other internet shops, like gearbest, banggood, ebay... forget Aliexpress

Buyer beware
February 16, 2017

Don't even think of canceling an order. Keep getting refused. I even payed for postage. What a joke. Over 4 weeks to receive item when I payed for quick delivery. Communication is also a joke. All I received was a condasending emoji. What an insult. I have spent a lot of money on Ali express and the more I deal with them the worst the experience is.

I am AliExpress Customer for only a month now and i must to confess that it has been a nightmare dealing with the seller.
1) don't trust the review you see on the items.
2) they have a tricky and fraudulent triggers if a buyer want to cancel an order and on the end you end up without your refund. You lose.

I have the same beef that Mike below me posted. Been a long time buyer spending thousands of dollars, only to have everything go bad after there 11/11 sale. Disputing half the orders and waiting for them to cut me off. Real shame loved the deals. Buyer beware now.

Buyer beware!
February 15, 2017

Beware! I tried to order three six dollar items, the total for which amounted to just over twenty U.S. dollars. When I paid with a credit card I received a message that "due to security concerns: my payment couldn't be accepted. I was asked to file an appeal. I did so - sent in copies of my passport, driver's license (to prove billing address), copy of the credit card, and copy of the card statement. After about 10 days I received an email that the "appeal was approved. You can now use your credit for shopping at AliExpress". Signed on to pay for the items, and got the same message: "due to security..."! FOUR calls to customer service, explaining the situation over and over and over (doesn't anyone keep records with the order number? Doesn't the credit authorization department communicate with the payment department? Finally I was told to "wait three days, and the payment will go through". I waited three days, paid, and got the SAME MESSAGE AGAIN! TWO WEEKS LATER, in total frustration at repeating the same story, I was told "We're sorry, you'll have to submit you appeal and documents again. Don't worry; this time the payment will go through"! Needless to say, FORGET THESE PEOPLE!

I have been a customer for many years and has been purchasing small items (less than $50 on each item). So far I have spent almost $600 on the items on the site. However, recently, most of my orders did not arrive so I filed for a dispute. Note that I file a dispute where in I already waited for almost (or more than for some items) 60 days. AliExpress sided with the seller and flagged my account as abusive, I currently have 14 outstanding orders awaiting delivery still and 4 orders (with multiple items) that has not arrived. NO REFUND OR WAY FOR ME TO GET MY REFUND SINCE MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED. I think this is a tactic for them to run away with your money. TOTALLY NO SECURITY. I am planning of complaining to the consumer's board here in Canada so that these thief can be blocked and other consumers can be warned.

The New Great Wall
February 14, 2017

-------0 STARS THIS STUPID SCUMBAG THIEVING BUREAUCRATIC COMMUNIST COMPANY HAS NOW RIPPED ME OFF 6 TIMES. Everything on this site is in undecipherable pidgin English. There are not two braincells to rub together from ANYONE in Management, There are too many ripoff sellers that management does nothing about. Customer DisService is the absolute WORST in the galaxy and is only thru hours-long USELESS CHATS transmitted in 150-character segments. They ask you to upload endless info which is IMPOSSIBLE because, like everything ELSE on the site, the link to do so doesn't work. Their so-called "Buyer Protection" is a complete FRAUD. Evidently non-receipt of your order, getting a WRONG order, & getting a DAMAGED order are NOT COVERED. Avoid DAVID ZHU, ALINA, PARTY BOUTIQUE, TEAMTOP TRADING, & TINGTOP TRADING AT ALL COSTS.

Terrible store
February 13, 2017

DONT WASTE Your TIME AND MONEY!
I'm so disappointed with AliExpress. I have ordered about 30 items on 11.11, spend around 350$ but never received even half of them after 4 months of waiting. I have opened despites because protection plan was running out. And now they terminated my account, returned 0$ for all my request. The customer service not helping at all, said somebody will send me email with details of my termination but nobody contact me back.
Horrible experience!

I should have read reviews before buying. Lesson learned. Never received my order. Customer service is a joke. They just tell you to wait longer then release money to seller in China. I am convinced this is a total scam. Beware... don't lose your money like I did.

Terrible business!
February 12, 2017

I ordered various small items from this company when they had their big sale on November 11th. Unfortunately, 90% of my orders never arrived, so when I tried to ask for refunds, Aliexpress just closed my account. I got some of the money back, but not all of it. How in the world is this fair?! I tried to contact their customer service, but it is only online, and the agents (if they are even real) only have standard automated repossess such as "I understand", "I get your point", or "what is your order number?". These replies don't even make sense in conversations, and the "agents" can't do anything. They ask for you to wait a few minutes and then the chat goes inactive, so you start over with a new agent. Basically, customer service is a joke and a lesson in frustration.

And pray for not having any problem because if you do there is any tel number or even email that you can contact to help you. The costumer service is a total deceive the let you think they are going to help you but they do nothing. Dont waste your money or time. Garbage garbage garbage
