Good selection of older books, responsive website and efficient mailing. I'm also notified if a book I ordered is unavailable and if possible given a choice of another source.

Always the place to find the exact rare book I want. And the best value too.

That went fine, easy and straight forward just the way I like it, but time will tell how good it really is.

I tried getting books from the same place to save on shipping, but I still ended up paying for each book.

Shipping costs more than the books so you're not saving a ton of money buying from here as opposed to buying new.

Search didn't seem to prioritize what I was looking for had to go to next page to find it. PayPal sign in seemed complicated. But overall satisfied with results

I ordered ten books from Albris on the 6th and 7th of March 2026. Eight of the books arrived in a reasonably timely manner. Two of the books were advertised and sold as hardcovers. Two paperback versions arrived which were mass market copies. One of the vendors, when contacted, said he did not have a copy of the book that fulfilled the order. So, it appears the seller never had the book as advertised and was dishonest enough to try to pass off a copy worth maybe 10 percent of the ordered book

With many sites, if you select Paypay for payment at the cart, it does not ask for address information as this is stored within Paypal.

Great books for a good price. My first 2 books I ordered went to a different address. I am hoping I will get these at my address

Twice the DVD stopped playing, the first time 45 minutes in. Because the DVD was divided into chapters, I was able to begin again at the next chapter, although I missed some of the film. Then as I neared the big climax, the DVD jumped to the end credits. By scrolling backwards from there and then hitting Play, I was able to see most of what had just been skipped over, but it was a frustrating experience!

I like the selection of books and the price of the books are very affordable.

There was a sticker on the front of the book (over the title) stating the name of the Alibris seller that damaged the book when it was removed.

I was not able to log in and create an account - so I continued as a guest.

Purchasing experience was fine but I was never given tracking info and was told it wasn't available when I asked for it. The order showed up eventually but not in time for the birthday it was for.

Just had to spend 20 minutes trying to find out what book you were talking about, since no title in your email. Asking confirmation and I had just ordered a whole bunch from AbeBooks so didn't remember which was yours. I hate getting homework after doing anything online!
