Active Analysis by Dr. Sharon Carnicke is cheaper when I order it from Oxford, UK (Blackwell's bookstore) and the shipping is free. Why is this? Since I am the playwright in the book, I have ordered five of them already, and would have preferred to use your company, but thrift is my frugal life as a poor playwright.

Found a compact disk I had been searching for - a rare one- at a good price - although I did have to settle for its being in "good" rather than "ver good" condition. Hopefully it plays well.

It feels like a scam when I get an email telling me I need to use my $20 discount, but there isn't one. Then when I see the coupon codes saying that I can use for various purchase totals, they also don't work. Also, last time I purchased, I bought two books from the same seller to get a bigger bang from my shipping buck, and one of the books was suddenly unavailable. I would have cancelled my order in that case but was not given the opportunity to do so. This meant I paid more for shipping than for the actual book. It would be better to alert the purchaser that something is no longer available and give them the option of cancelling or continuing with their purchase.

The separate shipping costs are a pain to deal with. On price for the item and one total shipping price are much easier.

Overall, my shopping experience was very good, but it would have been nice to find certain items a bit easier instead of having to type in everything.

Double shipping if I want 2 of the same book. Website could be better navigating through different seller items and navigating between cart and checkout pages. Not the simplest, most intuitive of websites.

Alibris is a fare place to shop for used books that are of importance to each individual. They are always my first choice for browsing.

I may be wrong, but I think when I ordered two of the same books from the same shop, I paid two full shipping charges. It would be nice to have received a small discount on shipping since I chose an environmentally responsible option, ordering two books from the same shop, as opposed to different shops. I'm still happy with my purchase and I'm sure this is not an easy programming fix but it would be nice…

I was able to find copies of old books not available elsewhere, and also recent books in good condition but cheaper than new. The search feature works well and check out is simple.

Alibris helped me easily find and purchase a particular book for which I was looking, in the condition I wanted, and at the best price I could find for that book in that condition.

They always have what I'm looking for at a cheaper price than elsewhere!

I have just received an e-mail asking if I had received a recent order. I just replied that I had received the order but really did not know for sure what it was. The order was identified by a number and it would have been much better if the title had been given. I order many books. But I am very much satisfied with the service.
