Twice the DVD stopped playing, the first time 45 minutes in. Because the DVD was divided into chapters, I was able to begin again at the next chapter, although I missed some of the film. Then as I neared the big climax, the DVD jumped to the end credits. By scrolling backwards from there and then hitting Play, I was able to see most of what had just been skipped over, but it was a frustrating experience!
I could not get the site to respond this morning and had to wait 12 hours to try again. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
I like the selection of books and the price of the books are very affordable.
There was a sticker on the front of the book (over the title) stating the name of the Alibris seller that damaged the book when it was removed.

Purchasing experience was fine but I was never given tracking info and was told it wasn't available when I asked for it. The order showed up eventually but not in time for the birthday it was for.
Just had to spend 20 minutes trying to find out what book you were talking about, since no title in your email. Asking confirmation and I had just ordered a whole bunch from AbeBooks so didn't remember which was yours. I hate getting homework after doing anything online!
You keep changing things without explanation. Also you seem not to deal with Better World Books.
Almost all business allow cancellation withing 24 hrs. Of ordering
NOT ALIBRIS, I tried to cancel quickly and was denied cancellation.
I will no longer recommend Alibris to friends as I've done for years.

It would be nice if you separated the shipping address from billing more easily.
I often send books as gifts so need different shipping address from billing.
Had to recover some earlier forms.
And reset passwords several times considering that it handled all mistakes I made it was up to the challenge
I received a like-new book at a good price and in good condition. I like being able to purchase from a variety of different used book sellers, many of whom support worthwhile causes.
The book has multipole pages written on and work completed on the pages. We will keep the book and use it as a teacher's book, but I cannot give it to a student. I will eat the cost of the book.

Watching a documentary on folk horror I was turned on to an unfamiliar early twentieth century author. Alibris allowed me to identify titles by that author, and best of all, to identify the very kind of binding, size, age, and publishing house I wanted (I prefer mid to late century hardbound copies for their sturdiness). I got a lovely, intact copy with a sewn binding and a dust jacket! I really love Alibris and have been a customer for years!
I adore Alibris for the access it gives me to independent booksellers and their rare, out of print, and difficult to find books all over the world. The interface makes browsing a pleasure, as well.
There is no place to put in a discount code. I signed up for the text messaging $5 off.
When you say " billing address is same as shipping,, and I un click "yes" then you give a new space to write an address but you don't say whether the new address is the billing address or the shipping address…. And if I guess wrong (as i did) there is no way to update JUST the address of the credit card—at least it is very hard to find, so you (or I) have to enter all of the card information again…
The text I received has writing throughout. I don't remember that being in its description. It's not a big deal; I can work with it, but I would have liked to have known ahead of time.

Answer: I saw the fake stellar reviews and did not dig deeper. I til... I had an issue. Initially, I wanted to give a small seller some business after COVID and the site looked really good. What a big mistake that was! Shame on this outfit.
