I have purchased many books on this site over many years, and continue to use it as it is easy to use and my experiences with respect to cost, timely delivery and expected book condition and content have very good, with only one or two exceptions.

Such a pleasure to browse and shop at Alibris! I was surprised the Australian film "The Getting of Wisdom" (1977) by Bruce Beresford is a rarity. That is a wonderful movie, beautifully made! Hope more copies (DVDs!) turn up later. It needs to be preserved.

I'm tired of all the "privacy" procedures required with online purchases. I think it has gotten out of hand. I have 3 pages (typed) of passwords, which is impossible to remember, not to mention "user names". And I'm tired of having to prove I'm a human, not a robot, and selecting all the bicycles in the array of pictures. By the time I'm logged in, I've forgotten what I wanted to order! Several times I gave up and checked out without buying anything. There has to be a better way!

Alibris is awesome, okay? Out of print? Unavailable at my local library? The only alternative is to feed the beast? Alibris fills so many needs. I used to live near Powell's Books, the city-block-multi-level maze in Portland OR. But I don't anymore. So Alibris is my country-wide, multi-store source. You want it? They can get it.

Easy to find, lots of sellers. Variety of conditions, Easy to filter. Past experience has been excellent. When buying form multiple sellers, options to combine and reduce shipping costs. A great service.

I have found good used quality medical and other books on your site in the past

It would have been nice to get this survey closer to the time I actually received the books. The email said wait 24-48 hours (why not send the email later?). I ended up waiting 72 hours before the books arrived. The books were in good shape, no damage because of shipping. They were the books I wanted, so I'm happy with that.

Always loved using Alibris. I've never had a problem that wasn't addressed promptly. Especially like that you rate the sellers. E-books are nice but I still like having a book in my hands that I can take anywhere. (Just wish shipping wasn't so expensive.)

Great experience so far. I was looking for a rare and hard to find book and happened upon alibris.com in the course of my search. While it was not available at the time, I took advantage of the service they offer which will notify you if a copy becomes available. They monitor their there.network and then send an email with price, condition, etc if they find one. I was able to connect to them through the email and a couple of clicks (and a credit card) later, I should have the book in 3-11 days with less than $5 shipping too!

Easy purchase--great condition-excellent experience

It was easy to find the book and move to the check out process.

My books arrived in a timely manner and were in good condition! The books themselves were cheap, but the sipping was outrageous. I only paid $8 and some change for the books themselves but the shipping charges were $15! All and all not a bad price for a complete series. They all came from different sellers so maybe if its just one seller it will only be $4.99? Still better than other online competitor's for my money. I will be using Alibris again!

Order was as expected. In this economy appears to be a slightly misprinted edition and has some hand written notes which is cool.

So far very easy to purchase the book since alibris already had my contact and purchase information.

Alibris is a great place to look for and buy books. If you have a "Im looking for a book about" search to do, this store cant be beat. Always give you choices and descriptions so you get the books your looking for right in your home. I have bought many books here and will again for sure.

It would be nice if I could combine books into one order from the same shipper to save little on shipping. This would mean I would buy more books. 2 books shipped from Alibris wanted to charge separate shipping on each? So I only bought one

The book had lots of pencil notes. Makes it hard to read. I would have chosen another seller had I known this.
