Lodged an English cheque in AIB Mullingar and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to clear, 6 weeks later i called in to see if it was cleared and was told it would take another 6 weeks, i asked why and was told thats how long it takes with AIB, i asked why i was told 4-6 weeks ages ago she said "you were not told that" i showed her a text message which was proof of this she said OH WAIT A MINUTE AND I WILL CHECK, she came back in a few minutes and said it would take another 6 weeks, no apology or elaination nothing, i rang head office and got the same bullsh1t.
The minute the cheque clears i will be closing my account and lodging in a bank who know what they are doing.
