I placed $100 order and I was supposed to get $25 gift certificate promotion. I never get it even though they admitted that I am entitled to it. The certificate was good till Jan 5th and today is 7th. Without certificate it was not a great value. I was a customer for a long time but now I am so upset that I do not feel like shopping with them any more. From other comments I understand that I was not the only one with exact problem

I like the promotions and discounts to the email, items are very well described, good quality. I recommend that if you are buying from this site, you buy various items at the time, that way you will avoid the shipping charges. Ex, you buy a shirt, the shipping is like $7, you buy three shirts, the shipping is still $7, so that is the only advice. The items arrive withing 5 days of the purchase. I really like the communication, they send you the transaction information and the tracking number, so you know the progress of the shipment. I recommend it.

Please do not review if you are affiliated or have a conflict of interest with this website. Ordered on a 50% off clearance. The order did not get placed but the money was held on my card. After waiting 8 days for the release the manager gave me the 50% off for "failed attempt" just had to choose the items and call it in. Did that the items online did not match their computer (there's was more) so the Rep was fixing the prices and supposedly giving me the 50% off. Well she charged me full price with the higher pricing and stated I'd get a credit in 3-5 business days. Well 4 phone calls and a week later nothing but a promise a manager would call back. That was 4 days ago. Never again.

Typically I have been very happy with the online order but I placed an order 2 days ago and after I was charged they tell me one of my items is not available... Really what was your website doing while I was reviewing my cart before I processed and submitted my order? I can not understand how this happens. I will be CANCELLING THE ENTIRE ORDER *******486

I would like to stress to all aeropostale cuatomers, how horrible there customer service is. I place an order tuesday for the extended cyber monday sale, everything went smooth they charged my card gave me a confirmation number since i was over $50 they gave me free shipping, days later i receive an email saying they cancelled a scarf from my order. Fine they made a mistake by adding it to my cart when they were out of stock and charging my card even tough they say it was only an authorization but the funds were still taken away from me. What got me upset was that since they cancelled the scarf i went under 50 and they decided to charge me shipping. They werent curteous enough to still grant me free shipping so my total ended up being the same now that only without my scarf how convenient for them right. So i call customer service speak to the supervisor brittney and at this point i still want to make the sale with them give her i give her options to make things work her only answer was "no" "no" a straight out "no" not a im sorry mam for the trouble or i apologize for the inconvenience dam just a straight "no" how can u call that Customer Service... This is my first order and my last i will ever place with you guys i will make sure to share provide feedback on all the social media where u guys promote your clothes. This is just a scam! And i guess for you your customers are just a order number. Last time i order from you... and if you have some decensy you can message me on Facebook to get my number to cal me back. I got my shipment very quickly. The quality of my garments were sturdy even though the items were inexpensive. The only issue I had was with fit. I found that some of the proportions were a little off and the clothes ran a little small; however, I do wear clothes rather loosely. You won't go wrong with this site.

I ordered during a super sale. 70% off and more. I got a down jacket market medium. I ordered a medium so I could wear jackets or sweaters under neath. The jacket sent to me was small enough for a third grader. They sent me a child size jacket and it was not miss marked. I have shopped in their stores and never noticed under sized clothing. I am not a big person and a medium is what I order to have give in my outer wear, but the arms and body of this jacket was super short. Aero gave me a fast refund and this is why they got two stars just for that prompt response.

WOW, WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER. Ordered 4 items, used my $50 gift card and remaining balance on my credit card. When i submit my order it says 3 items no longer avail. But the order for the 1 item went through anyway; didn't even give me the chance to review or cancel. So i attempt to cancel online but can't pull up my order. Called c. S. and they can't help me either and that i should keep trying; it's been almost two hours. The worst part, out of curiosity i inquire about the balance on my gift card and it says zero. How's that possible? The 1 item was nowhere near $50. I was told to call back the next day cause they can't do anything for me until then. Called the next day and they finally said that it was their system error and they had received numerous complaints from other customers regarding the same gift card issues. Yet, they can't credit my balance until several days from now. In short, they can't help me cancel my order but they can deplete my entire gift card.

I have yet to have a positive experience ordering from them. My last order I had ordered several t-shirts that were on sale. When they arrived 2 weeks later I had looked and 3 t-shirts were missing from the box. They were listed on the list that came inside of the box and they were listed on the invoice... when I called to ask why I didn't receive them I was treated like I was lying. Then after speaking to the supervisor I was told the shirts were out of inventory, which is why I didn't get mine. When I asked for a different colour for a replacement I was told I had to pay full price for each shirt (as apposed to the sale price I paid) and pay additional shipping to have them sent out.

Cannot believe that they processed my order and told me everything was in stock at the time to then just not pack the items because they ran out and couldn't even take a minute to call and let me know.

I placed an order on Jan 5th with aeropostale. Later that day after placing my order I checked my email for a confirmation and didnt have one so the next day I called customer service to make sure there wasnt a problem. When I spoke with the rep she stated that I had entered my zip incorrectly so there wasnt an order created, but that the purchase had been charged to my card as a temp hold but assured me that it would be put back into my account in 3-5 buisness days. I asked could the order just be fixed bc i really wanted the stuff and was told no. Its now Jan 23rd I have called 6 times havent received my money back and have been talked to HORRIBLY by these reps. I ask to speak to a supervisor and they claim there isnt one for me to speak to and then proceed to tell me they will have to disconnect the call with me bc they arent allowed to look for a supervisor for more that 2 mins. I have spoke with supervisors been sent to different depts and emailed customer service as well with no luck. I have never had this problem or been treated this way. Its not about the money this is about the fact that I paid for something didnt get it and havent been reimbursed for my money. I don't even know who to try to contact now to get the money or file a complaint with.

Aeropostale is like a cheaper Hollister, and I feel like it's more popular amongst young Latin Americans or Europeans, though I could be wrong. I've bought a couple things from aeropostale.com for nieces - honestly Asian families are so big that buying gifts on Christmas isn't easy or cheap. One of the last orders I made was much more of a hassle than necessary (especially for a couple of cheap t-shirts). One of the shirts came defective, and there was a mix-up in the orders. Shipping back would have been on me so I just bit the bullet and took it.
