Are you charged anything during the 30 day free trial? An activation fee? Cancellation fee?

@Steph B what you are reading is for the combo box which you get a tablet and agree to a 12 month contract. With that you get a tablet & headphones and have 14 days before you will be charged 24.95 for each month. With that deal you also have to pay 9.95 shipping. All other services you have no contract and can cancel at any time during your service. There is no fee to cancel with any other service including the service with access to all they offer (audio books / music / movies / games / books).

I think that is with their "combobox" tablet and headphones device, as those terms do in fact refer to a device. That is completely normal.

I am considering and even though there are negative posts I think the service may bear a trial. BUT after reading this REP response saying there are no cancellation fees. I am a little concerned. There are fees according to your site. Ending Your Agreement
You may terminate the Service for any reason within [14] days of receipt of your device by contacting our customer service. You must return your device within the device return period to avoid being charged an Early Termination Fee in the amount of 80% of remaining subscription fee payable for the balance of the Minimum Term (the "Early Termination Fee"). If you cancel your subscription to the Service after the [14]-day return period, but prior to the expiration of the Minimum Term, we will charge you an Early Termination Fee and a Restocking Fee.

When you sign up for Playster initially there is a small $1.00 deductible used to validate your credit card. This is not a charge, and will always be returned to your balance within 72 hours. During the 30 day trial your card will not be charged; however, if you do not cancel within the 30 day window, your membership will automatically convert to a premium membership and you will be charged for your first month. Playster has no cancellation fees. You have the option of ending your free trial or your subscription at any time, at absolutely no cost to yourself.
