I purchased a bed through Wowcher which was a pile of crap the company was called Durest Beds in Shrewsbury. I complained to Wowcher and was just told to get in contact with the supplier of the bed.
I did this and they don't want to know, the were very rude on the phone and in so many words said hard luck. The advert stated the mattress was going to be 26cm memory foam when in fact the memory foam is only 1inch thick. Wowcher say the vet everybody that advertises through them, well they didn't vet this company, they just take there commision and hope everything goes OK but when there's a problem your left to sort it yourself. I have got in touch with trading standards and reported Wowcher and Durest Beds.
I WOULD STRONLY RECOMMEND YOU STEER CLREAR OF BOTH THESE USELESS COMPANIES.

Really bad customer and can't get the order right
We ordered a black item which come in 2 boxes. They sent out 1 box in black and one in gray. Even though the colour is on the outside of the box. Tried to ring and was told no one meaning the phone due to covid. So tried live chat only to be told that they cant help and we need to contact customer services by email as this is the only way to make contact. I did this to get an auto reply saying they will reply in 48 hours. They replied with a question which I answered and again another 48 hours for another reply with another question. This went on for over a week. Then they said they will pick up the wrong box and when they get it back they will send out the right one. I asked why they couldn't just send out and pick up at the same time. I didn't get an answer to that. That means I had to stay in for 3 different days to get my order. They were meant to pick it up today and they didn't. I have emailed again which will take 48 hours again. This could of all been sorted with one call if I could talk to someone on the phone. I'm am so feed up with the service I looked up getting a refund and returning the item. All i could find was that they will collect it and credit my account. I want a full refund paid back into my bank account not in theirs. Do they really think I would buy off them again after this kind of service. No chance. I would not recommend or advice anyone to buy off wowcher. They have really bad customer service. They have your money and don't seem to work to any logic. Never buy of them again. I would rather pay twice as much off some more reliable. You have been warned.

I downloaded the Wowcher app on my iPhone and was immediately asked to provide my email address, which I declined to give. Instead I proceeded with my Apple ID. Ever since then I have had a barrage of unsolicited, unwanted spam emails the volume of which I can scarcely describe using words found in the English language.
In accordance with Data laws of the UK, I have emailed Wowcher asking them to remove me from their spammy junk database and to cease sending me unrequested drivel. So far they have ignored every single such request (and there have been dozens). So I am now escalating this to the ICO who are apparently already gathering information about this sham outfit for their abject failure to adhere to the laws governing data.

Would I download Wowcher again? Only if my life hinged on it, and even then I'd think twice.

Placed three orders - received items after ages and completely different to what was described. One of the orders was for a pack of toilet rolls - received mini paper rolls looking like remainders of used toilet rolls! Sent them back - got a Wowcher credit in their wallet to use against another purchase. The postage was not refunded. Tried to use the credit to buy another item just not to loose everything but it is not working. Customer service is non existent. STAY AWAY.

No words can describe how dishonest this company is. I purchased 2 palm tree plants on 01/04/2020 via PayPal. The plants never arrived, so I contacted them via email and was told a refund cannot be given, but on this occasion a credit will be applied to your account. This is complete and utter nonsense. Nearly 2 months later and after launching a dispute through PayPal, I have received a full refund. Avoid all the stress & anxiety that we are all going through at this difficult time and purchase from a local or reputable store. Steer clear at all costs is my advice.

Worst experience ever. Do not use wowcher.co.uk. I have received an experience voucher for my birthday, from a friend. Because I could not attend the experience and wowcher would not give you the money, I've agreed for the credit on my wowcher wallet, so I can redeem it against something else. I have created an account specifically for this. Fast forwards a couple of months, I have placed an order - had to use up the credit as wowcher would not give you the money back, only wowcher credit in your wallet. To me this was fair enough as this was a gif anyways. Placed in the order with the item no. *******, meant to arrive on the 12th of December, just in time for Christmas. It never did. Contacted wowcher. They told me to contact the merchandiser directly. Done so. They told me the order has been lost in transit and refunded me.
Mid January I have placed a second order with no. ******* Same story. Never arrived. Contacted the merchandiser, they told me same thing: Hermes said parcel is lost in transit. Asked for a refund. They said they will give me a full refund. Got an email from wowcher with the following: "We have arranged a credit refund of £2.73 for order number *******, item number *******. This has been added to your Wowcher Wallet and will expire on 12/05/2020. NB: This order included a NON-REFUNDABLE credit amount of £22.76 "
Emailed Wowcher and the merchandiser to enquire how that 22.76 quid are non refundable, no answer.
Disgusting service. Disgusting attitude. Seeing other reviews similar to mine, I can tell this is how they are making money, they just hope people will not make a fuss over small sums. It will not be the case with me. I will make sure to leave this review on every website their name appear and hoping in this way to warn other people from using them.

Ordered 2 buxus plants and pots through wowcher garden bargains cist 29.99 when arrived 3 weeks late they were tiny horrid cheap plastic pots and heavily diseased with blight. 6 weeks on no response or refund... a total scam do not buy anything from this site or company

Purchased 4 vouchers for the 4 night Malta deal last Wednesday for just over £600. Tried to redeem on Friday but my vouchers stated that it's already been redeemed. Only found out that you need to redeem within two days of purchase (this is only on the small print of the voucher 5th line down) so there's no way of knowing this until you print it. I've emailed several times but I have haven't received a response. Tried to call yesterday and was left on hold only to be cut off and asked to take a review about my experience with the advisor. This is complete joke. I just want to book my trip as It's for my 50th! I've never had this problem with Wowcher before so I'm thoroughly disgusted and disappointed, like the customer before stated, I too feel totally scammed!
